Welcome! Sorry it's cold. Remember, near Chicago is Doir County WI. Beautiful peninsula with nice beaches. 7 hours drive to Mall of America in MN (rollercoaster inside the nall).
Sorry its so chilly in the Northeast! It's chilly in Virginia! Today we barely hit 68! Head South. The further south you go the warmer it will be. Mostly low to mid 70''s for the week in VA. I love cream soda! I hope you get to enjoy all of your travels. We aren't masking in Virginia either. I don't know about other states but we threw them away! 😂 Safe travels! Enjoy!
Portland, Seattle, and San Francisco are Defund the police cities where violent crime is skyrocketing, and the weather is miserable, although San Francisco has some great food options with some nice restaurants. Definitely hit Fisherman's Wharf and dine at least once in Chinatown in San Fran when you're there. San Francisco, Boston, and NY are my favorite cities to eat Chinese food when I visit them. They all happen to have excellent seafood as well. I would recommend that when you're in Los Angeles, keep heading South and stay in Newport Beach. LA is a cesspool now. I grew up in Newport Beach 40 minutes south of LA, and it's a much safer, cleaner, and better place to be. LA is turning into a tent city with homeless encampments all over the city. It's really disappointing what's happened there. San Antonio and Houston are fine. Texas is a great place to visit, and you're going at a great time of year for weather. In July and August, the heat is unbearable. But right now it's great. Should be mid 80's in the day, mid 60's at night. Next, when you are driving from California to Texas, you will be driving right through Arizona and New Mexico. I'd suggest just hitting the Grand Canyon if you don't have time to stay overnight. You will get some nice photos and video there, and it's really something everyone should see at least once. Oh, and when you get to Chicago, stay on the North side of the city. Rush Street is filled with great bars, but the South side is just plain dangerous. During the summer they have about 50 shootings per weekend in Chicago. Some kids used to join the Army because they felt Iraq was safer than Chicago.
NEXT TRIP DO NOT HESITATE TO PUT DENVER OR JUST COLORADO IN GENERAL IN THOSE PLANS. THAT IS THE MOST IMPRESSIVE PLACE I'VE EVER TRAVELED TO IN THE U.S. IN MY LIFE. I'VE BEEN TO MANY STATES AND NOTHING COMPARES. I WAS STATIONED AT FORT CARSON (ARMY)SO BASICALLY, I LIVED THERE.
My hands-down favorite hotdog is the Chicago style. The Chicago dog is topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges, pickled sport peppers and a dash of celery salt.
Thanks SO MUCH for all the comments with tips and recommendations. I read them all but struggle to reply to everyone while travelling. But I appreciate you all!
Knish is a polish pastry stuffed with something usually something with potato but can be lots of things depending like fruit or meat. Up to the person making it. If you can find a good Ukrainian place eat there as like every restaurant is doing charity for the war and a portion of what they sell goes into providing help for the Ukrainians fleeing or help those still stuck there. The money goes to medical, basic, and stuff for the kids. A lot of Ukrainians made it safely to the US already and people are helping but it’s hard enough you know so try.
Im an American, born in Brooklyn and living on Long Island. I'm embarking on my own road trip to Arizona tomorrow. Road trips out west are spiritual. Wishing you a safe and enjoyable road trip.
Greetings from San Francisco. It's great to hear that you've both arrived safe and sound. WELCOME, have fun, stay safe, and hope to possibly meet you when you visit my coast.
@@shaunvlog Walk over to Ghirardelli Park and have a nice cocoa or some chocolate! When I visit SF (which isn't often enough) I love walking up & down the HILLY (and I do mean HILLY) roads! I love the historical districts, Alamo Square and the beautiful Painted Ladies victorian houses, etc, etc, etc... . @Frank Robinson you are a lucky duck!! 😊 Last time I was there was a couple years ago when a friend swam that race over to Alcatraz Island & back. What a blast that was to watch!
