This vs NB super comp trainer/rebel v3 vs Nike invincible run2/3 vs NB more v4 ? And or rank them best to worst in overall comfort and softness/squish?
@@huhSHUA I love the extra support the Glycerin 20 GTR offers compared to my Rebel v3. Rebels are the comfiest shoes I've ever worn but when my feet are sore, tired, and/or achy I always grab the Brooks.
I got these yesterday and wore them today and HOLY $H!T are these things comfy. I wore them for 8hrs outside in a hot ass parking lot in 85F weather and my feet weren't sweaty at the end of the day and my feet weren't tired. These are more comfy the any Ultraboost, React, Zoom or ZoomX sneaker I've worn. I am extremely impressed with them. The only thing is I would say they run a tiny bit big, I wear a size 12, got a size 12 and they fit more like a size 12.5
Finally I got my Nimbus 25 today 😍😍 I already have the more v3, SC trainer, Novablast-3, invincible 1&2 and rebel v2 all after your recommendations Hes Kicks. I can simply summarize my experience with all these, The Nimbus 25 is a great all around shoe for walking (very soft, responsive but not too much) while the Novablast 3 is better for running cause it's lighter and more responsive although it has the same ffblast+ cushioning as the Nimbus 25 and is also excellent for walking. The more v3 (I don't have V4) is soft but not as the Nimbus 25 and not responsive at all. Invincible is both soft and very responsive Rebel is ultra soft and can be used mainly for racing cause it's super light not for slow and casual runs (at least for me) SC trainer is amazing all around, casually, slow runs, tempo runs everything really. Only one thing doesn't make it for everyday use, the plate. Now after trying out the Nimbus 25, for myself if I'm gonna run even casually I prefer the Novablast-3 then comes the SC trainer then Nimbus 25 and Invincible followed by the others. For walking rebel v2 is the softest and lightest and Nimbus, invincible, novablast are all excellent for that. Hope this helps anyone and sorry for making it long.
Thank you for this, I have Novablast 2 (after comparing it before with Invicible 2, Nimbus 24, Rebel v2) since mid last year as my daily usage, and looking for an upgrade in mid 2023 Probably will try Novablast 3 vs Nimbus 25
Love your videos and the fact you distant from everyone else out there which are talking & reviewing only from running perspective like all planet 🌎 is always on run and everyone is outside every single day 24/7 to run True most people are average and running twice a year
I'm also a casual wearer, got the black colorway and this is the one that keeps me away from Invincible Run 3, and boy this worth every penny. I've owned Ultra Boosts and Invincible Runs but the bouncy feeling of Nimbus 25 when you walk on it is out of this world. Love it to the max! Yeah, pls make comparison with especially Invincible 3.
@@tym2getbizeee I have wide feet too, and I got mine half size up, because the heel pad is a bit on the thicker side, so it pushes your feet slightly forward.
I returned my Nike Invincible 3s and bought these instead. I thought the Asics Gel Nimbus 25 was the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The upper on the Nimbus is so much superior to the Invincible, comfort-wise.
I envisioned this, and just brought the ASICS Nimbus 25, but its definetely relieving to hear this from you. I was worried the NIKES would be better. That said the NIKE Inv. 3 does not look like a shoe that could cross the gap from a deicated runninf shoe to lifestyle. The Nimbus 25 does. Thanks.
As usual you're the best in reviewing shoes from casual perspective which is the way most people use shoes. Please make the comparison video between Nimbus 25, Invincible 3, SC trainer, More v4, & Novablast-3 that would be a very interesting video Keep it up bro 👌
4:35 they are too small for you, yout big toe is right up the toe bumper when there ment to be a thumbs width away. so go up half a size and get the wide or extrawide version, then the midsole wont bottom out as much ;)
Just bought the new Nimbus 25 to replace my Nimbus 14, yes 14, not 24 XD。 Huge upgrade, great for easy run. I may even consider using it for a half marathon.
i have these in extra wide, just wore them home, so 1.5miles/2.5km while carrying about 5kg shopping and they are crazy good, ultra soft at the contact point then firms up a bit as it takes your weight, theyre great BUT i doubt you could go super hard and fast in them, the toebox is NARROW so i had to def get the extra wide version instead of just the wide, so if you need big toe space, make sure you get the wide ones or go half a size up,
These just came out I loved them so much I just ordered my 3rd pair.I use them for casual wear and these are the best max cushion with bounce I’ve ever had😅
I already have the more v3, SC trainer, Novablast-3, invincible 1&2 and rebel v2 all after your recommendations Hes Kicks. As usual you're the best in reviewing shoes from casual perspective which is the way most people use shoes.
