@𝘿!𝙘𝙠 Riding ǤƗяℓ Leah Joni's song references her getting fingered by some Casanova at a country motel. Joni getting fingered is one thing. This guy getting fingered is another thing altogether. I'm not being homophobic either. Joni just wasn't about that at all. I find it revolting, and I bet she did too.
@@mwbright You don't get to decide what Joni thinks. He wouldn't have been selected to sing this song for her if she didn't approve. Get off your high horse, stop taking art so literally, and appreciate brilliant musicianship. Also "finding it revolting" is homophobic. Plain and simple.
Also the lyric doesn't explicitly describe being fingers. 'My scent on his fingers' does imply that, but is also open to interpretation. That is the beauty of wonderfully crafted lyrics. She lets you fill in the gaps.
@@ashddd Who said he was selected? Who says he didn't select himself? And as far as getting to decide, I was selected to decide, for I am the cover song decider.

The PBS video is worth the entire price just for this performance. Highlight of the evening!
I saw him perform this at the first night of the celebration at the Dorthy Chandler Pavilion. It was amazing... blew me away! Almost as good as Joni.
Wow. Absolutely exceptional. An enduring talent honoring a legend. Great job.
Very interesting version. Thank you for it.
Absolutely brilliant
This is a wonderfully spirited version. Well done.
Congratulations.
I dream with your music
Happy New Year to you and yours!

😊😊😊😊
I love that a man is singing the lyrics as written. I can't say I like the coyote howling at the end though, not a good choice.
omg - it was brilliant, enchanting - try seeing it on the video & you'll see what i mean
This is better as the original song...great. but the original song is Joni; the source of the track
♫♪👏👏👏😍😍😚😚🤗
A man doing this song is repulsive. Ugh. I'm offended.
