The answer is Yes....and those giving and receiving are still out there ❤ Including Joni ...No matter what challenges we face in life. Music is a language of its own ! Joni still giggles and smiles when she finishes a song 🎵 And we can feel it too.. because singing and the connection and exchange of the energy she feels from the musical vibrations in the language of her music still brings us all Joy . ❤

An amazing song from (imho) Joni’s very best album - Hejira. Whenever I have somewhere to drive to, this is the first thing on the car stereo. Perfect travelling music.
Yup ! The memory is a strange thing , as I remember this when it first came out when I was a teenager but for some reason I always think it came out more like 72 or 73 ... my memory has me hearing it earlier on but it actually didn't come out until 76 when I was in my senior year in high school . Great song , cool , smooth , breezy .
My favourite Joni song. It's just perfect from start to finish. The funniest sentence ever written in the music press since the mid 70s is '(insert name of woman with guitar) is the new Joni Mitchell'.
Joni Mitchell -A one of a great kind ! All music has good story , meaning ! Love watching her singing Woodstock ! A beautiful woman , soul , and a musician for sure . I takes back . Bless you Joni .
What beautiful musicianship this track displays. Just in a very understated way using the harmonics on the guitar. Nothing brash or boastful. Just wonderful. One of my favourite ever tracks.
¿Hay otras ciudades llamadas Barcelona? No estoy seguro de que los estadounidenses sepan dónde está Cataluña. Hola de Francia. También escuchamos a Joni aquí.
Thanks much Joni! The first song ever I heard of yours was on a turntable at my cousin's home circa 1968. I've been a huge fan ever since and own every one of your CD's / Albums. Love you to pieces!
I'm 21 again. The snow feels infused. The music of Joni fills me with mystery, beauty, soul. In this life we are delving into what it really means to be The Feminine. And Joni walks before us- fearless, flourishing poetry, music, song, singing her heart out. We all know EXACTLY how she feels, and she sings for us. It's the first time we've heard ourselves, and WE ARE A WONDER!❤ Thank you, Dear Joni. You are my older sister, a cool cousin, a young aunt I admired and secretly emulated. We all did. We couldn't not. And the next generation is feeling you're singing for them, just as we did. Dear Joni of the paislied song, morning sunshine crystal rainbows, sadness and delight. Dear Magic Sister Joni☀️🌌🐦✨❣️🍃🍂❄️🏔️🌠🕊️🐚🥐🍷🚕🎪🌃🎨📻🎶🌜☁️⛸️🎷🎹❤️🧡💛💙💜 I'm so grateful to have shared life on Earth at the same time as you. I feel I know you, or that you know me. Thank you, Dear Joni, for the courage of authenticity and baring and sharing it with us all. You give us something we didn't know we needed. Magic. Sunlight. Impossible, un- duplicatable, but impossible- not- to- try birdsong created with a human form. Our lives have been so lusciously enriched by your expressions. With color, with depth and breadth of feeling. With melody, poetry and light. So much light. I love you so❤🌹
My brother and I got a ride in a UFO in October 2019. We sailed (it felt more like effortless "sailing" than anything else) way past the moon...I told them how we humans always associate the moon with "coyotes"...they laughed in unison...still laughing, they replied to me that they always associated "coyotes" with "Joni Mitchell"...within an instant they filled our magnificent chamber with a surreal 3-dimensional sound of this song! It was indescribable the loftiness of Joni's voice in 3-D! I exclaimed: "Oh my God, is this sonic technology in our future?" Their collective heads nodded simultaneously. Wow, can you imagine 3-D sound! Then one of replied: "Actually, it's 4-D."

My brother passed away with headphones on listening to joni. In hospice, with a smile on his face.
I must say it sounds like the perfect way to go.
Ой, как люблю я это песню.
Now that’s the way to go…..good for him.
That’s a wonderful way to cross over.😢
Overture/Cotton Avenue. "Cause if you got a place to go, you just have to go there. If you got no place special, well then I guess you'll go no place special".....
Joni and Jaco! Two of my favorite musicians of all time!
I think this is one of my favorite Jaco songs. The harmonics and his playing in general sounds so vast. Like the prairie skies.
I bet they use to have tickle fights over dreamy Bob Dylan
.
She's ok not like Janis though. So soft.
My first year of college when this came out. A failed relationship. College anxiety. Her voice, music and lyrics propped me up then, and still inspire. Almost 50 years later I can still mouth along with all the lyrics and marvel at her and Jaco's playing.
Joni is a place, a time, a mood, a memory of good times. When life was more basic and real.
Just read your comments, Please elaborate ( just asking/saying )
Anyway, Peace to all.
This is about as good as music gets. A beautiful voice with sublime musicianship. The guitar and bass are perfection. Thank you Joni for this majestic piece of art.
as good as it gets- Yeah 💯
I third this. I can’t get over the total musicianship.
Hejira is an album that's traveled half my life with me, never much time passed since my last listen. What a blessing.
Joni is God’s Angel of music. After almost fifty years listening, I believe this even more everyday.
Was the world ever this sophisticated & genuinely cool? This album is a transcendent masterpiece and a timely reminder of the human potential for creative gold & good. Stunning. Inspirational.

