Still using it as my primary, purchased on the very first sale somewhere in late Aug 2018, still rocking thanks to its amazing customization community, working flawlessly (atleast more stable compared to current gen phones under 20k), its amazing how a 5yr old sensor on this thing does a 4k 60fps, and it goes support 4g+, the only phone to come closer to this in terms of value for money is the F5, during the sale a lot on 'em have bought with exchange for around 18-19k which defo imo is a great price to buy the F5.
Let's be honest, that ONE phone that you're talking about might well be the POCO F5, with all those power-packed specs at such a low price. Me also using Poco F5. It awesome in any aspect expect the quality of the phone. Firstly I didn't noticed, but later on I feel the quality is not that good. The plastic back is the main thing, when we fire up the sound above 60%,plastic back gets heavily vibrated in some frequencies. I played a racing game(drive zone),while playing that game the sound of the car makes the phone heavily vibrates on the back(but that vibration really gives the feel of driving that car😅(like PS4,xbox),that feedback from back gives an amazing gaming experience.lol😅) In reality the build quality is the one thing that I feel bad about this device. Using the 6/64 GB variant from the last 5 years since 2018. Probably the best phone considering price to performance ratio. Still finding a reason to upgrade to a newer phone. Gotta upgrade soon though
I'm using Awaken OS, have the old Gcam, don't remember the version but that's the best one. Sometimes I feel Poco Gcam takes better pictures than my iPhone 15 plus.
Bought the armoured edition 8/256 for 24k back then, still using it with a changed battery. With G-cam it still takes awesome photos that you can easily compare with a 30k phone today. Great value and great experience. Legend!
In 2018 I purchased this poco F1 from my first earned money and still continuing with this phone. To be honest it is worth to have this phone and I am very fortunate and trusted poco brand at start of this launch and still no regret 🙌
Still using it since January 2019, had a battery change last year. Planning to continue for 2 more years ; only challenge is that MS-Teams doesnt support Andriod-10 for my work organisation
You know what! I still have an 8-year old Lumia 830. Though it is not a daily driver and with the capacitive buttons not working, it is still a gem of a phone with deep black color, always-on-display, intuitive UI (personal opinion), and the fluidity that is Windows Mobile.
I guess the year 2018 was the best year of value for money phones, ZenFone 5z, Poco F1 and OnePlus 6 was launched with SD845. I still own ZenFone 5z, and i can proudly say, it's still working awesome. But my friend's poco f1 starts lagging after 3yrs. 🙌
Watching this video on poco F1. 5 years down the line the phone still working like beast. Just changes display 3 times. Overall happy to have this phone
Please keep making such videos!! Presently choosing a phone has become a tough task. And the ones we like are notoriously expensive. So yes if the budget doesn't allow one to buy a latest phone one can go with old king phones just like moto G32, poco F1
I still have my poco f1 which is now my secondary device and I am using iphone 13 as my main but already my Iphone display gave up on me after a year and halfs of use but my poco is running strong with just battery drain issue. This was the best phone I had and genuinely made me happy when I got it
Poco F2 Pro and Poco F4 were the true successors of Poco F1. Poco F5 doesn't have 8 series processor. Also F5 lacks in many aspects apart from performance like camera and display. So we cannot call it a flagship grade phone.
I was using it from 2019 , recently switched because of calling issue a lot of call drops but it was something really very very impressive and amazing phones which were ever made
Mate, custom roms are pretty practical. Especially with the android 13 and 14 custom roms. Stuff like arrow os and derpfest os just install with ease, provided you've done the prior setup and just work. Banking apps will work too. It'll give you greater privacy due to fewer google services/apps, better security, more features, etc. And you are heavily underestimating this thing's customization value. For ~10k rupees, and with custom rom + gcam, this thing is essentially a pixel 3 xl with a worse display. And being such a famous phone, this thing will receive updates in the custom rom community. And because its xiaomi, it will crap on other phones in terms of customization. So no, even if you don't know much about custom roms, the poco f1 is the perfect phone to experiment with them since its at such a low price and packs killer specs.
Currently watching this on my poco f1. Been using it since December 2018. Have given consideration multiple times to purchasing a new one, but continue to use the same and very contently. Hoping to use it as long as it lasts(atleast 2 more years). 🙌
Poco F1 completed 5 years. Still working fine. Battery replaced a year ago in Poco Service Center. But the same issue still persists. Heating issue. Go out in sunlight, start using camera. May be 5-10 mins Max. Camera app will close. Can't open until it cools down. 4K feature is there. But it generates more heat.