Love to a series of videos talking about the cushioning of different brands, best of Adidas, ASICS, Diadora, Nike, Hoka etc and then the best ones go head to head with each other to be the best of the best.
While that is convenient, I'd be appreciating the forefoot cushioning alot more, if I were you. If you value your knees, ankles and want to stay athritic free, which most aren't. This is just a fact, few voice.
Compare all max cushions. I really liked your review when you went to Disneyland and gave your experience on different shoes on how they feel when you stand and walk for too long. Also maybe you can add the best max cushioned shoes for flat footed.
My foot is 83.35 mm wide, 262.95 mm long, 81.66 mm from the ground to the bridge of the foot. I bought the Nimbus 25 4E( Extra-Wide) size 11.5 US and it's smaller than my Adidas TR21 Wide size 11.5 US. The nimbus 25 midsole is bulkier(thicker) but shorter and narrow compared to the Adidas TR21 Wide. When I wear the Adidas TR21 Wide, my feet still have few mm space left in both the length and width, but the Nimbus 25 extra-cushioning doesn't leave me any width but just half of the few mm space left in the Adidas. My Pegasus 10.5 US Wide gives me the same tight feeling as the Nimbus 25. If any of you wear Wide Nikes or Adidas and want to buy the Nimbus 25 without trying it, I'd say buy the Extra-Wide(4E) Nimbus-25 and go half size up.
Picked up a pair last week for running. Not as bouncy as the invincible runs but a smooth ride for me. Definitely agree about that material in the heel!
I bought Asics Nimbus 24 last year on April. I did not use it for running as i got a knee pain. I got other running shoes too so i did not put the shoe everyday. But, the outsole of Nimbus 24 is looking very terrible now. Nimbus 25 got more cushion and i think lines and crack look alike will soon appear within a few months
78 years old and I only want comfortable walking shoes in addition to an exercise walk for 30 to 40 minutes per day and these are the ones I like. Like them so much I bought another pair exactly the same but the color is different.
From what I am hearing FFBlast+ has proven to be a lot more resilient than Adidas's Boost, which felt extremely unstable to me when I tried it a few years ago. When you weigh up comfort, quality and longivity, the ASICS Nimbus 25 is hard to beat and a real bargain at the present time.
Tried the invincible 3, currently running the 2s. They completely messed up the upper for my foot, major heel slip and I honestly just don't like how it feels. Put this on my feet and this is definitely my favorite of the 2. Maybe not quite like the invincible 2s but I honestly like how they're slightly firmer
Yes please on the comparisons! Been watching all your videos which help me get a real life look at shoes and narrow down some choices - I tried the 880v12/ found them too rigid, tried the fuel cell rebel v3 might just be my version but the structure in the toe was incomplete/ uncomfortable I’m going to try this ASICS gel nimbus 25 the NB more v4 a 1080 and maybe a Nike Pegasus turbo next nature so keep the review and comparions coming. Might try something the the NB propel v4 or that supercomp. The hunt continues!
Shoe is comfy no doubt. However in my normal size that I always buy nimbus in 9.5 these slip in the heel. They have a little less padding in heel. So try them on first.
Would love to see a big max cushion comparison! I’ve been into the Invincibles for so long, so it’s be great to see how they compare to other alternatives.
Purchased for the gym after the 26s were released. Finally decided to try as my walking sneakers on vacation & it made me realize that wearing my J's or other kicks is overrated on Vaca.
Been wearing them for 2 weeks and I’m very happy w them. I did try on the invince. 3 and they are also pretty good too but I like the look of these more. Doesn’t mean I’m not back on the hunt for something all white now lol.
My main issue with the 24 is the tightness in the toe, and tounge was un bearable in the same width, so last year, I had to re buy my 23's...I really hope they fix this on the 25's
I just ordered a pair of the Gel Nimbus 25s yesterday. In the Platinum colour way. I can't wait to get them 🙂 Asics has been quietly flying under the radar while releasing 🔥🔥🔥
Have the all grey and yesterday got the black white bottom in WIDE and even better Usually your sizing recommendations are pretty in line with my foot shape Love the inner lining
Hes-please start including the foam durometer info in your videos for highly cushioned sneakers. Haven't seen u use it in a while. Would love to know density on these compared to zoomx or fuelcell. Thanks
Because all of these companies are creating more max cushion with foam, a comparison video is needed. Since they are changing some old models into this.
