For whatever reason, all the sudden you feel like you are ten times slower. Movement is slower, your speed is slower, you can't seem to lock in. You were doing great the first half of the match, and I can tell there is some kind of difference. It's like an entirely different match. I don't know if it's the bandwidth going all wanky me but it happens a lot. One minute you're eliminating enemies with three maybe four shots, the next you're dumping complete mags into them and they turn around and down you with a quick pop

So funny thing, apparently everytime you die you resync into the game, and the quality of that resync varies widely. This is why you can pop off one round then all of a sudden getting dumped on the next.

Skill based damage is real. You go from getting kills with 4 to 5 shots up close with an ar to needing 12-14 shots. This has two harsh impacts: 1) the person you are trying to kill will realize you’re there and kill you in 1/3 the time 2) even if you kill them, you’re essentially stuck having to reload, which leaves you exposed to the opposing team for an easy kill. Honestly, the game does look great. There is quite a bit of nostalgia for me. BO1 was the first CoD I actually played online. But the SBMM and SBD has ruined the multiplayer experience for me. And now we don’t even have DMZ… in the game about the Cold War…
Just don’t buy it, there’s plenty of other games to play that would be great with all the money you continue to throw at Activision, 2k, and EA. Every year you continue to buy it just to make the same rant videos and still play it for hundreds of hours. The shutdown of Concord should let gamers know that we have the true power with our wallets, simple.

CoD has been here for years and every new generation of gamers is gonna keep it going through microtransactions. The "Don't buy it, speak with your wallets" crowd is the severe minority here. Just to put it in perspective for you, I'm on a 6 year "voting with my wallet" run with EA Sports. Haven't bought Madden since 2018. I'm doing MY part. Didn't buy CFB 25 either, but what happened? They still became the best selling football titles at the time. Sales were still good for them and I did my part by not buying it. I didn't buy BO6, CW, MW3, but they still sold fairly well. You're right, there's other FPS that I do enjoy like Hell Let Loose, Insurgency Sandstorm, Delta Force, etc. And those are games I'd happily throw money at. As a gamer, you can pick something up and put it down with ease. For me, I don’t care about sbmm. I don’t care about K/D either. All I care about when I’m playing is winning. I ALWAYS play the objective. Most people just play to get kills and level up their guns. But I level up just as much playing the objectives and shooting people as they run by, Lol

Activision's matchmaking system pulls all of the strings in regards to how we perform and influences when we win and lose matches. It's very artificial and manipulative. Mark Rubin was right to say that it's unethical. I'm done with Call Of Duty.......

I have no shame in admitting I started 2 boxing on pc and the game is far more enjoyable. No one booty sliding everywhere or obviously cheating. I play solo and my KD is near a 2 so my lobbies feel like I’m playing mlg tournaments.

I highly recommend buying this game via game pass at the moment and coast until season 2 or 3 before you commit. Right now Black Ops 6 is mostly a zombies game for me since multiplayer I don't find much enjoyment so far. Can't enjoy TDM because of the spawns and streaks being scorestreaks only so , so you can't earn your high end streaks in the mode. Domination and hardpoint feel like the best casual mode this year, but my issue is teammates quitting. Half of my team will quit mid match and the game will struggle to fill the missing spots. We'll lose 100 to 250 because someone wasn't there defending A or shooting down streaks. Even infected kind of sucks this year given melee combat is undepowered while everyone only plays the mode for nukes so first infected will quit over and over. Very sad given it looks like treyarch really tried with the mode. Overall, the MP experience is very frustrating or just a let down. Don't buy this game if you're purely in for the multiplayer.
This is why I only played Ground War on MW's. Treyarch doesn't believe in it. Infinity Ward just abandoned it in MW3 releasing 3 maps and nothing else.

I havent bought this cod yet. My k/d used to always be above 2.0. Sbmm makes my brain hurt from trying so hard. I used to run around playing with a revolver for fun, instead i have to carry and use meta weapons and try hard every damn game.
While it’s possible that players are getting nerfed in real time, I am not sure its the probable reality. What I really think is happening is that when one person is doing really well, it results in players leaving the match- this makes the game laggy as hell and it feels like you are getting messed with. There is something wrong with the netcode and desync for sure- it’s actually been proven. My game often does a brief freeze when I pick up another person’s gun. If picking up a weapon causes the game to lag, then players leaving the match (or players entering a match) is likely going to be a pain point. Unacceptable for the most lucrative FPS game in the world to have issues like this.
I completely agree. Even the pro's & ex pro players (CDL players) say the same thing about the SBMM. I myself 2 box and it's a night n day difference man. It's unbelievable. I've been strictly 2 boxing when ever I play.
Yea bro it sucks. I went from a 1.50 KD and a 1.75 W/L to 1.23 and 1.45. Sometimes I spawn right in front of somebody as there shooting at somebody else. Its to the point where I juat play Zombies now. The content creators are using VPN's and 2 boxing man. For example Swag just got shadow banned live on stream. Guess what??? He made a couple calls LIVE ON STREAM and got un banned. If I got shadow banned it would take at least 6 months for Activision to get back to me. Swag also mentioned something about a streamer account so when people report you don't get banned because your on Activisions list. When I saw that I was truly hurt. Just wanted to share my opinion