Jaco's bassline is so beautiful
The harmonics are glorious
One of the very best story tellers❤
Caution...Geniuses At Work. Two of my all time favourite "voices" 😁
This is one of my favourites from Joni ❤
❤️
An amazing song from (imho) Joni’s very best album - Hejira. Whenever I have somewhere to drive to, this is the first thing on the car stereo. Perfect travelling music.
Blue is just slightly above hejira for me but god they are both 10 out of 10 albums imo
The most intelligent artist ♥️🙏
I was 14 when this song came out. ...Hi 👋 from Morocco.
That phrase 'feel good music'. Every time. Goes there like nothing else.
Such an excellent song - my Aunt bought me this album when I was a teenager. She knew what she was doing...
Hejira is one of my very favourites. Great to hear this song newly remastered. But Joni's songwriting is timeless.
Timeless...well said!
ジョニの声とジャコのハーモニクスは相性抜群
This is one of my favorite songs. 💨
The Great Joni Mitchell, sublime.
Love this song so much. ❤
I’ve always loved this song and it’s hypnotic rhythm.
ジョニ・ミッチェル❤コヨーテ、大好きな曲です。
I love his guitar swinging and the chords she draws with these non standard tunings.

This is my favorite era so experimental and artsy! Thank you Joni for your masterpieces 🤍🖤
Beautiful Joni, beautiful.
One of the greatest songs ever written.
At the time this song came out ,I was engulfed in the scenery and sounds of that era, many years later, I'm still mesmerized by this masterpiece.
Джонни Митчелл благодарю за исполнение отличной песни.
Beautiful vocals! I will regain my youth!😽🐾♬
🐺
One of my all time favorite Joni Mitchell tunes!
The very one thing Joni Mitchell has never compromised. How do the greats do it so well and seemingly easy with life still in the backdrop? ❤️🙏🏻
My favourite Joni song. It's just perfect from start to finish. The funniest sentence ever written in the music press since the mid 70s is '(insert name of woman with guitar) is the new Joni Mitchell'.
Hissing of Summer Lawns, Hejira, Don Juan's Reckless Daughter, the greatest trio of recordings.
And Blue, and Clouds, and For The Roses... her creative output in that decade is just insane.
Her earlier stuff sets the stage. Listen to For The Roses. The stairway ascends.
Song to a Seagull!
Joni Mitchell -A one of a great kind ! All music has good story , meaning ! Love watching her singing Woodstock ! A beautiful woman , soul , and a musician for sure . I takes back . Bless you Joni .

Joni Mitchell Priceless!

Hejira: one of the greatest albums ever made. It’s simply another level of musical and lyrical artistry. 😎🎹

JONI THE GOAT
If I had the tiniest amount of talent that Jaco had in one of his toenail clippings I’d die a happy man.
Her music makes me laugh and cry at the same time! What a woman!
Probably the most talented musician of my lifetime, Jomi' ear for music is pure magic.
👍👍👍!
power to him Rachel.xxxxxx

Her best song IMHO.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
I fell in love with Joni the first time I saw her on The Last Waltz. Coyote sealed the deal. I must have been 10 years old.
I absolutely love that movie! I've watched it so many times
I knew Hejira, and thought she was improvising at some point. When I saw The Last Waltz,
I was very surprised to hear Joni singing Coyote exactly like she did on the LP with Jaco.

the best voice ever recorded
You are very loved, kid. Onward!
💕
Wow
This kind of music needs to be re-emerged.
I've been worrying about Joan the past two weeks. I pray I'm wrong. I don't want to live in a world without her...
She is playing the Hollywood Bowl this summer.. she will be there for her glorious veneration🩵 don't worry😊

Hejira is possibly one of the greatest albums ever recorded - In My Humble Opinion 🙂
It's my favorite Joni Mitchell's LP, but Joni puts Court and Spark in 1 (Rick Beato too).
Both Sides Now (2000) with Vince Mendoza's arrangements is a jewel. Great arranger.
No comparison with the 4 chords s..t without a bridge that sells today.
no regrets coyote

We just come from such different sets of circumstance

You'll be brushing out a brood mare's tail
While the sun is ascending
And i'll just be getting home with my reel to reel...

Where a local band was playing
Locals were up kicking and shaking on the floor
And the next thing i know

He pins me in a corner and he won't take "no!"
He drags me out on the dance floor
And we're dancing close and slow
Now he's got a woman at home
He's got another woman down the hall
He seems to want me anyway
Why'd you have to get so drunk
And lead me on that way
You just picked up a hitcher
A prisoner of the white lines of the freeway
I looked a coyote right in the face
On the road to baljennie near my old home town
He went running thru the whisker wheat