Knish is a pastry, usually filled with mashed potatoes but other times it might have other fillings, like minced beef. As for a hot dog, IMO, the best way is all beef frank with German style(fermented, not vinegar based) sauerkraut, caramelized onions and spicy mustard. As for cities being more dangerous, only if you get into the wrong areas of the cities. It is easy enough to do, if you do not know the area well. Sometimes a safe area is just one street over from a dangerous area. Ask the people at the hotel you stay, what areas are safe, what to avoid.
I live in Medford Oregon (along the Interstate 5 highway that you'll be driving down from Seattle to LA). We are 273 miles from Portland and one of last major larger towns before you hit the Cali border. I'll be on the look out for you! Oregon is a GORGEOUS state and the people are incredibly nice and down to earth. Portland is no longer the cool city it once was. You will see lots of problems in the down town area. Be very careful (doesn't matter if its daytime or night). Otherwise, have a fabulous time in the US and I'm looking forward to your travel vlogs!!
Don’t leave anything expensive in your car when you park anywhere in Portland. Yes you will see A LOT of homeless people and trash. Other than that though it can be very pretty. If you want to see all the waterfalls along the gorge make sure that you get a day permit.
I have only watched sixteen seconds of this, ... and I love it already. Welcome to the USA! I hope it is a wonderful visit. (We're a crazy, wonderful, blessed mess. 😀 That's my view anyway.)
Please PLEASE on your way down the west coast - you have to stop to experience the Sequoia National Park (Giant Redwoods!) It's incredible! Nothing will make you feel smaller lol
20:00. Depending on how much time that you have left after seeing Chicago, you could possibly get a cheap flight to Atlanta, Georgia (MASSIVE airport hub in America). You could probably see Nashville, TN (4 hours from Atlanta by car). Atlanta is also a direct line to many of the major cities of the Southeast. It's all up to you!! Enjoy the trip. Cheers!
I'm so happy you are finally going to explore the West Coast! Driving down Highway 1 you may want to stop & check out Point Lobos (reserved nature hiking trails) also, I'd suggest the 17-mile drive in Pebble Beach. (There is an entry gate off of Hwy 1) The West Coast is where I was born & spent half of my life there. It's going to absolutely blow your mind! Big Sur is up North and worth an exploration. Have a great time you two! I wish I could be your tour guide! ;) Colorado is where I am now and Daniel Flynn is not exaggerating about this state! Our State's nickname is "Colorful Colorado" for a reason!
There's a lot of stuff going on here in America please be careful. I'm so happy you and Teka made it back here. 4 years ago you went to Grandfather Mountain, Frazier Ridge We been friends a long time Shaun. I hope you both have a great adventure ✨️
My last holiday was in 1991, when I turned 40 in Hawaii. I am not counting 3 escapes from bushfires in 2020 , I live in Australia. I am green with envy, thank god for TH-cam and vicarious travelling. Have fun, hope you go to New Orleans...love that place.
I love knishes. They usually come filled with either potato/onion or kasha (buckwheat). Typical Eastern European Jewish food. If you haven’t tried Dr. Brown’s Black Cherry soda, I highly recommend it. I love their cream soda but I like the black Cherry just a little but more. Enjoy your trip.
I totally agree with your food choices. the best knishes are the round ones, if they still exist. What I never understood was Dr. Brown's CelRay soda, But it's Barbra Streisand's favorite.
I've mentioned in past comments that I've lived in the PNW for sometime now (over 30 years!). But I used to live on the Monterey Peninsula in California. (Hubs and I met there!) I know CA well. PLEASE do yourselves the biggest of favors and take Hwy 1 south of Monterey down the CA coast. If you have time, I'd visit the Hearst Mansion in San Clemente. You can always cut inland off Hwy 1, in a few locales. Hwy 1 will make memories for a lifetime. Just gorgeous.
