@@DevJB that timeline doesn’t work though. Brian would’ve had to go missing after the 10th, as he was reportedly seen by neighbors that weekend. His parents said they last saw him on the 14th (take what they say with a grain of salt).
I believe Brian came back with them…but he definitely went back out there. It was a scouting/planning trip. Probably brought some supplies and found some place to store them until he was able to disappear for good.
I’m sure he is filled with regret. 1 month ago he was living the good life with a beautiful girl. Now…he’s toast.
Instead of buying a new phone, he should have bought a new g** to do what needs to be done…

Lived in Tampa, I was 11, went to the fort for the day, Guy Lombardo drove up in a limo, when he was scouting locations to develope Tierra Verde. The park is still one of my favorite beach locations. I'm a nati e Floridian, though I'm not still there.

Brian Laundrie being on one of these islands is very interesting, but strange. Fresh water would be an issue very quick and these islands would be very hard to hide on as they are short scrub. Now if he brave enough to take that canoe all the way south of Marco Island. The chain of islands south of Marco literally hid fugitives for years. Why not start there though if that was your plan. About 150 miles though, it could certainly be done.

Boat ramp and parking are free w/camping. There was a hose at the wash station; it was stolen. This is a COUNTY park; it's full of criminals. Secure your stuff when you leave your campsite.
There is an off-leash dog beach too.

Campsite found on Egmont Key by Dog, but nothing to link it to Laundrie yet. You can get a glimpse Egmont Key at 7:45 in my video. The Family is adamant he left the campground with them and they could certainly be charged at this point if that was a lie, but he may have done some serious scouting and caching on that trip.

@@sgt.pepper4274 Sorry for the late response! My statement regarding rats came from my personal experience. I've been camping here since 1984. Back then, Racoons were an issue, and the park service eventually solved this problem. Fast forward, 2016 I spent a week there with our grandchildren. My wife noticed them (The Rats) first during the middle of the day. That seemed unusual since rats are primarily nocturnal. Not these guys. They we extremely bold and didn't seem afraid of people. They were huge! The worst part was the damage they caused at night. They chewed up my cooler, hoses and food storage bins. Just anything they could chaw on. 3 days into our stay, and my wife refusing to sit outside because we would see them at all hours of the day. She begged me to leave and jokingly threatened me with divorce if we didn't. Another camper nearby mentioned that they can get into your RV and cause major damage and that got my attention. I decide to cut my vacation short. After we left, I set up Huge Rat Traps inside my Rig to ensure I didn't bring a rat's home with me. It's a shame because although a beautiful location, and the rats being an issue, intercity and ghetto influences, and loud music blaring has made this area a Hot Spot on the weekends. Fights are a common occurrence. I haven't been back since.

@@oldsoldier8139 Dude, I've stayed there for weeks and never seen a rat, nor has anyone that I know seen a rat. There are your neighborly raccoons and if you leave food out you will attract them. You "set up Huge Rat Traps inside my Rig to ensure I didn't bring a rat's home with me." That laughing on the floor stuff, dude.🤣 Sounds like you are smoking some of the good stuff in that pipe.
