- One common man from Haryana lead a jan andolan to plant more than 3 lakh trees. He plants a hundred different variety of local trees in a selected space to kickstart the biodiversity of the region. How did he achieve this? How does he motivate people to support his cause? And how does he find the time and money to fund something like this? This is the story of the Treeman from Haryana. Presenting a brand new series called Gems of India which showcases the stories of groundbreaking initiatives and courageous people, bringing a change for better in India.

I have started it in 2016 and raised approx 100 Neem plants, 30 Peepal, 25 Banyan, 30 Ashok trees and 40 Jamun Trees. Now they are to be planted in Patna(Bihar).

I have more 200 potted plants 🪴, 40 grow bags and 7 trees 🌳 at my lawn and many bonsais at my home, but I did this because I love it as I'm a professional botanists too.

अंबानी ने आम का बाग लगाने के लिए सरकारी भूमि मुफ्त मे ले रखी है।

Whole video i was getting goose bumps...I have a very small sapling of falsey in my pot....Will put them into bigger pot and when it is big enough will plant it in park....
Sir I am Assistant Loco Pilot in India Railway....and saw cutting of Forest increased from last 5years. I usually travel 100 or 200 km of distance as part of my duty and always have seed-balls with me. I throw these seed-balls to places where possibilities of growing trees is more. These seed-balls consist of 6 to 7 different tree's seeds which grows easily and needs no care like peepal, banyan etc. Everyone should keep these seed-balls with them while traveling

Me and my father, uncles, cousins planted almost 500 trees after amphan cyclone, many plants breakdown in our locality including almost 100 banyans during those devastating cyclone... 1. Stop using plastic or minimize it.
2. Save electricity.
3. Plant at least 5-6 plants every year and take care of them.
4. Peruse organic farming.
5. Use bicycle for small distances.