Problem is, most Americans love our hot dogs. Pretty much every state has their own preferred toppings. I from the Chicago suburbs. A Chicago-style hot dog is steamed poppyseed bun with an all beef frankfurter. Topped yellow mustard, Neon relish, chopped onions, tomato wedges, a kosher pickle spear, sport peppers and a dash of celery salt. One of the the best places to get it, Portillo’s. If you ever go, you need to try the Chocolate Cake Shake. Pure heaven… welcome back by the way.
If you’re going down the west coast you should check out the Giant Coastal Redwoods and the Gigantic Sequoia Redwood Trees in Sequoia National park. Giant trees that are 2000&3000years old. And someday you otta check the beautiful fly over states that are often overlooked. Admittedly I'm biased my favorite state is my state Arkansas with small but beautiful Ozark and Ouachita mountains .
A knish is an Eastern European Jewish take on the idea of a stuffed dish with some kind of savory filling and a dough pastry. There are similar snack foods in Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. It just won't be made with lard as it would and these other countries. It's normally baked, but can be fried. I guess it's kind of like a Eastern European Cornish pasty. I'm sure there is a Scottish dish like this, but I can't think of it.
If you are driving from Houston to Chicago, check out the Uranus fudge factory in Missouri... It is a classic stop on route 66 and historical road side stop... Great fudge also....
@@shaunvlog as you're having a rest or a sit down at the hotel, look up Gabriel Iglesia's bit on his first cake shake (he's a comedian). It's short and funny.
You've got a LOT ahead of you! If you should happen to make a stop in far-northern California (Eureka or Arcata on Humboldt Bay to be exact), you will enjoy the area, and the weather will feel a bit like home before (or after) you go through hotter climates.
Yes! Hmm.. I tried creating a map from Eureka to SF on Google maps but it only shows the inland route. As far as the ocean, I've only driven from Port Arena through Jenner, (then I took the long route thru Bodega Bay... home of Alfred Hitchcock's THE BIRDS!!!! 😆) ... I've done that drive tons of times b'cas when I work on my genealogy, so many ancestors were from Cloverdale, Sebastopol, etc. & it's a quick drive over to the ocean. I hope if they drive through Sonoma County, they slip over to Guerneville to check out the redwoods at the park there! Unless you know of some better places to see them Paul? I also hope they get to see Napa and the gorgeous vineyards between Sonoma and Napa! DAYUM.. Every time I'm down there and I stop at the historical society, I ask them to check again to make sure my G-grandfather or GG grandparents didn't leave property. 🤣 No such luck.. LOL.
LOL! Every time I travel I arrive at my destination a tired mess. No matter how prepared, no matter how I schedule my flights... I am just so excited to travel that I never manage to sleep on the flight. Can't wait to see what you have planned! Enjoy yourselves! 😊
You definitely have to try the Katz Pastrami sandwich! Ask for it "juicy" and they will give you fattier slices which is the BEST! Have it with spicy mustard and swiss cheese, if you want.
The oregon coast is beautiful! I hope while you’re in the area you have time to stop east of Portland and see multnomah falls. We’re traveling to the area from Kansas next month and can’t wait!
I enjoy your videos immensely. Welcome to the US! Too many sights to see but you will have such a great experience. Every corner of this Nation has a beauty different than the next and you will be in such awe by this experience. Looking forward to seeing it through your lens. Have a great Journey!
Welcome to the USA! Happy to hear that you’re visiting Chicago! It is one of my favorite places. I lived there for a couple years. We just visited again in March. You have to try some pizza while you’re there. I’m happy to help if you need any ideas, but it sounds like you have a great resource there already, so I’m sure you’ll have a lovely time.
Glad New York gave you & Teka the proper welcome, with that gorgeous sunset! So beautiful -- Welcome back to the USA, friends!! Hope you have an absolute wonderful visit -- am so looking forward to seeing your videos of your adventures here!
