I'm just here for that great old familiar hi-hat trigger demo rudiment riff :) . Whatever Vater pays you, it's not enough--you're supplying the guitarists of the world with all the free backing tracks they could ever want!
These look great!! Well done Gewa! Of course it’s always lovely to hear Ralph play. Btw your band, Beautiful Machines make some of the freshest sounding tunes I’ve heard of late. I watched a bunch of videos of you guys at a festival. Really loving the sound. The world needs more great music like that, imho of course.
@@digitaldrumming I really hope you can do a video with it! It’s been rather annoying not to really see them use any groove-oriented drummers like you in their promos for it or any other videos
@@djashjones the neos are available already, haven’t tested them on a Roland module yet but they’re very nice on the gewa. The Roland’s are nice too, would be best to compare them side by side for yourself so you can see what you prefer. Kind regards
@@Crusuma Different 😄 difficult to make a direct comparison really, as there are so many subjective factors. However, these new gewa cymbals are a big upgrade from the previous generation, ultimately you should try to demo kits of all 3 manufacturers for yourself to get some impressions for triggering & playing feel especially. Kind regards!
Thank you Ralf for the playing! (don't you know if they are possibly considering switching to 3-trigger design in their shells, too?) It would make this a no-question alternative to Roland possibly. It also seems that they improved the module sounds by no small margin, and also I hope (it seems like) it triggers better, too. What do you think, have they improved?

@@LeviathanDW87 Yeah me too 😄 let’s see what‘ll work out with DWe! ✌️

NASTY AWESOME AS USUAL :D
@@neurocosm Thanks dude! ✌️🕺🏻
How to these compare to the Roland thin cymbal's when crashing? Worth changing when they are released?

@@digitaldrumming Cheers, Ralph.
what is the best acoustic looking electronic drum kit brand you can get for a reasonable price? Gewa or others?
How do you like it, compared to Roland and Efnote?