Yo Devon, you need to check out the white papers about all of this. Not just the recent ones, also look at battlefield training AI bots from years ago probably back in 2018 2019 about the time of BF1. I can promise you that there are real time damage, movement and hit reg nerfs. Almost every match. I do some kind of team stacking. We having a good match and all of a sudden there’s only two of us in the server or I will join a match and I’ll be on a team that’s down by two players. This happens constantly if I try to keep my KD up, I just end up being a scared little camper because I will have people spawn out of nowhere, I’ll go into rooms and then all of a sudden someone will appear in a corner. It’s just crazy man.
Worst thing about this for me is I tried to warn people about this back in 2019 released. They were doing so much weird shit that I had never experienced before. I had run my own servers with call of duty for many years, have been an admin on some of the top servers For call of duty and for battlefield and something was not right. Me and my buddy both just felt like something was going on. Just like hackers can affect other players in the game call of duty can do that as well. One thing we used to exploit when I played a game called Tribes 2 was that you could screenshot and engagement and it would give you an advantage over the other player, so you can get the kill, so as you started the engagement, the whole thing you had to do was hit F2 and you could win the gunfight. There’s all kinds of ways to manipulate these games, and the devs have learned this from observing these things for years and years. One of my main duties as an admin for battlefield, one servers, hard-core servers, the highest rated HC servers in the world was to bans cheaters. I spent a lot of time observing people and worked with Battlefield community spend that much time in those positions you just know that stuff is not right. I don’t think they’re gonna stop this bullshit. Because these stupid kids keep buying skins. I think the way forward is to run private matches, is an ass just like the old private servers

For the sniper camos I had to camp and not play objectives, this game is so fast, the spawns put enemies behind you, windows and doors everywhere and the perks make moving around with a sniper serious work to get get headshots, triple kills etc but yeah I mostly play cod because I enjoy the gameplay and do follow objectives but I wanted the diamond camos this time. I’m more interested in prestige, could be a fun gameplay loop and I want the guns

I agree with players. Honestly, just don't truly know their skill level. SBMM/ EOMM mixed with Desync, Net Code, weird the damage range vs. ttk feels, and Team balancing can suck the life the hell out you. This is especially true if you are solo queueing. BUT, with even all that, I can not go the way of 2 boxing. I'm not jumping in those lobbies to shit on those players. Just my opinion that's just some selfish bitch shit. I played in 1 of those lobbies because my youngest son wanted to start to learn to play, and it just didn't feel right for me to be there.

To me sbmm isnt a problem because its present in almost any multiplayer game you play. Playing against other ppl that are just as good as you shouldn't be an issue. When it's against you; it's bad (SBMM). To make an argument: the majority of people are BAD at shooters. SBMM allows more people to have a good time at the expense of the good players. Good luck; it isn't made for competitive people... ...it's for casuals (unfortunately).

Activision's matchmaking system pulls all of the strings in regards to how we perform and influences when we win and lose matches. It's very artificial and manipulative. Mark Rubin was right to say that it's unethical. I'm done with Call Of Duty.......

I have no shame in admitting I started 2 boxing on pc and the game is far more enjoyable. No one booty sliding everywhere or obviously cheating. I play solo and my KD is near a 2 so my lobbies feel like I’m playing mlg tournaments.

I highly recommend buying this game via game pass at the moment and coast until season 2 or 3 before you commit. Right now Black Ops 6 is mostly a zombies game for me since multiplayer I don't find much enjoyment so far. Can't enjoy TDM because of the spawns and streaks being scorestreaks only so , so you can't earn your high end streaks in the mode. Domination and hardpoint feel like the best casual mode this year, but my issue is teammates quitting. Half of my team will quit mid match and the game will struggle to fill the missing spots. We'll lose 100 to 250 because someone wasn't there defending A or shooting down streaks. Even infected kind of sucks this year given melee combat is undepowered while everyone only plays the mode for nukes so first infected will quit over and over. Very sad given it looks like treyarch really tried with the mode. Overall, the MP experience is very frustrating or just a let down. Don't buy this game if you're purely in for the multiplayer.

This is why I only played Ground War on MW's. Treyarch doesn't believe in it. Infinity Ward just abandoned it in MW3 releasing 3 maps and nothing else.

I havent bought this cod yet. My k/d used to always be above 2.0. Sbmm makes my brain hurt from trying so hard. I used to run around playing with a revolver for fun, instead i have to carry and use meta weapons and try hard every damn game.

