I don't have a 392 Rubicon, but I did get a loaded Rubicon to off road at the mall in style😝 Those water filled potholes are serious obstacles and I'm prepared🤣
The one thing that absolutely does not make sense is taking a windshield that is prone to and notorious for needing replaced and making it more expensive by placing the antennae in it. Really stupid idea!
The normal Rubicons are ~$65K at most dealers. The 392 at my dealer, being sold for sticker, has a price of $93k. That's sticker price. So if you mean manufacturer markups, yes definitely. They took HUGE advantage during the C-19 crisis.
Be quite honest there is no car worth me paying $100,000 for and getting crappy gas mileage I’ll pass all the way around vehicles are just insanely price these days
Price seems to have gone up significantly too. I helped my dad order his, and it was about 85k MSRP with the duel top and 35” tire package. I like the bronze wheels a lot more and the black and bronze interior. The smaller screen also looks better overall. But I don’t hate this at all.
Ben, why do you not mention Stellantis increased their prices above 48% since 2019 to present. In comparison, US inflation increased only 21.4%. So is this Jeep worth it in your opinion? What is your answer since you asked.
100K.......100K for a jeep.........LO freekin L ....... Ben, please compare this 100K Jeep with a 100K Car, probably European.....so I can understand why the price. Because that tin can does not cost 100K........no way!!!!!
Drive the caddie on the freeway you will be happy. But if you do any off roading the 392 will Blown away a 150k lux car. So it’s all relative to the needs of the vehicle
The windshield is insane. Gonna be expensive when it does get cracked. I wish they would xhange the key. I hate how big it is. It drives me nuts, bit atleast I am always aware if I have it or not. Lol. Plus, though a 392 would probably kill you in one, I am a 2 door guy and would love to see that combination.
Glad I found a 2021 with 15k road only miles for $75,000. I don't like the changes with the refresh other than the full float axels. Previous owner put ugly 22's on mine, so am trying to source the factory bronze, but I may have to go after market with AEV beadlock capable in matte black wheels. Mine has the XR package but I'll probably put Tera Flex suspension on.
I don’t get the red seats and red interior trim and stitching with bronze exterior trim. The colors clash. Pick one or the other. Either way, the red seats is just too much red for me.
It was for this reason I couldn’t get the Sarge Green that I really wanted. Forced to get red seats. They got rid of my first option and favorite color on the 392 trim which is Granite Crystal Metallic. I just went with white.😢
For $15,000 I could build my classic Jeep XJ and have a big 5.3L V8 swap with new transmission etc.. and it will 100% outperform that 100K turd box and actually be reliable!
This is the best off-road vehicle you can buy brand new in America. It’s available with all the essential off-road features from the factory, those being a lift kit, all-terrain tires, steel bumpers, rock sliders, a winch and a dealer-installed snorkel intake which means it doesn’t need any aftermarket modifications to maximize its capabilities. Also, it has solid axles in both the rear and front, the latter of which is not found on any other American SUV, let alone any SUV on the American market anymore. Finally, it has lockable permanent AWD instead of part-time 4WD which means you don’t have to manually switch drivetrains no matter how variable the terrains you’re driving on are unless they get extreme enough. This vehicle may be expensive, but being the only vehicle in production of its kind, it’s easy to decide what to get if you’re so subtly picky about the vehicle’s features.
I love my 2023 Rubicon farout edition with the Diesel.. I decked it out with all the bells and whistles half doors too. It was expensive but looking at the new model all done up like mine with the 3.6 penistar is just as much as my Diesel model was. I’m so happy I got mine when I did.
That's an absolutely reasonable thing to say. Its all a bit AMG-ey. Most 4x4 manufactures have done the same to their detriment imo. They started off with a working mans car, and to be fair most worked very well. Then they out price them for the original customer. I don't even know if this car could be imported to England but even if it could it would take half a weeks wages to pay for its weekly fuel bill haha.
Are all 4 cars in the 3 car garage yours to drive? Your grass is green too compared to the last video I watched…lol! I’d like to know your actual gas mileage please Ben. 👍🏼
no other showroom vehicle on the global market can come close to this Jeep. Its that price because its just the BEST in the world offroad vehicle. What you say Toyota or Landrover...ROFLMAO....lol
Wheels will be fun to clean. I like it except for the red seats. I had a 23 and should have kept it. But then the 24s have the upgraded electronics. What to do lol
hey Ben I totally agree with you I had a 1998 jeep grand Cherokee Laredo for two years and it was completely solid drove solid just a really will built jeep i've been thinking about getting another one when I retire in three years but looking at your video tonight I would never ever buy a Jeep with the 392 the company that's building is now how should I say is a shabby job and as you put it everything wiggles The Jeep that I'm looking at is going to be the Jeep renegade and by the time I retired the Jeep renegade Is supposed to be available thank you for your video keep up the good work thank you
It is just insane on how much Jeeps cost, mainly the Wrangler. I would love to have this 392 Rubicon but I'm just a regular guy with a regular job. This Jeep is for the rich and that should be illegal. It only cost that much because of the name and popularity, just like Harley Davidson. I bet it does not even cost a fraction of that to build it. How much is Jeep making off of each one of these they sell.
"Worth The Nearly $100,000 Price Tag?" 100% but you may want to look for one with less than 30-40k miles for 2/3 of that cost. I have one and it's one of the most fun vehicles I've ever driven and I've had some really unique and fun high horsepower cars/trucks.
ALL automotive corporate conglomerates with multiple brands suffer from the same illness. Your commentary is 10000000000000% true. The corporate entity can own the brands, but let the brand ENGINEERS do their job. The moment that accountants start dictating what to do, that's when quality goes out the door or becomes non-existent all together. I understand all businesses want to make money, but at what cost? Doesn't matter the marque, but each brand's respective enthusiasts will slowly either move to other brands or simply fade away, depending on the type of vehicle. These companies can spend billions in R&D, but if they don't actually listen to what the people want, then what's the point? While Jeep may not be as affected by what I describe being a niche market all on its own, but eventually, the market share will slip. Competition may be one factor that splits the off-road community, but if one of the biggest players in the segment cannot produce a quality product, then the money will shift. You've pointed out in previous videos from months back that Jeep, as a whole, is not doing as well as people think in terms of overall sales. Time is ticking, Jeep...
100k for this is $25k to much. The beer drinking blue collar worker that actually would take this out and use it can't even afford it. I'll stick with the 2.0T model.
Who the hell comes up with one color only for the seats, windshield antenna sucks, hood doesn’t lock and overhead soundbar needs moved back or higher, gonna be bad 4wd or an accident hitting your head on it.Gas mileage sucks with no 2nd option on the stick.
Its not worth $100k but I know you want one and are probably going to buy one. lol It seems a much more refined vehicle with a better interior and a quieter driving experience.
When I get back to the states, I need to purchase a car. I would really like a bronco raptor or a 392. But I do not want to purchase a house. I don’t know if I can justify having either one of those living in an apartment. Does anyone here live in an apartment with one of these two vehicles?

Part of the jeep appeal, for me, was the ‘reasonable’ price for the fun factor. That is gone.