The Knee High Stocking Company in Seattle is a speakeasy! And you could only be there for 2 hours and the confirm your reservations via text message! It's so cool
your drive on the West Coast is gonna be beautiful. my favorite section is between SanFran and LA. so many towns/cities and things to do in between. be sure to visit the Redwood parks near SanFran...there are nothing like the redwood trees in the world. i recommend Muir Woods.
Welcome back to the US. Those were some beautiful shots you got of the skyline!! Be sure you keep your camera equipment well hidden if you leave it in the rental car at any point. Know some TH-camrs who had theirs stolen recently while eating lunch in Atlanta. Was really sad. Enjoy and stay safe!!
So glad to see that you will be driving the PCH! If you are looking for a place to stay in Big Sur area check out Deetjen’s Inn. Really charming rooms. Also be prepared for absolutely no cell or WiFi service for certain parts of the PCH drive in Northern California.
Oh, geez, save some time for San Diego, we're south of Hell-A. Gotta see the zoo, do the Harbor tour, Old Town, the USS Midway, Coronado, Balboa Park tons of stuff to do here.
Yep airports are considered international territory and they are under different laws. Once you step on that sidewalk outside the airport then it’s state territory. It’s a minor thing that doesn’t come up very often but it’s something we know about.
Welcome back to the U.S.A.! Glad the bans have lifted and you're able to get out and about and spark up your travelogue! Really enjoy watching your travels, it's all the fun without the waiting. We're still saving up for our own trip to your neck o' th' woods!
Chicagoan who has been following both you and Laurence for a couple of years. As you were listing down the cities for your trip I thought it would stop at Houston, but then straight out of left field you mentioned Chicago! Yes!
I hate flying long distances. God bless, you're willing to put yourself through that. You arrived right into the tail end of a nor'easter storm, which is why the cold.
Manhattan is tall because the ground is limited, and extremely valuable, so... To maximize value, they build up. And, since Manhattan has an excellent stony foundation, 'up' can be very, very 'up' indeed.
I so look forward to your trip. I have never seen NYC but have always wanted to go, especially to go watch "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway. Always love to see your travel videos. Welcome again to the US. Have a blast! Love and hugs to you and your wife.
Hope you have fun in the US while you are here. I for the first time will be in the UK and Scotland at the end of June this summer and I can't wait to see what I can while I'm there!
@Shaun, there really isn't a "correct" way to eat a hot dog. You can top it anyway you like, and that makes it right. 👍 I hope you and Teka are having a fabulous time.
We’ve been having a bit of a cold snap here on the east coast. A few days ago it was 85F/30C and now it’s cold af. In general, it’s actually been a pretty warm Spring where I am.
Flying to Ireland in May, I made the big mistake of sitting by the window. It was FREEZING the whole 8 hours! That flight is grueling, for sure. Have been watching since Laurence posted and am going back to catch up. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
So glad you stayed in Brooklyn! Just a few blocks from your hotel, your fellow Scot James MacAvoy was starring in Cyrano deBergerac at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM). When you're in town again, let us know and we can see if there's a show you'd like and we can see if we can get you both some tickets!
Seriously, exploring Chicago is so much fun, but be sure and save a day for Matthiessen and Starved Rock state parks. They are glorious, and a great place for photography.
Shaun, in the less than 1 minute video you mentioned that the 2nd. park is on the Hudson River. Do you remember a very successful movie of some years back mentioning it throughout? That movie was Last of the Mohicans. Talk about urban expansion! : )) Knish is mentioned below by someone, but do you know that the world's #2 Polish city is Chicago? Yup! Second only to Warsaw.
What's up Shaun!! Hope you're doing well, I know I'm a day late and a dollor short for commenting on these videos, but I do hope you guys enjoyed your trip to the States and had a lot of fun and met some great people. Lots of numpties out there though, gotta watch out for them, but we're not a bad bunch on the whole. Come out to the desert southwest some time, during the spring or fall, if possible. Check out the Grand Canyon, float tube in the river! Safe travels to you!!
