I suppose that after 5 months you found a way, but i'll give a solution for others in present and for the future. 1st way: Open command prompt and type exactly the same (no quotes, no changes, no extra spaces): "wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer, version, serialnumber", then press enter. 2nd way: Press simultaneously Windows key + R and then type (no quotes): "msinfo32" and hit Enter or click OK. Find an item on the list that says ‘MotherBoard’ or ‘Baseboard’. There should be 3 items - BaseBoard Model, BaseBoard Manufacturer, and Baseboard Name. 3rd way: Open ‘Run’ (Windows key + R). Type (no quotes) "dxdiag". Press Enter. When the window appears, check if it’s on the System tab. Find ‘System Model’ and copy or rewrite it. Paste this into a search engine of your choice to research your motherboard components. I think thats enough. P.S. 2nd way gives all the system information about the machine.
If you guys have a "!" sign next to your high definition audio bus in the Device manager window, this worked for me: Update drivers, chose manually, ask windows to propose usuable drivers and take the second one for both of the audio bus drivers. Magic!

even tho i dont have that bit in control panel, i had a weird echo when i plugged in my headset, sounded like people were in a cave. i figured it was a driver issue so i searched around for a driver and this was the place that got me the correct one. all i had was something like "realtek audio" no high definition but once i did the search for updates thing and then select from my computer and then selected the high def option, the echo immediately disappeared! thanks for the help! ive learned something new!

Hello Britec09 i would like to thank you so much because you solved my problem. i just update my driver and it works after that i really appreciated you time and effort to make easy and useful videos 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Thanks. I used Search Automatically to update the driver and this worked just fine. If I choose "Browse My Computer: it gave a warning that iit can't gurantee it's the right driver. Bys using the first method I am also assured I'm getting the most current driver and software.
Worked great for me...now I can get the audio manager to open. Went to the Dell site and had it detect my PC and there was a new update dated today. Thanks for sharing!
I don't get this. The issue at hand is that we DON'T have the Realtek Audio Manager...so I don't have any Realtek option in my Device Manager. But everything in this video is based on clicking a Realtek reference in Device Manager. ??
They do not know the answer. We want the interface and start menu option that should be uploaded. The problem is that it seems to be separate. A driver is not an interface. What bunch of divs. And you notice they do no dare delete the software because they know they will need to reboot WINDOWS from scratch and that will delete other things.
Finally fixed it! After a ton of videos and no luck I seen a suggestion to do the following: Go to command prompt and type wmic baseboard get product Then use the model number and search Google with that. (Mine was MS-7976 - Which is a MSI Z170A MB) The search brought up a lot but I went to the one linked to "Drivers Scape" I scrolled down to the Audio section and downloaded the x64 version. Now the driver is old (2015) but bam... HD Audio Manager is back in toolbar etc.. and working.
Did everything here and more from online advice. Uninstalled, reinstalled, different drivers, restarted, shut down and on. The only thing i can say is Realtek doesn’t show up on control panel and my High Definition Audio Controller has a Code 10 error and so does Realtek Audio in Device manager.
Also to add, I am using standard split channel headphones for mic and headphones. The only things that show up in my playback are HDMI audio from the Nvidia Card.
Thank you! The very last step is really what I needed. Listen closely everyone, don't rely on windows search/cortana to find programs!! This whole time I was convinced I didn't have it installed but sure enough it was there once I went into program files
Thank you!!!! After 5 days a 2 years old Video fixed my Problems that i got at the 12 march 2020 after a windows update. KB4551762 just rip my pc Sound, mic and more, the problem was RAVBg64.exe 30% CPU usage.... ooooof finally thank you !!!
It did work for me. in my device manager, I had no realtek too at first I had to install my motherboard realtek driver on asus website found it in driver and tool/audio/ realtek driver than a realtek HD audio appear in my device manager. my RtkNGUI64 in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA is now working
The step with updating the driver to "realtek high definition audio" actually helped me to resolve the audio&video sync issue. Both windows 10 and realtek driver installation software installed the wrong driver, which was not the "realtek high definition audio". After I updated the driver the sync problem went away for good. Make sure to choose the path to your latest driver path though.
Note that with newer versions of the Realtek audio drivers, the RealTek audio manager may have been renamed "Realtek Audio Console". Search your start menu for such a program and try running it.
Mine's just disappeared after installing the latest version from aorus.. and I can't see it in the windows store to download either.. sigh. You really need this app to correctly detect socket insert/removal on the fly.
Thanks Brian :-D Yep realtek is common for quite a few machines, when it behaves itself it's fine :-) I have tryed all sorts to make it work, i first try a registry rollback, often works, but if not its registry editing to remove entrys and file deleting to force the o.s to want an external driver. A bit nasty but i've had to do it :)
I have currently Upgraded my main board. And ever since certain programs and games need to be told in the settings which to use. It's a pain, my old board audio driver had no issues.
loved this video m8, thanks for the fix. in my case realtek just got disabled for some reason after i restarted my pc, i fixed it by activating it on device manager.

Excellent! Can confirm that your video has resolved my driver issue :D
The issue I was having, was Realtek only recognising my speakers and not my headphones. Tried reinstalling the drivers from their website to no avail.
Thanks a million. I really appreciate your help!

Okay boys I figures it out re download the driver

Friend ...hi ... I have a problem ...I reinstalled my Windows 10 but now I can't make my Front Audio Jack WOrking also when I install ANY (Any I mean the latest driver and the recommended for my motherboard too) In control Panel I can see the Realtek HD Audio Driver but in the Device Manager on the SOUND DEVICES there isn't anything about this Realtek Driver so I can't make my front jack working ...
I got the same problem. I also reinstalled and then front audio gone.
I've fixed it ... If the relatek driver not work for you ... go find an 64 bit version of HD VIA Audio Driver ...It worked for me !
I'll try it, thanks.