The recipe for flagship killer in 2023 : SD 7 gen 3 50 mp wide + 12 mp uw + 10 mp telephoto 12mp selfie cam Physical / IDS finger print scanner 120Hz Oled Ufs 3.2 & 8gb Ram All plastic bulid ok😅 Under ₹18k for 8+128gb . If this happens it is going to be 💥💥💥💥 . ✌🏾✌🏾

I dont know why people don't consider Poco F3 as the true successor to Poco F1, but for me it absolutely is. Albeit being priced slightly higher at launch, its price reduced sharply within a few months, it had a flagship processor, good enough camera, a premium design, flagship display, stereo speakers and good haptics. The ommission of headphone jack was definitely a bummer but its pros substantially outweighed the cons.
Been using this phone since 2019 and still runs like day one. Not a single lag, glitch or stutter. Have dropped it many times and got wet also. Still holding up like a champ. Proud owner of this legendary beast. #PocoF1 #legendary
Got it in 2018, I still use it with - Elixir OS- and this thing and make some 2023 phones run for the money, also it has best in class face unlock and simple design, its sturdy with so many drops it still holds up, i only changed the battery and its just riding as always. Even the camera is pretty good and get you decent photos, i love it and only my new Z Fold 3 got my eye and made me switch but before the fold 3 not a single mobile made me switch except the LG wing which is just getting dust somewhere in my drawer
I gave that phone to may dad.. and it still rocks!! The iR sensor was awesome. I'm using iQOO but i miss that feature of facial unlock in extreme darkness
I bought oneplus 2 then oneplus 6 and now i have poco f5. Really value for money awsome smooth and performance. Also i removed bloatwares and the software experience is very clean like high end phones.
Watching this video on my Poco F1 I bought back in 2020, still works great. Only problems I face are Battery which lasts a day with moderate usage and low sound problem which I think might be due to dust accumulation.
Watching this on my poco F1. Bought it on 6 jan 2019. Almost 5 years. Undoubtedly one of best phones to enter in market. F1 showed what phone companies can make. Played pubg for 3.5 years. In pandemic literally i used to drain the phone for like 6-7 times a day. Camera is still competitive thanks to gcam. Facelock, fingerprint still working flawlessly. Currently using it for day to day normal tasks and its holding up. Yes bugs are there but I think i got used to it. But finally as a respect im going to give him rest. Quite a emotional goodbye.

AOSPA topaz 6 with kawai kernel, using from like 1-2 months now@@technologicmind
Legend!
Which gcam version??
Latest gcam version link?
Getting Android 14 soon on this beast
I am using it from last 4.5 years and my phone hangs a lot. It's so frustrating. Any way to make it faster?
Watching this video in Poco F1❤️❤️
5 years now, still using as secondary Phone
3:30 PCO F1 runs 4G+ support fine. Correct it
In 2018 I purchased this poco F1 from my first earned money and still continuing with this phone. To be honest it is worth to have this phone and I am very fortunate and trusted poco brand at start of this launch and still no regret 🙌
anyone noticed very slow ringing sound in background like somekind of music ???? in end 4:15
Mere paas aaj bhi hain
Mast chal rha hai
Dslr level camera ❤
Watching this with my Poco F1 :) using for the last 4+ Years.
Changed the battery only once.
Running on Custom Rom.
Using S22U right now waiting for S24U now but this Poco F1 is still my secondary device and my favorite phone I've owned so far. Legendary.
Poco F3gt 🤝❣️🫴🔥 best poco after F1 and underrated too
I still have my poco f1 which is now my secondary device and I am using iphone 13 as my main but already my Iphone display gave up on me after a year and halfs of use but my poco is running strong with just battery drain issue.
I was using it from 2019 , recently switched because of calling issue a lot of call drops but it was something really very very impressive and amazing phones which were ever made
My poco 5 year completed , proud to be poco owner I will use it atleast 4 more years . ❤❤
Used for 5 years launch till now.. never lagged, good photos, good gaming ..
Currently watching this on my poco f1. Been using it since December 2018. Have given consideration multiple times to purchasing a new one, but continue to use the same and very contently. Hoping to use it as long as it lasts(atleast 2 more years). 🙌
Still have both of F1s working just fine. Flashed the pixel experience on it and they are smooth as ever.
i bought it on release and i swear to god it served well till 2024 when it got outdated so i bought the x6 pro and now it is so cool to use
The recipe for flagship killer in 2023 :
SD 7 gen 3
50 mp wide + 12 mp uw + 10 mp telephoto
12mp selfie cam
Physical / IDS finger print scanner
120Hz Oled
Ufs 3.2 & 8gb Ram
All plastic bulid ok😅
Under ₹18k for 8+128gb .
