A festive platter can we well balanced with healthy & tasty food that we all crave to eat but quite hesitant to make at home with a mind set of festival food being tedious and time consuming!
Well, not really! Simple dishes, with easily available ingredients & most importantly cooking just the right quantity needed can save up a lot of cooking time without feeling the effort. For this festive platter of Ugadi 2022 I have very simple and very tasty recipes including Fruits, Dry fruits, Fresh Vegetables & Grains as well 😊
So in today's Festive Platter we have : Nimbu oranges, Pear & fig mix, Courgette & Peanut Palya, Vatani Usali, Alugade Chitranna, Nimbe hanina Thave, Udin vada, Masar vada, Gargi and Hapala!

What a droolworthy plate with soo much variety! I loved everything on the plate, you made it look so easy and so much fun!! I must incorporate a few rules - make small portions, wear a saree and cook and add some fruits to the festival plate.
Festivals and festive food are indeed so vibrant and full of life and love the fact that we are blessed with the celebration which falls throughout the whole of the year ...well almost 😅

I must say this, u use limited utensils to cook all this item ( less time for Washing dishes), u cook small amt of so many items ( enjoy more for less time involved and no waste of food), u plan ur meal preparation so well that less time in kitchen.

I love celebrating our festivals in our very own authentic way and the main objective here in this video was to share it's always nice to keep up with our traditions ...it's a pinch and really hard to see these days that many find celebrating festivals outdated and kind off have given way!

The way you incorporate fruits in thali is wonderful idea...i really want to try this festival... again great ideas,.. show us some European foods with Indian touch...as you are very well aware of South India taste buds...we want to learn more of English cuisine..m sure you will come out with new video's
