എന്തിനാണ് പൗരത്വ നിയമത്തിൽ ഒരു ഭേദഗതി വരുത്തിയത് എന്നുവച്ചാൽ............
ഇന്ത്യ വിഭജനത്തെ തുടർന്ന് ഇന്ത്യ പാക്കിസ്ഥാൻ എന്ന് രണ്ട് രാജ്യമായി മാറുന്നു...........

ഈ ഉടമ്പടി പാലിക്കാത്തതിനെത്തുടർന്ന് പാക്കിസ്ഥാനിലെ മതന്യൂനപക്ഷങ്ങൾക്ക് വലിയ പീഡനം നേരിടുകയും അതിൽ ചിലർ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് വരുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.............
ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് പഴയ കിഴക്കൻ പാക്കിസ്ഥാനായിരുന്നു. പാകിസ്ഥാനിലെയും ബംഗ്ലാദേശിലെയും പീഡനങ്ങൾ സഹിക്കാതെ ചിലർ ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് എന്നപോലെ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനിലേക്കും പാലായനം ചെയ്യേണ്ടതായി വരുന്നു..............
