The new breakthrough in graphene transistor technology is going to solve this problem in future handhelds. Much faster CPU & GPU's with a lot less power wasted while also producing a lot less heat. All this in a technology can easily be adapted into current manufacturing processes for semiconductors. Some people say we can get this new technology in consumer hands as soon as late 2026/early 2027. So definitely going to power the rog ally 3, PS6, GTX 50 series, ryzen 9000.
I love my ugreen 25,000 mah on my ally. It’s been my most fav accessory I own. Built like a tank and I can more than double the battery. I used the handheld diy backplate and the included strap to hold it on. Great video m8! ❤😊
I did this exact thing a few months ago with even the same battery! I found a 100W capable 6” USB C with a right angle connector on one side. It doesn’t get in the way of my left hand fingers!
So the only problem with the bigger power bank is that it weighs down the device when connected using another accessory you paid for, why not just not have it attatched on the back?
25 watts? Is this the regular? I know the Z1E and X do 30 watts. Anyway, I love my Ally! I should've gotten the X but it's fine. I can work with it until the next one release next year. I've been looking at the ally and Legion go before purchasing because I didn't think I wanted to get one but Best Buy didn't have any more Legion Go's in stock at the store I went to and I didn't feel like wasting money on a cab just to go to another store to buy it so I settled for the Z1E. My money was well invested because not only does the Ally play almost every game I've tested, the design and screen are beautiful. I doubt anyone would notice quad HD on a small gaming pc screen anyway so I definitely don't regret my purchase. I finally have one and enjoy it. The only thing that pissed me off is it went on sake $100 less a few days after my time to take it back in for an exchange to the X,
i also have 80wh powerbank, and still play in 15w tdp in teoritically 32wh (i turned on the smart charge bypass at 80%) +80wh = 112wh total. it can play 15w tdp (25w total battery drain) for 4.5 hours. but i find myself stop playing after 2 or 3 hours. so my ally battery almost never run out of it's internal battery, most of the time stays 80%
There are tons and tons of games that can be played on these handhelds on the go that going to this extreme is not necessary. These handhelds hardware are behind current mid- range gaming laptops and desktops about 8 years. These handhelds are great to play indy and older titles.( as you pointed out) It's just more convenient, for those that PC gaming is our hobby, to play current triple A titles on a desktop and laptop or if you have a good internet to play games on these handheld using GeForce Now. Again if you have a good connection at home and your PC hardware is out of date that is good enough to play indy and older games well but not current triple A titles (just like these handhelds) then Geforce Now is a good deal. Buying a prebuilt desktop with a 4080 will run around $2000 , that's enough to pay for GeForce Now (the $20 option) for 100 months. They have really improved these services over time. You can play for hours on the battery using Geforce Now or remote play. Of course this do away with much of the bragging rights (which handheld is better) since pretty much any of these handhelds can do this.
Plated he'll divers 2 and the battery went down to 20%. Then connected the powerbank and the ally went to 50% then wanted to charge the powerbank. It was soo hot. U guys had this issue too?
All this to make up for the inefficiency of x86_64, the longer we wait for ARM the more idiotic things get Please don't take this as an insult to your channel since it has nothing to do with you or this product

the allymate bundle is really expensive, doesnt worth that price
cool, beautiful and functional
daisy chain a portable monitor and racing kit
i need 10 of these for a day at work...
That’s similar to Steve Jobs iPhone joke. And here it is…
Really good video! I'm planning to buy one. BTW I love the music in the background. Could you please tell me the names?
I have a 50,000 mah power bank how long will it last with a ROG ally z1
Edit:
The max output is 22.5w
Put the battery on the floor in in your pocket get a longer cable or in a bag
I just play with mine plugged in for long play sessions
the ugreen is honestly a good price
Just get a small gaming laptop. It's odd to have one of this plugged on a wall, when a laptop gives you better everything.
What's the name of that adapter with the screen?
A USB Tester, or Multimeter

@@misterpacha1 no problem with my ally or ugreen 100 w powerbank 20000

No offence taken. I agree, if everything was running on ARM it would be a lot more efficient, but will any game developers bother to build for it?
The problem isn't x86, the problem is that battery technology hasn't really improved much in the last 20 years.
I guess the liers in the comment section who said they only game for an hour day won't lie this product😂😂😂😂😂what 😂
