    My dad always used to tell me when I was a teenager..."hard work, helping others along the way, remembering where you came from, & being the best you can be will always make you the best at anything you do".
    This just proves my dad right once AGAIN!!!
    But then again, my dad was always right about a lot of things!!!

    Man almost 40 hours a week at work then probably another 25 hours a week at school/study and then another 15-20 hours a week with football practice and games. He is probably so happy he finally has time to get some sleep at night now? Congrats and I hope he accomplishes great things in the future.

      I worked both a full time and part time job at home nursing while going to college full-time too until I had a very bad car accident.... Been a couple decades, never fully recovered, but I work full time, just not in nursing anymore, can't due to injuries, so I can't complain so long as I can do something.

    Going to school and working so he can have the opportunity. One can just imagine how hard that must
    be.
    Such a "God Hug" for his coach to ,recognize what a good
    kid he is working, studying, going to school and playing
    football. He indeed has his priorities lined up.
    Thank you coach for making sure he got a full ride scholarship.
    I am sure he will and has already made you proud. Know his family is proud and most of all will be an example to others.
    A desire to get his education is important to him.and was doing exactly what needed to be done to fulfill his dream

    Coach Franklin loves his players, and it's so evident throughout his career. Kyle embodies hard work, dedication, and focus. Too many people today are too quick to quit when things are difficult and play the victim card! Not Kyle...... He will overcome any obstacle and succeed at whatever he chooses to pursue!     If that was here in Portugal the team mate would become so envious that the would walk away and start cussing him.
    This is what I love about the american mentality....people do rejoice for others. People feel happy when other achieve something. This year will be 15 years since I returned home from america and I think and talk of this nation EVERY single day.
    Its the american people atitudes that make this nation stands where it stands.

    I was fortunate enough to be present when someone else got a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London.
    He was about to take part on a public concert when the choirmaster broke the news to everyone.
    The relief this football player must be feeling would so great, it's no wonder he was crying. Now he will have time to study, rather than staying awake all night working.
