    This is where I'm at. Wish to cut into existing wiring under the bonnet for cig lighter so it is permanently live. But powered by aux battery only. Intend to fit Anderson plug at later stage as per your next posting.

    You could put a nut sert in there and bot have to remove the plastic guards

      A nut sert is not the strongest option mate, they are great for securing light equipment but this is holding a battery into position in the engine bay of a car that flexes offroad. So removing that gauard and using the large mudguard washer is a far more secure option.

    Does the Mk2 Shogun have space/mountings for this too?

      Hi mate. I believe that shogun is just another name for the Pajero in other parts of the world so it should be the same