Try to get to see some of Olympic National Park (On the other side of the Puget sound in Washington State.). the rain forest is wonderful. Oh, and definitely stop by Pike Place Market.
The easiest way to SF from the NW is I-5 to Interstate 80 but a much more picturesque way I-5 is to Hwy 20 just north of Napa. Drive around Clear Lake (North America’s oldest lake) with the volcano Mt Konocti in the middle. Make your way to Hwy 101 which will take you to the Golden Gate Bridge. Before you go over stop at the US Coast Guard Station underneath the bridge. Driving in SF is very unique and stressful for tourists. Drive along the coast south of SF because the I-5 drive South of Stockton is some of the most boring driving in the states. Stop in Monterey and walk along the beach in Carmel. Caution it can be cold along the coast. May you be blessed with no wildfires interrupting your travels. California is in a significant drought, if driving through watch and smell for fire, it can change your itinerary if you have to go around it. Hope to see you in San Antonio
Damn, brother, you are going to be busy! Sounds like a blast! Looks like you're already past Portland, but that's as well, since I've been under lockdown due to Covid exposure at work. Best luck and have fun!
Welcome to America! Here in Springfield MO we have a restaurant called "London Calling" that serves gourmet Cornish pasties. That's kinda like a knish.
Welcome back to the USA Shaun! Glad you're here! Enjoyed this first episode! Here's a couple of tips for you too: Since you're going to Seattle the must visit place is Pike's Place Market - it's iconic + has a lot of really good food. Also, since you're heading closer to where I live near LA, the best hot dogs are from a place called, Pink's - also iconic. And if you're doing a meet up in LA would certainly enjoy finally meeting you and saying hello. Look forward to future episodes and to following along on your adventures! Hope you have a great, fun and safe journey across America!
Welcome back to the States, Shaun! I hope you guys have a great time. That would be awesome if you & Lawrence could meet up. Lookin’ forward to THAT video! Safe travels.
If you can, try to ride a train everywhere. Most cities have train stations at the airport. Passenger Rail is always faster than taking an Uber/Lyft, renting a car, or taking a bus. You also have many choices including Light Rail, Commuter Rail, Long Distance Passenger Rail, and a Streetcar (also called a trolley). Busses (including BRT, which is Bus Rapid Transit) are the other form of public transit and they are the next best way to travel around cities because they are quick and cheap. We don't have much High Speed Rail in America yet, but we do have 1 called Brightline in Florida. 2 other High Speed Rail lines are currently being built in other states. Besides walking, you can also rent an electric scooter, rent a bicycle, or buy a bicycle. Bikes and scooters for rent are found along sidewalks in most cities and cost about $1 per mile. They can be used on bike lanes, bike sharrows, and most trails. Lol, yeah, about the buildings... In America, we say: If you can't expand out, you expand up. 😂
You know I've kinda been away from your channel for a bit, and was like man I wonder how Shaun's doing. I'm happy you see you and your loved ones are well ❤
Hi Shaun.... welcome home man! Is there a problem with the audio, I can't here your voice and I love your wonderful videos. Maybe it's a glitch, let me know if anyone else has encountered this ... Glenn **UPDATE** I rebooted my phone & problem solved! Now I can enjoy your video 🙂
Ah man I’m gonna love this series Shaun! The nostalgia is amazing having just got back a month ago! I’ve still got some stuff to edit but the days videos are done! So gonna live thru you for the next 5 weeks
Shaun, my main idea for you: take US 101 in Northern California, and drive through "The Avenue of the Giants," (aka CA state route 254) starting in Stafford, CA and ending near Phillipsville, CA. The Avenue is of redwood trees. It parallels US 101 and if I recall correctly, used to be part of 101. And then the Drive Thru Tree near Myers Flat, south of the Avenue. A tourist trap, admittedly, but ... Muir Woods, which you've previously mentioned, is to the west of US 101, north of San Francisco. Other ideas: I believe the Olympic Rain Forest in the Olympic National Forest on the Olympic Peninsula can be accessed both by Interstate 5 (east side) and US 101 near the coast. Getting to a beach on the Pacific might not be that far, and it's lovely country. Along the Interstate 5 corridor: Perhaps Sutter's Fort in Sacramento, instrumental in the CA Gold Rush. The mill where the gold was found, at Coloma, is a bit further southeast of Sacramento. Or Crater Lake in Oregon, and Mount St. Helens in Washington; both are to the east of the I-5 corridor. Please, if I've gotten some of the geography wrong - in WA in particular, somebody who knows better please correct me for Shaun and Teka! (I'm sorry if I misspelled Teka's name; I only have time to post this, not look up the spelling and post this.) My apologies!

