This can be a really good idea. Imagine if when you finish the path of pain in vainilla, with the 2 guards, then when you keep going you Find an infinite soul statue And a bank, like a checkpoint, And after that, is the Pure Vessel protecting his secrets.
I know I can beat pure vessel pretty consistently hitless, but this is something else. Not just the path of pain, but the pure vessel having a much smaller arena
The problem is the mod disguised you as grim. If you just looked like a normal vessel he would’ve been like “oh baby bro is just grabbing some pizza rolls” and went about his day.
the sheer amount of challenges you stacked onto this is conflicting me. on one hand well done that's insane, on the other hand why would you do this to your self!

You know what's interesting about PV? Its Nail is Pure just as ours, its evasion skill is some sort of "Shade Teleport" just like our Shade Dash. And it has some extra shade power attacks like the shadow tentacles just like our spells, and it also has some gadgets and skills like throwing knives and the ground slam. PV was trained to be the perfect warrior, to have the perfect shell and the perfect candidate to contain the Radiance once and for all... But by kings fault, it failed in all of these aspects
After returning to hollow knight... yeah am not too sure if I'll be able to completr any of these challanges with mods. But perhaps someday I'll achieve the heights that even the gods of hallownest could never see

I've always figured it could work if the PV just did 1 damage and maybe was a little slower, just to make sure a player won't have to try too many times to win.
I know. That's why I didn't use spells... It took me about 6 attempts in total, i believe? Some resets along the path, and about 3,4 times choking to PV, since the final arena kinda tripped me off.
