Godsmack is fantastic. They still tour and put on one of the best shows!
The lead singer is Sully Erna and he does a drum duel ( yes he plays drums too!!!!) with drummer Shannon Larkin ( who replaced original drummer Tommy Stewart.). You need to react to the drum duel!!!! it is next level!!!!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to see Metallica and Godsmack at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati in the early 2000s. At one point in the show, a 2nd drum set rose from the floor, and Sully (the singer) got behind it, and him and the drummer did an insane drum duet. Amazing show.

@AlexHernandez-yb9rx hell yes it was. I've seen them 5 times. This time, both summer sanitarium tours, rudd arena in KY and once more at river front stadium, the same stadium I saw them and Godsmack at but it was riverfront stadium then. My personal favorite band of all time. Master of Puppets and And Justice for all are masterpiece albums. And idc about the lack of bass in AJFA as I respect it as a tribute to Cliff.

"Freak On A Leash" by Korn is one of the biggest hits in this genre, and possibly THE best music video.
This is one of my favorite songs of theirs along with voodoo, straight out of line, serenity, awake
Lead singer is Sully Erna. I’ve seen Godsmack several times in concert. He was actually a drummer. He was so good that he didn’t really need lessons. He plays guitar now too. He’s an amazing musician! You definitely need to listen to more Godsmack! I don’t remember all the songs you have reacted to, but Sully Erna and their drummer, Shannon Larkin always do this “Battle of the Drums” at all their concerts. It’s so good, you should definitely check that out!
Also, more Godsmack songs: Sick of Life, Awake, Greed, Vampires (I think this would be a cool one to watch live), Time Bomb, Spiral, Serenity and Whatever (just to name a few). Anything Godsmack is just AMAZING!

I was a police officer back in the day in the hometown of this band. I got a noise ordinance call, arrived loud band going (really good metal) told them if I had to came back it would be a violation and the fine would be a smack from God for their checking account. I named that band…my story and I’m sticking to it
I was told they got their name from the Alice n Chains song called godsmack. But cool story tho.

Sully laughed at him and mocked him.

Sully Erna is an amazing singer and musician... drums, electric guitar and piano are all highlighted in their live shows and they still play all these old classics... Voodoo and Under Your Scars are both awesome examples of old and new and the drum battles from live shows are amazing too! Thanks for the great reaction!!
An evening with Godsmack....is a MUST watch o TH-cam. It is an hour (or so) Vegas concert. Very similar to MTV's old Unplugged series.

My wife and I saw them with Shinedown in Xfinity center in Mansfield, MA in 2018. Fantastic show. I actually saw them before they were big in my hometown of Lowell, MA during a promo event for a local radio station, 107.3 WAAF.

I went to a concert that had papa roach, shinedown, staind, pod, three days grace and godsmack. I’m not a godsmack fan but they were by far the best live. They put on a show!! It’s hard to explain how good they are live
Godsmack will be having The Warning open some of their shows later this year..a reaction from something off their new album would be cool.. the whole album bangs! Immensely talented young women in that band from Mexico.

One of my favorite of the current bands (I'm old and go way back 😁), but this is just a warmup for Godsmack. My favorite of theirs has to be "The Enemy", although I'll give fair warning in that it has a few F-bombs.
Yeah, Sully Erna's vocals are perfect for their music, and he does have some solo stuff out there as well.
Hi Amber and Jay love listening to your reactions. You are lucky now to have all this new music to listen to and appreciate like we did back in the 70's. I am an aussie girl and grew up as a teenager in the 70's listening to all the great music we had! You don't really need to live back then to appreciate all the good music we had, just keep doing what you are doing and listen to all of it and I know you appreciate the soft rock ballads of David Gates and Bread. I loved them so much and went to see them way back when they were current. Absolutely amazing they were. Can you try and get in touch with David Gates he is still around and get him on your show when you talk to the original artists about their music and their songs that would be fantastic for you Amber and all the fans of Bread and David Gates he is such a lovely man!

I'm in the "Awake" video. It was filmed in my hometown and you can see me as an extra with long black hair and my blue shirt tied around my waist so the white shirt pops. I have stories from that night hahaha

Godsmack is one of my very favorite bands. While they sound like badass rockers from the pits of hell, they really have a softer side to them. Checkout their video of "Unforgettable" and you'll see what I mean. Love you guys!

It's The Rock in "The scorpion king" i believe (or "The mummy returns" , they're part of the same movie series: The mummy/the scorpion king)
They put on an amazing concert (or at least they used to, haven't seen them in a while)
The reason The Rock is in this video is that this song is a tie-in to the movie Scorpion King, starring The Rock. It is the last of the mainline Mummy movies and shows how Scorpion King came to be. It should definitely be on your movie watch list soon.

We all relate to and love songs for different reasons but this song by Godsmack helped me cope during a very rough time in my life. I was just recently divorced, most of my so-called friends listened to her lies, and I just changed jobs. It made me say F# everyone, I'm in this alone, but that's OK. And it was.
Their more recent stuff isn’t as good. Their last good song was “Speak” from 2006

His acting in that movie was,.. well... You gotta remember, it was his first movie, a first movie where he played the lead role.
Its not bad but, well not terrible, it is pretty bad, but for a first role, its decent good. The movie was shot in 2001, released in 2002,
his next movie was shot in 2003, so he had time to study, practice acting and in his next movie (after the scorpion king),
he is sooooo much better.

Saw Godsmack opening for Metallica in Philly back in 07...excellent live. Lead singer is as good a drummer. They had a 2 way drum off the singer won.
Godsmack was the 1st concert that I went to alone. I only knew a couple of songs. Voo doo was my favorite. It was also the 1st time seeing breaking Benjamin. I thought they were awesome.
