Great video, can’t believe they’ve even got Amreps! Their new fleet looks great, because WM has been able to add cooler trucks to their fleet. Those ZRs were fast since they bought them in 2017. They were really fast and definitely enjoyed them. Looking forward for those two Amreps

Knight Waste Services being dropped was foreshadowed for so long, ever since the collection issues started. Sucks they're gone after all this time. I drove by their fleet last weekend and all of their Sidewinders are already gone. I can't lie though, the amount of rentals WM is running, along Pythons and Amreps to the FW fleet is really facinating. I didn't think they would take opportunity for anything other than a ZR.

Alright, I gotta say it. I don't like Republic at all, but this is the one instance where they should have kept the contract.

I don’t see this contract getting any further in the future.. it won’t benefit the customers in the long run as they can’t put as much stuff out and Frontier is gonna raise the rates as much as they want and the service will remain the same or get worse for the customers. At the end of the day, the city really only cares for the franchise fee revenue they will collect. They never care about people’s needs or reliable service.

The city government should have negotiated with Frontier on collecting extra trash at least! While once a week trash service isn’t detrimental, the fact that no extra bags will indeed affect most households.

Great video. Another one bites the dust. Republic is really on a losing streak. It's sad to see tubbed recycling quietly disappear along with all the old bins, it looked like they had quite the variety too. The mrf must have had a fun time with all of the tubs. Did they pack the old carts too? What were they doing with the pick up of crates?

That's what I think cities need their own department that picks up garbage instead of companies

Yo! Rancho Cordova, CA also had a final contract with Republic Services. They now have Atlas Disposal Services. They had some curottos, but I heard they were gonna scrap them. Or go to commercial. But the carts will remain the same, no roll out. And the other trucks will go to Citrus Heights and Elk Grove.

Super neat you were able to track this one down! Do you happen to know if this is the exact same truck that Matt (@TrashmanMatt) drove a while back? Matt used to run one that sounded exactly like this one at the Republic yard in Sacramento, so as soon as I heard this one I thought "I wonder if this is his former truck?" But either way, it runs at a decent speed! Are they still running this one, or has it been transferred to another yard? Hopefully if it's still around your area you can track it down again with a much faster driver! And that lid flip was awesome!!

one of these are in boston in its colors but its owned by Capitol Waste they needed trucks quick so they got a truck that was gonna go to texas disposal but capitol got it instead
