Preservatives will be used to increase shelflife of foodproducts and these are cheap ones and will be used unless we bring some alternative way that is both cheap and not harmful to preserve food.

Nothing will happen to fssai officials, but our health and export will be damaged. Eat homemade food. Prepare spices/masalas in home like our grandmas used to do.
But those days are gone, you will have to grow your own crops if you want authentic stuff cause even the vegetables in the market/malls have degraded quality.

Generally FSSAI follows EU regulation for specification not codex & EU regulation specified more than 600 pesticides but in India we are testing and following around 243 only

Central Government is directly responsible for compromising with the health and hygiene standard of Indian consumers at large. In any state of India, large Indian companies like Everest, MDH, ITC, Himani have created a monopoly in any given area of operation. They doesn't care about safety standards for pesticides, preservative, artificial food colors etc. on the pretext of supplying large number of people.
Any species sold in India are full of artificial colours which has carcinogenic properties. Things are kept silent with under the table transaction. FSSAI is a joke and is busy collecting revenue online for a certificate and then fall silent.
FSSAI should do an internal and impartial auditing and publish the same report on their website while also maintain the trade secracy of brands.

I work in the agriculture sector and I'm also involved in providing information to farmers in madhya pradesh, I can assure you.....not only spices but all the vegetables and agronomical crops that you eat has way more than required pesticides farmers use..... Wale up to reality......
