Hi guys can you please tell me how you catch the crab I'm taking my grandson fishing in the docklands next week he would love to catch some little crabs
The crabs live under rocks along the banks of the Yarra, not actually in the water but above the water line. Turn over rocks and you most likely will find them! They are quite abundant. Good luck fishing!
Bream feed on crustaceans, such as crabs, or shellfish like oysters and mussels. These baits or lure imitations will work most effectively mate. EP's prefer your baitfish imitation and face action and attack it on fast retrievals. Bream are more finicky and you have to fish slower for them. Good luck
@@rjfishing5063 Thanks, I did use crabs and mussels, I usually do iso fishing which are mainly fishing for bream, but the weird thing is I usually caught ep there, btw, I saw some mad guy under the comment area about “exposing“ their spot, the platform on those pillar were build by my friends, his purpose for everyone to have a safe place to fish, he has been fishing there for many of years, his not being mad that others came to fishing or saying it’s his spot, these guys just being mad because they don’t have the skills to fish or just being jealous, you don’t have to care about them, just be yourself, cheers mate

Hey mate, the spot we fished here it didn't really matter the tide. These crabs tend to live on drier land, under rocks. They are not actually in the water. Look a few meters above the water line, under rocks and you should find them!
No consideration for the people that found the spot you’s ain’t even near fisherman you only do this for views not Becuase you like it and showing every body a secret spot and how to fish it and all this stuff have some decency this is why fishing can not be enjoyed by anyone some guy finds a spot tells a couple of mates word gets out boom theres some know it all fishos on TH-cam doing a step by step tutorial on how to catch there people like you wreck perfectly good spots for no reason you could of kept quite and just went there by your self but no you had to post a TH-cam video explaining how to fish it where to fish it and what bait all for some stupid TH-cam views for nothing absolutely nothing. Unbelievable

@@fredbloggs8362 no these are not native Heloecius cordiformis crabs. These are invasive European Green Crabs. With can be taken, with no limit in Victorian waters, and used as bait.
VFA website says no crabs can be taken from the intertidal zone and the Euro Shire Crab cannot be used as live bait. Your activity is illegal either way.
I have contacted Victorian fisheries as you were using an illegal bait and you are fishing in a trespassing zone. I have also contacted the boat shed as it is their land and the only way that you can access that fishing spot is by going through job site which can lead to a $6000 find and suing from the company that is doing the development

We got there by walking mate, and I am pretty sure walking is legal

These crabs we were using are invasive species and can be collected in the state of Victoria.