I go to device manager and Realtek isn't there.
Same here. Just I don't have the "realtek high definition sound" driver. Doesn't exist in the section. ¿How I can fix it?
@@adryanrex Funny thing is: I HAVE realtek sound drivers

@@dukequach9641 So your issue is that your unable to see what motherboard you have?
Magic!
None of the methods worked for me, and i found the simple method. I installed Realtek drivers R2.81 instead of R2.82. I running Windows 10 1809. R2.81 working perfectly fine for me. I using the Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 motherboard. In R2.81 Audio Manager working normaly. Sorry for my english 😀
even tho i dont have that bit in control panel, i had a weird echo when i plugged in my headset, sounded like people were in a cave. i figured it was a driver issue so i searched around for a driver and this was the place that got me the correct one. all i had was something like "realtek audio" no high definition but once i did the search for updates thing and then select from my computer and then selected the high def option, the echo immediately disappeared! thanks for the help! ive learned something new!
In the device manager, realtek hd audio manager is not showing up. How do I fix. Thank You!
the windows update catalog helped me thx earned a like

What if Realtek isn’t even an option in the control panel

when i went to device manager and did what you showed on updating drivers, it worked. thank you Britec09
Very useful information, well done Brian.
Thanks Terry
the first option fixed my issue that i hear audio just from one speaker now i hear audio from 2 speakers :D Thanks britec
Ahh realtek I forgot about them since the Windows XP days, brings a tear to my eye.
lol they have been around for a while.
Hey, I accidentally deleted the pop up to switch from speakers to headphones with task manager, and now it won't show up. What do I do because now I can't use my headphones.
don't worry I fixed the problem a while back. (Killing my PC isn't that bad of an idea though.)
Memes Are KEEM : No more PC, no more security issues(Intel IMEI), popup, spying 👀, fake virtual social media world etc., 🌚
how did you fixed it?
I'm still working on this, but like this video. I started with another one by a lad in Mumbai who I couldn't understand at all. I could follow this one and make notes. Thanks for the help.
I have de files program files but when i run it nothing happens
Same with my computer
Hello Britec09 i would like to thank you so much because you solved my problem. i just update my driver and it works after that i really appreciated you time and effort to make easy and useful videos 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
WHAT IF I DONT HAVE REALTEK COMPLETELY
I'm having the same issue.
same its just missing and if i try to download it i have error messages! im about to throw my computer out a damn window no one can help
then install realtek
@@spenetrate oh man I bet they havent thought of doing that
Download it
Thanks. I used Search Automatically to update the driver and this worked just fine. If I choose "Browse My Computer: it gave a warning that iit can't gurantee it's the right driver. Bys using the first method I am also assured I'm getting the most current driver and software.
My realtek drivers doesnt even pop up in my device manager and I have installed them multiple times
did u fix it tho?
After a ton of videos and no luck I seen a suggestion to do the following:
Go to command prompt and type wmic baseboard get product
Then use the model number and search Google with that. (Mine was MS-7976 - Which is a MSI Z170A MB)
The search brought up a lot but I went to the one linked to "Drivers Scape"
I scrolled down to the Audio section and downloaded the x64 version.
KB4551762 just rip my pc Sound, mic and more, the problem was RAVBg64.exe 30% CPU usage.... ooooof finally thank you !!!

same thing here. Did it work for u?
It did work for me.
in my device manager, I had no realtek too at first
I had to install my motherboard realtek driver on asus website

my RtkNGUI64 in C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA is now working
@@mathieuf9209 I click on RtkNGUI64 and nothing happens. I even run it as admin and nothing happens... Can u help me?
The step with updating the driver to "realtek high definition audio" actually helped me to resolve the audio&video sync issue. Both windows 10 and realtek driver installation software installed the wrong driver, which was not the "realtek high definition audio". After I updated the driver the sync problem went away for good.
Make sure to choose the path to your latest driver path though.
My audio is stuck as mono not stereo.. Need help
Just fixed mine from the manufacturer website, thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!
One of the best instructional videos I've ever seen, on any subject and I watch a lot of them. Thank you, hats off to you!
Note that with newer versions of the Realtek audio drivers, the RealTek audio manager may have been renamed "Realtek Audio Console". Search your start menu for such a program and try running it.
I found none on my search. 😢
Mine's just disappeared after installing the latest version from aorus.. and I can't see it in the windows store to download either.. sigh. You really need this app to correctly detect socket insert/removal on the fly.
top man being trying to fix this for ages working now thanks
So the big important step of installing the cab files is missing from this video.
RealTek should pay You for this, Great my problems solved
Thanks Brian :-D
Yep realtek is common for quite a few machines, when it behaves itself it's fine :-)
I have tryed all sorts to make it work, i first try a registry rollback, often works, but if not its registry editing to remove entrys and file deleting to force the o.s to want an external driver.
A bit nasty but i've had to do it :)
it don't play well with Windows 10 for some reason
Well, who am i to say that 10 is crap ha ha :-D
Sorry Brian, i could not resist :-D Joking as allways :-D

LimsonDestroyer same problem here, none of the .exe files in my HDA folder work. You ever get it resolved?
Ronan M I found another way instead of using Realtek.
Ronan M If you’re trying have audio in your headphones, but you could also hear your friends voice (like skype), then follow these steps:
1. Go to Device Manager
2. Find your system sound driver
3. Right click, then update driver
4. Click browse my computer for driver software
5. Click pick from a list
6. Choose “High Definition Audio Device”
7. Click yes
8. Restart computer (if needed)
"High Definition Audio Device" does not appear
thank you so much Dude! u saved me.
