Veriko Tchumburidze est la première violoniste exceptionnelle à émerger de Turquie, d'origine géorgienne. Certifié intergalactique ! 🌹
Apart from the soloist doing an excellent job of Bruch's work, I am amazed that nobody noticed that this work is Op.46 NOT Op.48. A correction would be in order.
Almost half century ago Christian Ferass and London Symphony with sir Adrian Bolt performance and this historic performance today........ ..and also 정 경화 ............
⚠️Tempo too slow, FUNEREAL, Mr Conductor. It's a FANTASY, not a WAKE! Violin: too much Sforzando. Needs to be smoother. I can't hear the HARP enough. These are beautiful SCOTTISH FOLK SONGS, ORCHESTRATED. The whole thing needs to be LIGHTER, not plodding/heavy. This performance FAILS to capture the character of Bruch's masterpiece. Listen to Kyung Wha CHUNG/Charles DUTOIT and you'll hear what I mean.
I do not know this work a lot, have only heard it two or three times, but I totally agree about the unhearable harp. Will search the Kyung Wha Chung version, thanks for the tip.

This Fantasy is really hard in some places. Every fiddle player struggles with those little spots - even Heifetz.