I saw from one of your videos that you finally picked up running as a sport. Perhaps you can do a collab with the running channels. They'd help you 100% with tips on how to improve your PR. I recall running warehouse invited you to do some runs with them
How would you compare the Nimbus 25 to the Aurora-BL? Unfortunately I can’t test the Aurora on my feet since it’s not available in my country but I can order it, so…I would appreciate your input. Thanks!
Great review as allways, i also have the 24s, and 25s, plus the Nike Invincible 2 fLk, and love all 3 and their differences., they are so different that its worth having all 3.
Saucony Triumph 20 crushes these in my opinion. They perfectly balance the squish vs responsiveness. Also the triumphs look way better and have a ton of color ways.

PLEASE PLEASE do a comparison between these and the New Balance More V4 X as me and my girlfriend are deciding our next new Max Cushioning shoes and we have the New Balance More V4 now 👍👍😁
The gel nimbus was always the max cushion/premium shoe for as long as I remember. It was supposed to be the best of Asics but with the old technologies that stayed with the shoe, it didn't feel as good as others. I mean you could've just done some research but that's basically the brunt end of it. If people were wearing these that a firmer shoe should be used for, then they're using them wrong and could've gone with a better priced and better situated shoe
Hes can you, before you do your Max Cushion comparison, do a review on the Saucony Triumph 20, so then you can add those to the mix as well, I nearly bought the Nimbus 25 today, damn surprised me how comfy they were, but got told the Saucony Triumph 20's were even better, I rely on your great wisdom ;-)
It seems like the gel technology is more of a marketing technology, similar to nike air. With the huge advance in foams technology, I don't really see the point in that. It is pretty cool when it's visual though
only guy that cares about the average guy who wants a review from a strictly comfort point of view! great work and yes still wearing my nb sct and soft a squishy as ever.. would like to see a direct comparison from Asics to the nb sct, thank you.
@Hes Kicks Thanks for a great video! I have a question...if you would choose between New balance 1080 x, gel nimbus 25 or the New balance fuel cell..which one of those 3 would you choose? only for walking and daily not running.
@@rygaros6669 it's not recommended because it's literally only for running, the carbon fiber plate, the toe spring, the height. It's all for performance and only that. The geometry will screw you over in the long run
I've just grabbed a pair of Gel-Nimbus 25 to replace my aging (and thoroughly beat up) Invincible Run. These were the only other shoe that gave even close to the same feeling.
I have these and the SuperComp Trainers and I like the Nimbus 25 a little more because they are way more versatile and stable. They give great amount of cushion along with an overall better shoe that can do everything. For just cushion, the SC trainer is the best, but overall I put the Nimbus slightly ahead of it because it's definitely more stable and more versatile
@@bobgibson1303 If you prefer shoes that do not make you feel like you're on marshmallows, the SC trainer probably isn't for you. lol But I agree somewhat, as everything is preference
@@bluemangroup_1828 Yeah running shoes are very subjective. In my opinion, these 2 are the best max cushion shoes out right now. Best thing to do is to go to a local running shop and try on every shoe and decide what you prefer
About to retire my novablast 3's (fantastic work through countless hours worked, boys 🥺). Do you suggest these over the Novablasts, or should I grab a new pair of the Novablasts?
Novablasts are literally the best shoes to run in & work, but for the price point, if you want soft go for these but the novablasts are just that tried & true shoe for 3 generations
Damn, this looks like the perfect comfort shoe. For all day walking (Disneyland, 12 hr hospital shifts) how does it compare to: • Adidas 4DFWD 2 • Brooks Glycerin 20 • APL Streamline • Saucony Tempus • Vongo V5 • Skechers Max Road 5 • Clifton 9
Brooks - Their "max cushion" but for some reason Brooks likes to make their shoes firmer than most, even if the DNA Loft is meant to be the softest formula. Saucony - Tempus is a STABILITY shoe so unless you need it because you overpronate/supinate, then I wouldn't recommend it unless you for some reason like the feel. Skechers - Not too knowledgeable on Skechers but I've heard that the shoe is decent if you're not going to use it for speed days Hoka - the Clifton's are tried & true but tbh idk why you picked one that barely released so I would wait for those reviews, but I will see try to go as far back as the 7s because imo the 8s were just a little much with weight.
@@altoes8884Thanks! I tried on Clifton 9 and hated the rocker feel; so unnatural. But I liked the Nimbus 25 for the 10 ft I walked in it, just seemed "slow," like I had to raise my feet with more effort. Excellent cushioning. I do need stability. The Puma Forever Run Nitro and Skechers Ride 11 seem the most interesting for a stability shoe. The Vongo V6 is slated for 11/2023 release but looks innovative.

