These is maby a stupid question for an expert, but why do i have to do all these steps? Isn`t it possible to start directly with dismountig the thermostat like you do after approximately 30 minutes?

I must admit i found it easier to replace the water pump with the new thermostat housing all in one as your water pump is at least 16/17 years old by now

I can remember when all we had to do to change the thermostat was to take the cap off the radiator. What a pathetic exercise in design.

That's because they don't want us to be able to repair vehicles, shame on them! It can be a similar exercise just to change a headlamb bulb these days.🤬🤬🤬