While it’s possible that players are getting nerfed in real time, I am not sure its the probable reality.
What I really think is happening is that when one person is doing really well, it results in players leaving the match- this makes the game laggy as hell and it feels like you are getting messed with.
There is something wrong with the netcode and desync for sure- it’s actually been proven. My game often does a brief freeze when I pick up another person’s gun. If picking up a weapon causes the game to lag, then players leaving the match (or players entering a match) is likely going to be a pain point.
Unacceptable for the most lucrative FPS game in the world to have issues like this.
I completely agree. Even the pro's & ex pro players (CDL players) say the same thing about the SBMM. I myself 2 box and it's a night n day difference man. It's unbelievable. I've been strictly 2 boxing when ever I play.

Yea bro it sucks. I went from a 1.50 KD and a 1.75 W/L to 1.23 and 1.45. Sometimes I spawn right in front of somebody as there shooting at somebody else. Its to the point where I juat play Zombies now. The content creators are using VPN's and 2 boxing man.
For example Swag just got shadow banned live on stream. Guess what??? He made a couple calls LIVE ON STREAM and got un banned. If I got shadow banned it would take at least 6 months for Activision to get back to me. Swag also mentioned something about a streamer account so when people report you don't get banned because your on Activisions list.

Yo Devon, you need to check out the white papers about all of this. Not just the recent ones, also look at battlefield training AI bots from years ago probably back in 2018 2019 about the time of BF1. I can promise you that there are real time damage, movement and hit reg nerfs. Almost every match. I do some kind of team stacking. We having a good match and all of a sudden there’s only two of us in the server or I will join a match and I’ll be on a team that’s down by two players. This happens constantly if I try to keep my KD up, I just end up being a scared little camper because I will have people spawn out of nowhere, I’ll go into rooms and then all of a sudden someone will appear in a corner. It’s just crazy man.
Worst thing about this for me is I tried to warn people about this back in 2019 released. They were doing so much weird shit that I had never experienced before. I had run my own servers with call of duty for many years, have been an admin on some of the top servers For call of duty and for battlefield and something was not right. Me and my buddy both just felt like something was going on. Just like hackers can affect other players in the game call of duty can do that as well. One thing we used to exploit when I played a game called Tribes 2 was that you could screenshot and engagement and it would give you an advantage over the other player, so you can get the kill, so as you started the engagement, the whole thing you had to do was hit F2 and you could win the gunfight. There’s all kinds of ways to manipulate these games, and the devs have learned this from observing these things for years and years. One of my main duties as an admin for battlefield, one servers, hard-core servers, the highest rated HC servers in the world was to bans cheaters. I spent a lot of time observing people and worked with Battlefield community spend that much time in those positions you just know that stuff is not right. I don’t think they’re gonna stop this bullshit. Because these stupid kids keep buying skins. I think the way forward is to run private matches, is an ass just like the old private servers

But you have these dudes that make inside bigs and just want the ball taking 2's all game and will never kick it out after they got the o-board while the other team is raining 3's because defense is non existent, PG, SG are chucking 28 footers with dudes standing in their face, SF is getting cooked so he quit 😂 not to mention they're taking contested layups as well SMH

For the sniper camos I had to camp and not play objectives, this game is so fast, the spawns put enemies behind you, windows and doors everywhere and the perks make moving around with a sniper serious work to get get headshots, triple kills etc but yeah I mostly play cod because I enjoy the gameplay and do follow objectives but I wanted the diamond camos this time. I’m more interested in prestige, could be a fun gameplay loop and I want the guns

SBMM/ EOMM mixed with Desync, Net Code, weird the damage range vs. ttk feels, and Team balancing can suck the life the hell out you. This is especially true if you are solo queueing. BUT, with even all that, I can not go the way of 2 boxing. I'm not jumping in those lobbies to shit on those players. Just my opinion that's just some selfish bitch shit. I played in 1 of those lobbies because my youngest son wanted to start to learn to play, and it just didn't feel right for me to be there.

To me sbmm isnt a problem because its present in almost any multiplayer game you play. Playing against other ppl that are just as good as you shouldn't be an issue. The problem that lingers within bo6 is that it's just a broken game, wouldn't say that sbmm doesn't contribute to that mechanic wise. And also I'm just saying this for the record. If an individual have to use VPNs or do things just to play against "bots" ie bad players just to enjoy the game then maybe you shouldn't play that game because its never that serious, just a video game.

People who use Aim Assist and get frustrated about SBMM make me laugh; you're on a laptop and still using a roller? When advantage is given to you; it's cool (aim assist). When it's against you; it's bad (SBMM). To make an argument: the majority of people are BAD at shooters. SBMM allows more people to have a good time at the expense of the good players. Good luck; it isn't made for competitive people... ...it's for casuals (unfortunately).

Didn't buy BO6, CW or MW3, but they STILL SOLD WELL lol. The "vote with your wallet" crowd is the severe minority. Gotta be realistic when you tell people to stop buying the game to make them give a damn. CoD is too big of a giant to affect them with that. Every new generation of gamers will keep it going regardless.