How was the running experience in the 25s the soles look really thin and not much traction
Yes compare nimbus and invincible 3 please
I’d like to see a comparison video to, but also include the Hoka Bondi 8 trainers
can you review the deviate nitro elite 2? looks really comfortable for casual day to day use
Please review the Gel-Cumulus 25. Cheers.
Invicible 3 or nimbus 25?
only guy that cares about the average guy who wants a review from a strictly comfort point of view! great work and yes still wearing my nb sct and soft a squishy as ever.. would like to see a direct comparison from Asics to the nb sct, thank you.
Fresh foams
Hope you cover kayano 30 too!
How does this compare to the hoka’s?
@Hes Kicks Thanks for a great video! I have a question...if you would choose between New balance 1080 x, gel nimbus 25 or the New balance fuel cell..which one of those 3 would you choose? only for walking and daily not running.
Don't go Fuelcell, especially the SC line. Just stick with fresh foam/nimbus
@@altoes8884 its the Fuel Cell Comp Trainer V1, are they also not good or?
@@rygaros6669 it's not recommended because it's literally only for running, the carbon fiber plate, the toe spring, the height. It's all for performance and only that. The geometry will screw you over in the long run
@@altoes8884 Alright, thanks man..i just ordered the nimbus 25 to compare them with 1080 fresh foam x :)
@@rygaros6669 let us know the comparison between Nimbus 25 and New Balance 1080 v12 once you receive it. Thanks!
Please do the cushion comparison!!
Please do a comparison between Nimbus 25 and Nike Invincible 3.
If u see this sry its late but can u compare it to the nova blast 3
Please do a comparison between fuelcell rebel v3, invincible run 3 and gel nimbus 25
Ultraboost 23 light boost review plz bro
I've just grabbed a pair of Gel-Nimbus 25 to replace my aging (and thoroughly beat up) Invincible Run.
These were the only other shoe that gave even close to the same feeling.
Compare the fuel cell and nimbus 25 please, I'm trying to pick
shoot both so good, will work on that though!
Check put the Cumulus 25, it’s closer to the previous Nimbus
How does it compare to the fuel cell tech? Is it a tie?
From what it looks like (don't @ me) Fuel Cell is still better, and by a lot
N.B should make a high stack fuelcell shoe (like 40mm not as high as the SC trainer) but without a plate to get the best feeling of the soft fuelcell.
@@bobgibson1303 If you prefer shoes that do not make you feel like you're on marshmallows, the SC trainer probably isn't for you. lol
But I agree somewhat, as everything is preference
Nimbus 25 vs Ultraboost Light?
Damn, this looks like the perfect comfort shoe.
For all day walking (Disneyland, 12 hr hospital shifts) how does it compare to:
• Adidas 4DFWD 2
• Brooks Glycerin 20
• APL Streamline
• Saucony Tempus
• Vongo V5
• Skechers Max Road 5
• Clifton 9
Brooks - Their "max cushion" but for some reason Brooks likes to make their shoes firmer than most, even if the DNA Loft is meant to be the softest formula.
Saucony - Tempus is a STABILITY shoe so unless you need it because you overpronate/supinate, then I wouldn't recommend it unless you for some reason like the feel.
Skechers - Not too knowledgeable on Skechers but I've heard that the shoe is decent if you're not going to use it for speed days
Hoka - the Clifton's are tried & true but tbh idk why you picked one that barely released so I would wait for those reviews, but I will see try to go as far back as the 7s because imo the 8s were just a little much with weight.
I have wide feet and was looking to get these in all black for work. Can anyone else with wide feet confirm if I can go true to size or size up a half size. Thanks 🤙🏼
TTS?
Looking for a new pair of shoes for work. I was deciding between more v4, bondi 8 and now this. Thoughts? which one do you like better?
I liked more the 1080 v12 than the More v4. More room and softer upper
Hoka Bondi by a mile.
@@DV1979 thanks I have 1080v12, but the sock liners fell apart within weeks. Main reason I’m looking to get a new pair. Can’t deny tho I’ve been super happy with the comfort.
@@maitrehg thanks will take into consideration, they released a new Clifton model recently maybe the bondi is up next!
@Reef what did you buy? Try also the Saucony endorphin shift 3, I liked more than Asics Nimbus 23 and 24
Comparison vid plz
Hey! Anyone can tell me how the sizing is on this?
How does it compare to the Novablast 3 sizing wise?
