Thank you for explaining it so well! I’m trying to get my head around all this to get my songs audio ready for Spotify etc. It’s complicated stuff that’s for sure!
Great advice Pete thanks again … I usually do Eq my tracks but a lot of the time the default sounds compliment each other enough for just a tad of EQ’ing especially in GB (not Great Britain) 😂👏🏻👏🏻🎹🎹
Hey Pete, another good video. I did notice that you didn’t use the Analyzer in the Visual EQ which I always find quite helpful in identifying spiky frequencies in a track. Otherwise, really informative vid.
Yeah. I have mixed feelings about the visualiser. Definitely can help sometimes but also can lead to mixing too much with your eyes instead of your ears. Thanks for the reminder. I should have at least shown it!
I have a question. What's the best way to make the Grand Piano in Garage Band sound more realistic? I used my Yamaha p-515 digital piano as a midi controller to record my piano music into the DAW. However, the sound was artificial. What can I do?

Another excellent ‘boots on the ground’ vid, Pete. Thanks!😉👍
Cheers Bubba. I know many folks know most of this but I also know it bamboozled me when I was starting out.
Thank you for this! Everyone does stuff with Mac GB and you’re one of the few who does IOS so this is most appreciated.
Thanks my friend! Yes, I love my GarageBand iOS!!
Another great video, thanks Pete
Welcome Will. Thanks for your support.
Thank you Pete Johns! I need simple for my simple ways👍🏼
Haha! Me too my friend.
Haha that intro hooked me up immediately

I hear you Sally! Sometimes it’s easy to overcomplicate. Keeping it simple is often the best!
Yay!
Hey there! 😎

Haha! Nice one. Yes it’s funny whenever I write GB and I get a little bit of this action. 🇬🇧

I highly recommend the Ravenscroft 275 piano app. th-cam.com/video/aGOgnUwNgY8/w-d-xo.html
Short for equalization. Of what? Volume, tone, etc.
Yup. Volume or gain of a frequency.
How can we do this ?
On GarageBand iPadOS youtu.be/
Not sure sorry? Maybe ask at the GarageBand Users Facebook group? studiolivetoday.com/gbu
