Just done this mod for a friend. Things went just as video, but two things I noticed. The new pivot point for the rhs damper needed Locktite on the screw holding it in place ( not just the large countersunk bolt holding the lowering plate), and the dipped headlight/full beam aims slightly higher now due to the lower back end. Expensive mod but can't deny it is well engineered and above all works well ❤
Used this on my 300 gts and have a few hundreds miles on it no issues. Rides and corners fine. Im 5'3 and very helpful at stops especially on uneven pavement. Vespas ride higher than other scooters
Thanks for the vid. Did this to my 300GTS MY23. Figured that the shocks need adjustments as I feel they are too stiff after the mod. Rear is bouncy. FYI
Hi Robot, Thanks for the great video, I’m located in the UK - Wales, I’ve got Vespa GTS 2021 300 Sport hpe and would like to reduce the ht of my scooter, You mentioned part Nr NV30250003 available in Europe, can you tell me the supplier please, my local Vespa dealer hasn’t heard of that part. Thanks Brian
How about a video as to why some GTS's suffer front wheel wobble. New balanced tyres, new head stock bearings, heavier Genuine Vespa bar ends. Still shimmies. So, any answers Robot please as I know I'm not the only one suffering from it ! Thanks.
Hello. Great video mate thanks!. I am looking for an opinion about my current situation with a mechanic. Recently my scooter stopped working at the side of the road. The lights came on the display, everything normal, but it just would not start. No noise at all. Took it to a mechanic who said they are 99% sure it is the ECU. I bought ECU £360 ( not cheap ). They put it on and said it has got the fuel pump working again but still the scooter isn't working. They have had my scooter for a long time, and now they are saying it is the generator I need. Now I am looking at buying one for £200 ( not cheap ). I am now getting suspicious. Did it really need a ECU? I think they took a guess and made me buy one when it wasn't needed. I think the fuel pump story is a cover up. They are saying that if I get a generator it may still need something else like a new wiring loom or something. Seriously I am supposed to buy these things one after the other with cash I do not have? The scooter has done 59000 miles, but the engine was changed at 50000, so the stator ( generator ) has not got much use at all. My previous stator was still fine after 500000, which I no longer have. Here is what I cannot get my head round. What are the odds that when I pulled up at the side of the road to have a short rest, both the ECU and the generator packed in at the same time? I just cannot believe this is the case. Especially when the generator has done such low milage. My scooter is at a garage in bits, and I now feel reluctant to buy this generator for them to put in. I have lost my trust and faith in the company. Please can you give me your opinion on both these parts failing at the exact same time I pulled over? Am I right to feel suspicious? Many thanks

Hello iam 5.3 to..
Iam looking for a gts300, i really like this scooter. Do you think it's possible for me?
Thanks.
Does this not make the Pet Carrier hit the engine components when hitting bumps while riding???

Can you use the same kit to raise it an inch?
Love those wheels
Awesome!
Any way to also lower the front?
There are OKD and YSS they having lowing 1-2.5 inch or using Ohlin and Stage6 custom. It regularly in Asia.
Does lowering it do anything to the handling?
No. Just handy for small people that can't touch the floor
yes, reduced ground clearance in hard cornering....
@@daviddee7103 So you wouldn't be able to lean as far?
@@drdreddmanofmystery9482 Some people just don't have the mental acumen for riding on two wheels.
You are one of those people.

Why would it not work with other shocks and exhaust?
Hey Robot, does this work on a 2024 GTS Super?
Super 1A
And how about to get it higher?
Take two Bong Rips.
How about a video as to why some GTS's suffer front wheel wobble.
New balanced tyres, new head stock bearings, heavier Genuine Vespa bar ends. Still shimmies.
So, any answers Robot please as I know I'm not the only one suffering from it !
Thanks.
Front fork has a new little second arm that works with the suspension to avoid that problem, not sure if since 22 or 23...
also, on my 2010 I use a front bitubo shock, and almost no shimmie now; (checking balanced tyres, also with Heidenau winter tyres even better
My 2016 has the 'odd' front fitting lower end. It's at 90° to the before and after 2016 - 2019
Robot, would this kit work for the Royal Alloy GP300? Also that's a fine hat you're wearing.
What is color code for this vespa?
GREEN RELAX
Will this kit work on the Liberty 150, 2021model ? Thank you.
Hi Scooter, does the 2022 GTS front rack fit the 2024 GTS classic ?
Have you ever chopped up a Vespa and put a bigger motorwill piaggio I have a piaggio I'm about to do that with it's a 50cc I want to put something
Where can i buy this kit?
Would have to be really short to need to lower a Vespa.