@@elsk8tefan lol, agree re CelRay. Haven’t seen that one in a while.
Seeing the redwoods is a dream for sure 🙌
@@shaunvlog all you need to do is visit Sacramento California. We’ve got them EVERYWHERE 😄
My aunt was from Colliston, Aberdeenshire Scotland. Spent 3 weeks there with my kids. Loved it and want to go again
So glad you’re coming to California. The drive down from Seattle to LA is amazing. You’re going to love it 🌲-->🌴💕
A knish is an Eastern European Jewish take on the idea of a stuffed dish with some kind of savory filling and a dough pastry.
If you are going to Seattle, Mt. Rainier national park is only a 2 hour road trip away and it is breathtaking.
If you're in Chicago you need to get a Chicago Dog, Italian Beef (or Chicago Beef, depending on where you go) and a Deep Dish!
And Portillo's cake shake
Omg so many great tips thanks
@@shaunvlog as you're having a rest or a sit down at the hotel, look up Gabriel Iglesia's bit on his first cake shake (he's a comedian). It's short and funny.
Yes, Giordano's in Chicago has the best deep dish pizza, in my opinion.
LOL.
Mmmmm the food! You're making me miss New York so much right now.
So many options in one city!
LOL! Every time I travel I arrive at my destination a tired mess. No matter how prepared, no matter how I schedule my flights... I am just so excited to travel that I never manage to sleep on the flight. Can't wait to see what you have planned! Enjoy yourselves! 😊
WELCOME BACK!!! 👏🏻😃
You'll find Scottish weather in Portland and Seattle! :P The drive down the California coast will be amazing. So many amazing things to see.
You definitely have to try the Katz Pastrami sandwich! Ask for it "juicy" and they will give you fattier slices which is the BEST! Have it with spicy mustard and swiss cheese, if you want.
This guy knows what’s up
The oregon coast is beautiful! I hope while you’re in the area you have time to stop east of Portland and see multnomah falls. We’re traveling to the area from Kansas next month and can’t wait!
Welcome back to America..much love from Kentucky
I enjoy your videos immensely. Welcome to the US! Too many sights to see but you will have such a great experience. Every corner of this Nation has a beauty different than the next and you will be in such awe by this experience. Looking forward to seeing it through your lens. Have a great Journey!
Just a FYI temps in the SouthWest are running 40 C so don't forget your sunscreen.
Thank you - very excited about Chicago
Glad New York gave you & Teka the proper welcome, with that gorgeous sunset! So beautiful -- Welcome back to the USA, friends!! Hope you have an absolute wonderful visit -- am so looking forward to seeing your videos of your adventures here!
OMG! The knee high stocking co. In Seattle! Everywhere in Portland and in n out in L.A.!
The Knee High Stocking Company in Seattle is a speakeasy! And you could only be there for 2 hours and the confirm your reservations via text message! It's so cool
It will be a little bit of a detour but try and go see the Sequoia National Park if you get the chance.
your drive on the West Coast is gonna be beautiful. my favorite section is between SanFran and LA. so many towns/cities and things to do in between. be sure to visit the Redwood parks near SanFran...there are nothing like the redwood trees in the world. i recommend Muir Woods.
