And they announced a new Ojama card WITH A DISCARD EFFECT the day after he made a video with Ojama Lime doing stand-up in front of Dark World monsters.
They weren't all Dark World though. Oddly Demise, King of Armageddon was right in the middle, despite not being related to the Dark World monsters.

@@leothewhiteranger The way I see it, Masked HEROes are more based on the "generic" idea of Kamen Rider with their armor design, belts, scarves, etc (with some getting a bit more specific, like holy shit Anki is trying so hard to be not-Hibiki he even has the _name_ ).
Inzektors meanwhile seem to very specifically ape Kabuto riders. Really heavy insect theming, the focus on high-tech, the armor equipping, the whole Zekt/ZECT thing, and so on.
I'd argue ultra man is more obscure now than kamen rider ya know?

In retrospect he saved Galaxy/Photons from the Create-A-Card Poll. Inzectors got a terrible equip spell while Galaxy/Photons are still open for good support. Thank you Rata we know you like Galaxy-eyes Photon Dragon
But the spell Inzektors is an excelent card! It's just not game changing
@@FranBattery95 i know im seriously late to this party, but it's not like Galaxy/photons was going to not get support. the same dang year i think they got afterglow, and being an anime kaiba-esc archetype their problem will always be not enough starters.
no, im not bitter about the fact frogs lost to galaxy/photons in the TCG lineup as well, even though the only frog cards anyone ever runs in that archetype were quiteliterally 2 toads using 2 frogs as fodder and the 4th best card in the archetypes modern incarnation is a card with a when clause...
...and as a cherry on top frogs got deleted from both the TCG and OCG more than they already where for the sins of Sprights. it's a cold day when your own archetype can't play your boss monster easier than literally any deck that can make rank 4's out of water monsters.

it's fitting that Rata is going over Inzektors, an archetype that randomly appears in a tournament once every blue moon then disappears for a millennia or two
Just checked top decks. Pure Inzektors got 4th place in the 2018 Canada Nationals. True the meta was somewhat different then, but that shows they can still be relevant.

It’s going to take more than two cards to make photons good. I’d rather inzektors have the support when they really only need a card or two to return to the limelight. They’d never be a meta deck but they’d atleast he able to compete... unlike photons...

And to think those used to be the bogeyman of an YGO era... I still have nightmares with Hornet shooting all of my spells.
Dude in 2017 I was still doing inzektor loops like crazy and that was with hornet at 1. I haven’t played yugioh in a fair bit but I imagine with all of this generic insect support I can pull it off even better. You can pull off a near infinite loop with mantis and hornet and it’s fucking harilous. Shit would get stopped now if it’s the like 100 hand traps that people run nowadays tho

@любэ шкоро oh no no. They had Spoofing since Circut Breaker. Never even got past table 500. It was only till Flames of Destruction came out with Multifaker did it finally became meta. Just ask anyone and they will all say without Multifaker, they would be dead in the water.

Given the number of people in the comments specifically saying they are voting photon (some saying they voted many times), be it either in spite, as a fuck you to inzektors (a deck lots of people hate), or simply because they love photons gives pause to that idea.

When I was a wee kid, I remember I had like, 4 or 5 archfiend cards (I mean, I had Summoned Skull and Beast of Talwar, but nobody counts them), and I thought they were awful, but always wanted to get enough of them to work.

I can’t help but think while listening “this deck was able to keep up with windups? How?”
Someone need to explain this well.
If windup can't handloop (handtrap or bad draws idk) or this draws dragonfly (better)/centipede while ladybug/hornet (better) is in grave, inzektor wins. Key aspect is: summon effect of dragonfly (from deck) and centipede (add from deck) aren't once per turn. Just watch some old replays from yugiohtube. If the loop resolves [have hornet/ladybug+ dragonfly and any insect/zekt to equip---->summon dragonfly, equip hornet, pitch it to pop something (if you poped something equipped to dragonfly, you summon two centipedes from deck) , dragonfly summon centipedes, add equipable insect (gigamantis/weevil) equip it to dragonfly, centipede equips hornet, use hornet pop whatever equipped to dragonfly, dragonfly summons from deck and mantis/weevil summon from grave etc.] You usually otk by popping everything with hornet or end on a xyz board thanks to lv giving abilities of ladybug while looping...takes too long though, just like my comment
Once you get a hornet in grave, a single dragonfly gets you pop 2, a search, and a rank 3.
Centepede gets you a pop and a search.
Also, backrow and handtraps are a thing, given their entire engine is about 9 cards.

Rata is to blame for a new Ojama card for coming into existance. Ojama pink. And we will blame MegaCaptial G of Ojama gets a fusion spell that will make Ojama Tier Zero. GOOGLE OJAMA PINK.
The thing I love about the opening sketch is that it implies that rata’s decent into madness is completely independent from Shape.
However I think (in lore) the Bake Sale Outfit that Shape gave to rata awoke something in him and Rata’s search for Estrogen to finally fulfil his dream to become a Femboy as a Parallel to Shapes Duel/Review Energy. I think eventually Shape will be the completely sane character in contrast to Rata’s madness.
The best partnership since Yubel and Judai.