If this happens it is going to be 💥💥💥💥 .
✌🏾✌🏾
I still use it along with iPhone 13 as a daily driver these days. Hard to get such compact practical phones these days :-)
This was my first flagship phone ! After that I used iPhone 12 mini , 12 pro max , 13 pro max , samsung s20+ sd version . Currently I am using iPhone 13 pro max along with 12 mini however I still used poco f1 . I am using custom rom for google photos unlimited storage.
I was a proud poco f1 owner and have been using it for 4.5 years no problem at all ...i changed the battery 2 times I was a heavy gamer btw even after 4 year it never slowed down that's impressive.
I have been looking for an upgrade
And I bought iqoo 11 by exchanging my poco and got the iqoo 11 for 43k ...😊
Still using it as a secondary phone with pixel rom. Swapped the battery out recently with a duplicate one, unfortunately Poco is not supporting the phone in service center anymore (no spares).
I love your videos beebomco!💚🇮🇳💚🇮🇳💚🇮🇳💚🇮🇳💚🇮🇳
I have bought a Poco F1 on the launch day sale and used it for 3.5 years and now I have upgraded to Poco F5, this too was bought on day 1 of sale.
bought it almost 5.25 years back .. still using it as my primary device .. working fine .. no issue .. i have an ipad , a mac .. will uprage to 15 pro max soon .. but this phone will always be in my memory as it was with me since my 8th class to my first year ..
Wow bro you are rich 🙌🏻
Best phone i ever had ,rooted it overclocked it did a pixel software and g cam in it was giving crazy picture , best night shots too but i lost the phone while riding my bike, miss it .
We have got one Poco F1 as replacement for a Poco X2 which had motherboard issue. Now its with us as a backup phone.
This video I'm watching #pocoF1
I'm poco user 🎉❤
Still using the poco f1 since the start release date. This is the best till date just changed the battery running smooth and perfectly flawless.
Was using POCO F1 since 2019, last month upgraded my self to S23. now planning to use it as my back up phone.
I love pocof1 ....it was beast ..but still using this phone...got at 2019 played many heavy games like pubg, fortnite, call of duty , worked very smoothly.. changed battery once still using same charger...no issues so far flawless performance...got lot of memories with this baby...I still use this one....still I wish to buy this model again...Never faced any lag for 5 years.....
MY POCO F1 FACING BATTERY DRAIN AND AUTOMATIC SWITCHOFF ,IS THIS CAUSE YOU TO CHANGE BATTERY? HOW IS YOUR EXPERIENCE BY CHANGING THE BATTERY?? IWANT TO FIX MY PHONE'S PROBLEM😐 PLS HELP ME
I dont know why people don't consider Poco F3 as the true successor to Poco F1, but for me it absolutely is.
I am using since 2019 till 2023 n still using, not even slow n no charging issue, the best phone
I gave that phone to may dad.. and it still rocks!! The iR sensor was awesome. I'm using iQOO but i miss that feature of facial unlock in extreme darkness
Watching on my Poco F1 😎 5th anniversary of my poco completed
🙌 Watching this video on a Poco F1 bought in 2019, using it as my daily driver. Runs smooth till this day.
Still have the poco f1 with me. Running Android 14. Smooth as a butter
We need phone like Poco F1 again
Watching this video on my poco f1 ❤
I bought oneplus 2 then oneplus 6 and now i have poco f5. Really value for money awsome smooth and performance. Also i removed bloatwares and the software experience is very clean like high end phones.
still using as my primary device 💀👌👌
it's running Android 14 now!!! 🔥
Watching this video on my Poco F1 I bought back in 2020, still works great. Only problems I face are Battery which lasts a day with moderate usage and low sound problem which I think might be due to dust accumulation.
Just upgraded from my Poco F1(running A13 Arrow OS) to Nothing Phone 2, still performs so well with the proper custom rom
Still using This Legend
Few days ago changed battery
& Flagship killing started again
I remember how the hype was when this phone launched. The very first and best flagship killer of all time. Can't believe it was five years ago, Xiaomi was the first brand to start the trend of providing great things at affordable price ❤
Present owner, using it for 5 years now. Smooth and sweet still.