Welcome back to the states Shaun!
Welcome back to the US! That's a pretty ambitious itinerary for 5 weeks !
Thank you very much
I’m here for your American adventure! I live in Houston and I hope you have a wonderful time when you visit 🇺🇸
Chicagoan who has been following both you and Laurence for a couple of years. As you were listing down the cities for your trip I thought it would stop at Houston, but then straight out of left field you mentioned Chicago! Yes!
I couldn’t leave Chicago out 😊
It will be quite hot weather in Texas.
Take Highway 101 down the west coast or you're missing the scenery. You should be able to clip Nashville on the way to Chicago.
My daughter fell in love with Irn Bru when she was in Glasgow; it's very hard to get the pure quill here in the States.
YAY 🤩
Freedom! 🇺🇸
Welcome back Shaun and Teka !
Enjoy your visit! 🌭🌭🌭
Be safe.
Heard the Big Apple is scary.
Welcome to Brooklyn!! Be safe in your travels across America.
I hope you can give Artichoke Basille's , artichoke pizza a try while in New York! It's deliciously creamy!
It just amazes me how well you know NY better than people in NJ, CT, Pa and the rest of America!!
@Shaun, there really isn't a "correct" way to eat a hot dog. You can top it anyway you like, and that makes it right. 👍
I hope you and Teka are having a fabulous time.
Try to get to Austin while In Texas. You’ll enjoy it. Very different than the rest of Texas. About 2.5 hours drive from Houston
We’ve been having a bit of a cold snap here on the east coast. A few days ago it was 85F/30C and now it’s cold af. In general, it’s actually been a pretty warm Spring where I am.
Welcome my friend to America. Get out of NYC and see our country.
Welcome back brother to the land of opportunity, you should visit Grand Rapids, Michigan next.
Knish is mentioned below by someone, but do you know that the world's #2 Polish city is Chicago?
Welcome to the USA! I’m so excited for you both. Can’t wait for your videos. Have fun and be careful.
Thank you very much
You caught a lovely Spring sunset in our fair city. Glad you love my home.
Deepest canyon above sea level, Hells Canyon, Idaho.jet boat trips up and down to the face of Hells Canyon Dam across the Snake River.
Ohhh, how nice!
I like Springfield MO, but a Cornish pasty and a knich are only distant relatives. Both handheld and good though!
Welcome to America! 🇺🇸 we had a chilly spring! Enjoy! Safe Travels. 🙏🏻
Thank you very much Zen - I’m very much up for meeting in LA. Send me a message 👍
Please consider coming to Cleveland, Ohio. Glad you guys arrived safely.
Welcome back to the States, Shaun! I hope you guys have a great time. That would be awesome if you & Lawrence could meet up. Lookin’ forward to THAT video! Safe travels.
Yay! Teka is with you! please give her a hug from me! Great video, Shaun!
Please come to Minnesota! So much to see and do inside! Arts, culture, theater, fabulous food. The North shore, north of Lake Superior is amazing!
Glenn
**UPDATE** I rebooted my phone & problem solved!
Now I can enjoy your video 🙂
Ah man I’m gonna love this series Shaun! The nostalgia is amazing having just got back a month ago! I’ve still got some stuff to edit but the days videos are done! So gonna live thru you for the next 5 weeks

Welcome back, Shaun! Maybe next time you'll get The Bluegrass State! Wishing you well in your journeys! 🇺🇲🏴
All right, now we're rocking & rolling again
12:29 You two are glowing with happiness !:-)
💜🙏⚡️
Along the Interstate 5 corridor:
Perhaps Sutter's Fort in Sacramento, instrumental in the CA Gold Rush.
WHAT FUN ! What I hated most about the covid was NOT traveling ☹️. Excited to follow you around ,,, San Antonio is FUN ! Cheers!
A knish is mashed potatoes with some coating on it, then deep fried. Put salt on it!
Welcome back to the states!
