So many talented singers through the generations both black and white and mixtures of many colors and races from all countries that love music, Jazz, and blues. Thank you for this concert with so much nostalgic music and lyrics in memory. Stunning Ms. Joy is, with Mr. Cohen's piano a luscious delight. ❤️🎶 What would the world do without music and art? Unbelievable. Thank you very much for sharing this moment of inspiration and beauty. At times it was like listening to Ella, for the perfection, the control and the timbre, but she's already her own. And she's so young... I wish I could live 40 years more to know what she's capable of then.
Emmett is a beast on the keys and Samara is a joy to experience live. I recently had that wonderful time of being in the same room with the poised and gifted young lady. Between the two of them; I had to chuckle, on whose beautiful tresses took more work in arranging. The package is complete: tasty and artfully shared. It is especially heartening to see these young folks putting in the work. Bravo!!

Last Sunday night, I was enjoying Samara Joy at the Falcon in Marlboro, NY!!! She is as pleasant, receptive, approachable and genuine as who you see here. The concert was the best gift I could ever give to myself, as she's such an amazing performer!!! Will definitely love to see her again!!! ❤️❤️❤️

1/7/24: I'm on the late freight but, ever since seeing her for the first-time last week, I have been scouring TH-cam for every performance/interview she's done. I love how she acknowledges the musicians in her band by naming them to the audience. She is captivatingly talented, well-spoken, gorgeous and with a very likeable personality but, most of all, she loves her family and is very humble and sincerely appreciates the success God has blessed her with; I just love her and wish her all the best in her career.
I heard her for the first time on the radio today, and I thought it had to be some singer from the 50s who had somehow flown under my radar. Crikey! Color me WICKEDLY impressed with Samara Joy.

She’s a wonderful departure from the so called culture. Equally appreciated overseas in Europe -nice to see she has a home anywhere in the world! She has a beautiful figure but she has to shake no ass. She can stand flat footed and sing up and down the scale and therefore needs no auto tune, no back up singers to scream and moan over her. She does not need Dr. Dre to drop a beat or Cardi B to rap a foul sexist lyric over the pure lyricism of Ella, Carmen, Billie, Sarah to bring us the beautiful songs of joy and woe woven so fine in real life.
