- San Antonio’s most recent batch of new trucks included multiple Peterbilt 520 and Battle Motors LET2 Pythons with 32 yard Heil Durapack bodies. Here we see one of the new Battles that runs out of the NE yard collecting a couple recycling routes. I was super excited to see these on route and to see Crane Carrier make its return to San Antonio’s fleet. I first found the driver collecting his Tuesday route but I was only able to get a few clips before he finished so I went back and filmed him on his Friday route. I’m not the biggest fan of the 32yd body but I’m a big fan of the Battle chassis, especially done up in San Antonio grey and sporting the city logo. The driver ran the truck really well and has practically broke it in already which made this even more exciting to watch. It’s also interesting to see that Heil has done away with the more cutback hopper cover that they started doing a couple years back. Overall I am super happy that the city purchased these and I hope you guys enjoy seeing this truck in action! More footage of San Antonio’s new trucks coming soon!
Big thanks to the friendly driver for letting me film!

So now they have had Mack, Autocar Condor, CCC, Pete and Battle Pythons! That has a be a record! Nice work on the vid.
The most variety they’ve had in their fleet for a while! Thanks Jaden
Thats awesome for them to buy 32 yard bodies, not many people in the industry by that size anymore its soo cool seeing a new 32 yard durapack. Great job with this one, i look forward to the Peterbilts!
It's actually a 33 yarder
Definitely an interesting choice for them to purchase these, glad you enjoyed!
On heavy days he’s able to fit more onto his truck with the extra capacity
That’s a big reason for the city purchasing these
Great video it is nice to see new trucks with battle motor cabs recently CWD bought a battle motor rear loader
Thanks, that’s really cool to hear
Awesome video man.
Thanks
@@andrewthetrashkid1435 no problem.
I love San Antonio’s brand new Battle Motors Python! I’m pretty sure this is the first time they buy them since the CNG CCC LET2s. Would also be cool to see the 520s. Battle has expanded really fast here, and San Antonio sure knows how to make a truck look even better! I love the dark red arm and gray colors. Are they still getting Amreps though? I know they got the G-S ASLs. Great video, keep up the great work!
This is the first time they have had Battle in the fleet since the last of the CCCs were sold off in 2016. I have a video of one of the 520s coming soon. Amreps are supposed to arrive later this year. San Antonio definitely knows how to make a truck look nice, thanks!
@@andrewthetrashkid1435 No problem! Can’t wait to see the 520 and the Amreps!
Is it Electric, Diesel, or CNG?
Diesel
@@oscarq180sx K, thanks
im sorry but the giant ass battle letters on the front is ugly but other than that its not that bad of a combo the 32 yard looks a little weird but still not bad
Do they drug test?
Yup at random to. 👍🏽
