I have to tell...my wife found Junior's cheesecake recipe online. She made it and we did a blind taste-test with my then roommate from Brooklyn. Hi, Shaun! I’m enjoying your videos, especially your travel videos. Just an FYI, Junior’s has produced cookbooks which are available online (Amazon). I’ve made cheesecake from these cookbooks and they were seriously delicious (especially the Cappuccino Cheesecake - tastes like Tiramisu). It’s not too difficult to make. You could make the Junior’s cheesecake from one of their cookbooks and get the Philippino cheesecake from the restaurant in London, then do your side by side taste test. Another famous cheesecake is the Japanese cheesecake, which is supposed to be lighter and fluffier than your standard American cheesecake (it jiggles). Hope this helps you determine which cheesecake is the best. Also a common thing to do is request a to-go box when you get your order and put half of it into the box before you start eating. This will help keep you from overeating with the large portions restaurants like to serve. The other is to get one order and request an additional plate so you can split the order with another person. Most restaurants are pretty good about accommodating people like that. So don’t be shy and ask. Enjoy the food with less guilt.😋

Shaun!!! When in the States eat your burgers with your hands, not like a European with knife and fork! Like the saying says when in Rome do as the Romans do, or like is expected when an American visits Europe we have to eat your food your way. It's not just about the flavor but the experience, no matter how sloppy it is to eat you have to eat it with both buns put together after you've put your condiments on. The only reason it's open is not for eating with knife and fork but so that you can put your condiments on and then close the bun, that's why there's two buns! I went on a free tour of the plant and really in the whole plant and everyone on the tour received a free 8” cheesecake. There is also a gift shop where anyone can visit and buy (for example I bought a delicious restaurant size key lime pie for $18) their merchandise. Be it cupcakes be it layer cakes be it pies. They sell to restaurants etc. not sure if things have changed since Covid. Nice to see your videos always! Stay safe and have fun! I’m living vicariously through you and your wife’s adventures!
