Thank you my brother! Hearing the old Johnny Horton song; 'The battle of New Orleans". "Old Hickory said we could take em by surprise if we didn't fire our muskets 'til we looked em in the eyes... GBY. Jim
Think it is very important to stock up on ‘Cold Weapons’ i.e. weapons that are non-gunpowder, bow, crossbow, sling, slingshot, blow gun, spear etc. in the end of day bullets can run out or unobtainable, all in all, don’t rely solely on any weapon you cannot make
Yes, stock up on ammunition, and don't waste it frivolously. Mantis has dry firing tools for pistols and rifles. Soon, there won't be any 45acp, 38 spcl, 357 mag, 44 mag, 50cal, and many other types of heavy rounds. No gunpowder.
Make sure you get a common recurve though. These high speed bows can ONLY shoot carbon fiber arrows, maybe a very high quality aluminum but I wouldn't risk it. A simple recurve may not be as cool, high-speed, or powerful but it's the way to go on last resort weapons. Carbon fibers usually break if you miss, or it a bone area. So they are not very reliable.
Nate! Another great video thanks. Sadly I live in Britain. We really really need a video on how we can defend ourselves with items that don't carry a five year jail term. I know . This is where we are at lol
Honestly, maybe 2-3% of the population of the United States would survive past a year after Nuclear War or other insane apocalyptic level events. A certain percentage will die immediately. Then start deducting from that number. Let's be generous, 60% of the population survives a full-scale nuclear war. 60%. Is super generous. Well, 20% will die within 3-6 months from Fallout and chronic diseases! Now we're at 40%. 20% of these people will die within 3-6 months from bad water, bad food, marauders, wild animals, weather, and random injuries. 20% remains. Out of this, the remaining 20% will be some of the most hardy humans. You can say 15% of these people will die in less than a year from various reasons. There are many ways to die in normal everyday life, not considering they're living in an insanely dangerous world now. My point is that a very small population will survive past a year, and of those that have survived. It's only unlikely that this will include YOU or ME... Statistically, we will not survive. But, hey, what do I know? I'm just a random man in the youtube comment section. 😊
As a cynical old person, who hasn't seen ANY dystopian movies ( did read A LOT of REAL SciFi, and was quite traumatized by "Remember the Alamo" ( '50's movie) I can't see how you could actually defend THAT from theft. And there won't be any live wild animals around...... 😂😂 And seeking neighbouring cattle, horses, sheep, goats, etc. will create uncool problems, for you and yours.....🤣🤣🤣👃✌️🇨🇦
The idea arrows/ bolts give you more ammo because you can just reuse it is disingenuous. Your shooting thin aluminum and plastic while you can reuse the arrow your broadheads are already dull and less likely to get full penetration on a big game animal. That doesn’t even include the damage to the fletchings and if you miss and hit a tree or a shoulder blade on a big animal you risk damaging the shaft too. Ammo and arrows are essentially the same because you can make your own rounds with old shell casings the same way you will have to maintain your arrows.
Best things about crossbows or bow and arrows it can easily go through soft body armor that's supposed to stop a 45
That's probably illegal in California
Thanks for the chill video it is good to have a balance, much love from Vancouver ❤

This is why you just stock up more ammo and don't use it a lot
The point of God is to kill the false God. Satan is false, God went down to his level to kill him. In Jesus man is saved

@@nicholas389 yeah well that's why one should stockpile especially if they are like in the US like common rounds and NATO rounds and not exotic stuff.
good shots, thank you
This video is the most Canadian thing I’ve seen all month. Like black power isn’t hard to make 🤣 but anyways. Love the channel

Crossbow.
And you can buy black powder guns
Sweet throwback to when ur channel was Normal 😁
Cmon. Running out of bullets is gonna be the least of worries. Lol
If you make it 5 years, even 10 years into whatever happens next it may be an issue, you never know😅
@@damienn5548if you make it 5 years you’d have stolen everyone else’s ammo anyway :)

An estimated over 1 trillion rounds in American homes.
Name brand pop, what a flex lol
Joerg Sprav from theslingshot channel invented it. I remember when it was made out of wood and called the legolas

Soda not pop come on man 😅
That bow will not last very long. Get a real recurve or compound bow with less moving parts than a car. Get real skills.
Repeating, yes. But auto reloading, no.
I want 1!
So you never did give an update did your dog complete his bunker that he was digging two short videos back
I like your content, but this video should have focused more on bow.
There are already 2 million videos of people shooting pop bottles on TH-cam.
It’s called SODA
How many bolts does it hold?
Want a good bow
What a waste of the grape drink 😢
Where do I get one?
That's a repeating crossbow with extra steps. Might be best to just learn to make a bow and fletch your own arrows.
You're really running the cheap COD4 red dot?
Price and name ?
K.I.S.S.
Can you run and shoot?
👍👍
Rip
Where is the link?
Soda
Soda is too old fashioned... soda fountain, soda jerk... all 50's
Im so jelly right now
Wasting all that good soda...
