This is a really good-looking lock, the glossy finish really gives it a premium feel, but what material is it? because if it is regular plastic, it will get scratches very easily. One thing I recommend you to use is rechargeable batteries for this, it will be good :) BTW, how much will these last, approx? I like that they provide installation, otherwise doing it by ourselves is ok ok, but a normal carpenter will ruin this 😅

Of you can drill the holes as per the template to pass the wires through it should work. The door needs to be at least 35 cm thick at least where the lock is being installed. The weight also might be a problem, but I feel the free installation by qubo will not be possible.

Is there any mode available like a "Public mode" wherein despite closing the door, the door doesn't lock automatically allowing multiple entries and exits??

It's quite secure, I have it installed on my front door. I set the whole family fingerprints and they can enter without a key. The handle won't open the door unless an unlock method is used(fingerpint, card, number or key). It's disconnected and the motor will activate only when you unlock it.
Even if you forget the key you can open the door and who ever you've setup access to don't need a key as it's unlocked via your fingerprint. It locks automatically once closed within a few seconds, so whoever has unlock access only can open it. The keys are also quite different from standard keys and are not easy to recreate.
The handle disengages when closed. So turning the handle won't open the door unless you use an unlock method. Pulling the handle up engages the deadbolt making it more secure.
@@TalkingstuffNet So we have to use an unlock method every time? What if a non-resident, non-registered individual wants multiple access to enter? Like a friend or a relative? Do they have to enter OTP multiple times?
There should be a stay unlocked timer, can't find it in the app. Customer care should be able to help you. Also chdck the battery level, maybe that's a problem?

It's only for emergencies, you will need to change the batteries once they're dead. The micro USB port is to connect a powerbank to jump the lock for emergencies.

We cannot leave it in unlocked position continuously, it Locks automatically after a few seconds as a safety feature.

There doesn't seem to be any option to keep the door always unlocked.

It has 4 pre-generated otp's which can be shared with your guests. They can be found on the app.

I don't think so as we need the strike plate to be on the door frame.
Whats the difference between select essentila elite smat locks of quobo
The select is bigger, has 5 locking bolts instead of 2, comes with more RFID cards. Features wise they're similar.

Yeah, they'll need to enter the pass code whenever they need to enter.

30mm door thickness will it get fixed?
This lock needs 35mm minimum, it can be installed on smaller doors but the spacers need to be cut to fit. Qubo installation engineer may not do it.

After How long battery need to replace
It's been a year and it's still at 78%. As per use the battery will discharge, but looks it will last at least two years.

A new problem has come up with my smart door select. It is not locking after every unlock. The door remains open after someone as authenticated.
