I mean, I've been playing puyo games on the hardest difficulty and the AI definitelly doesn't slack around, some of them are really tought, even if not on the level of 10+ chains but still. Altought I also only started playing those been like, 2 weeks, so I probably just still kinda suck lol, I still struggle to consistently do chains of 3 even
tbf this is just puyo puyo 1, a lot of the others have more going on mechanically (even puyo puyo tsu on its own adds a lot to the franchise), so the ai can do more as a result (sousei counters, all clears, etc)

Nah, it would have cut before having enough, they needed more red on top of those yellow to continue the chain And even, the main combo on the bottom rows wouldn't have been able to start so they were just doomed
@yeah but he got a yellow not long after, he got too greedy for a combo 😂

@@solarenity There was garbage where they would have wanted a Yellow to be so it was just impossible for the combo not to cut before the bottom part. They just got unlucky with garbage, it happens ^^
even if the chain worked it would only be like a 9 chain compared to the person on the right with a 14 chain oh wait I forgot this has no offsetting lmao

@@RStaRaptoR That's how the game works, nothing will fall on the board until the chain is finished, in some cases this is necessary for countering your opponent if they attack before you, just gotta make sure you have a chain ready.
You know that episode of Ed, Edd & Eddy where they make Johnny twice as annoying and feed him anchovie paste? And every time he burps he goes "YEEHAW!" Thats exactly what this is. It stinks and it sucks and my god did it pack a punch.

@@lordpillows762 watch some professionals play the game, the ai gets completely floored within like... 30 - 40 seconds
In that case you should play the SEGA puyo games and turn on Core AI
You'll get your ass kicked
