Leprous - The Sky is Red - Drum Cover by Sam Bowles

This has been quite an undertaking to learn, but I feel happy (and relieved) with the final take. This version takes a few of the fills and ideas from both the release and Baard's cover video. I have found the challenge in doing this justice is pretty much what's baked into Baard's style, weird and cool things nobody else thinks about, often improvised even further live.
The kit is an Alesis Strike Pro, with ATV, Roland and Lemon cymbals. I use eDrumin modules and VST to achieve the sound, and hopefully it's quite close to the original.
There are always challenges using an ekit, so the only edits made to this take are when something eDrum related got in the way, like not registering a hat foot splash. Had a couple of annoying camera sync issues, and so there are a couple of clips from other takes used in the final edit.
