Dude’s a Bronco. He’s next in line after Rod, Brandon Marshall, Emmanuel, Eddie Royal, Eric Decker and Demaryius. We don’t want to lose him like we did all those other guys other than Rod.
Broncos Country wants him here. Just pay him, and let’s go.

He is being paid. You can't cave to every players' demands. They still have 2 years that they have to pay RW and many other guys who have to be paid real soon. There is only so much to go around. I will add that they also do not know how he is going to perform after having surgery. The smart thing to do is actually watch him play in games to see how that goes before dishing out more money.

    • @doncore4061

Exactly! And it's not like he's not a good guy or not likable it's just the reality of his production he hasn't gone over 900 yards since 2019. @@doncore4061I'm actually hoping that's a sign he's staying. It would seem more like an indicator he's leaving if he felt he couldn't mention Russ' name. One of the most important things as a receiver is having that connection w your QB, so if he talked about the QB's here and danced around mentioning Russ...feel like that'd be super awkward. By just being straight up about the connection he had w him, it seems like he's ready to talk about it so he can move on from it.

@DontTakeThisSeriously616 He looks up to russ too much, he would've not held out if russ never came to denver. He was a team first guy but that changed after russ. He randomly said he's interested to see what russ does in Pittsburgh, that's a weird thing to say.
