If you are present for a seizure, if they are major seizure that they lose full function of their body and have convulsions is to make sure they are in a safe area, move furniture, and other hard objects that flailing limbs could strike or be stuck on. Ease them to the floor and get a pillow (rolled up coat or shirt works as well) under their head, and DO NOT STICK ANYTHING IN THEIR MOUTH, NOTHING! Likely when they come out of the seizure they will be very tired, and lethargic, this is normal, again reassure them, let them know they are okay, some people may need to know what happened as not all have auras or other warning signs, and have no recollection of what happened to them over the last few seconds or minutes. The first story reminds me of my mom SOOO much and I feel for that kid....my mother would go into my room JUST to find things she thought was "suspicious" and then sit me down to yell at me for it. It wasn't until I was older that I learned that not giving your child a sense of privacy in their own home can lead to mental health issues and psychological problems since there's no reason to feel like they have independence or safety. And it really, REALLY sucks.
So.. for that last story. When OP was cooking his garlic bread... the kid got sick. I think that OP needs to be extra careful, he’s got a friggin vampire as a neighbor!!
I had no idea entitled parents could control their dreams, or that it makes sense to hold a teenager to a promise they definitely didn't understand when they made as a 5 year old.
First story ... God, the whole "I want another kid" thing.. Sounds a lot like my brother's gf. She keeps "falling pregnant" every year and a half to 2 years, just enough so she can stay at home to take care of the baby and not go to work... They have 6 kids now. She's a terrible mother who doesn't care for her children, she's basically letting them do whatever they want and get mad at my brother when he tries to discipline them... They are his kids too, damn it. Thankfully, she should be snipped now, after doctors somehow managed to convince her it was for the best for her own health (she's obese, like 300lbs), has diabetes and other crap). They did the operation when she gave birth to the sixth one.
After the first baby, didn't your brother learn about this things called condoms? Or even better, getting full custody of the child and leaving his gf?
My cousin and her husband announced they were going to try for a baby. Now both of them at the time were living in a house paid for by my cousin's father and both were working low paying jobs and both in the middle of college. I just simply asked if that was a good idea knowing their financial situation. My cousin just says I don't know anything and proceeded to have 2 kids and didn't count on getting kicked out of the house and complained about not being able to pay rent. I will say one good thing. My cousin's husband is a really active father. He loves those kids to death and always makes time for them. My cousin just has some growing up to do

Came downstairs this morning to have my hot chocolate and didn’t see the video. I went and told my mom it wasn’t up and she was like ok this is going to be a weird morning then 😂 glad you’re all good
My mother used to read my diary, too, as I found out when I came home from school and opened it to see that she'd scrawled "Grow up!" in huge letters across both facing pages [I'd been having a moan about something]. I was about 12 at the time. I immediately stopped using it: it was no longer a secure "safe space". That Christmas she got me one of those 5-year diaries that have a hasp and a tiny lock. They always have two keys, but I noticed that there was only one key with this one. "There's only one key," I said, puzzled. Mother attempted to look surprised. "Oh, is there?" And then the penny dropped, and I never wrote in that diary. How pathetically insecure must some people be that they need to spy on a child's diary? The only place a child should feel secure enough to write honestly?
11:37 What? WHY? WHAT? That women does not belong near any car or any family function for the foreseeable future. She needs to be heavily fined for making a false report.

My mother did to used to read my diary, even if i hidden between my undewaer she find it!! And when i get back from school she confront me for what i wrote, i always asked her how did she know about that and she always respond "thats not important, now answer me!!" So one day i wrote about a dream (fake one of course) and at the end this "if you mom are readding this, i hope you enjoided because if you ask me anything about this i will know that you search for my dairy again". After this she never ask me again about my dairy...oh! And i start to left my diary in my locker at school.
My mother would've gone "I don't care if you know that I'm reading your diary young lady, it's MY RIGHT as your mother to know these things." Years later she wonders why I don't come to her with my problems and don't show any interest in hers.

During my high school years I only had my mattress on the floor. I prefer it that way due to the low ceiling in my bedroom on the second floor. Years later I would get a box spring added on but no bed frame it was easier for me to roll out of bed.
@@GiordanDiodato not just forced, but also the situation. They're not going to go after a family that's broke and that's what they got, all of them. As long as it's a mattress, actually, you're good. A couch is iffy though.
@@Rhaenarys I used to sleep on a couch all the time, lol. I liked it better than a bed, haha. I still would but I can’t get a couch into my current apartment. I also preferred the mattress on the floor. For some reason I just found it more comfortable, but my parents forced me to put it on the frame 🥺 totally should have called cps on them! 🤣
@@GiordanDiodato Lots of kids have mattresses on the floor, its fine, its not child abuse, even if they're "forced to". Most modern beds are platform beds these days, they're phasing out box springs, because they're bulky and unnecessary. Whats the difference between buying your kid a platform bed for the matteress and just putting the mattress on the floor? 6 inches of height? Thats not child abuse.
About the diary story, OP can write his/her diary using his own secret codes, or he/she could invent/devise a writing system that only he/she could understand. There's a subreddit dedicated to this for reference (r/neography). Hope it helps. OP, PLEASE dont give up on writing diaries, it helps a lot especially when youre lonely. Just keep it on a safe secret place.
The woman claiming to have a seizure disorder was clearly bsing since she chose not getting a 2nd opinion or properly diagnosed by a mental health official. My mother got a 2nd opinion about hers and got an apology from a Dr. in Springfield after wearing a brainwave device for 24hrs. because he thought she was bsing when she was having seizures that were clearly undetectable by the naked eye. And who calls CPS on a parent for not putting an *adult* relative's mode of transportation ahead of a child's right to have a place to sleep? If that Karen did that to my mother, she'd punch that poor excuse of a human for taking her youngest child away over a damn car before almost dying from a grand mal seizure (some can kill and/or further disable a person if they go beyond 5 min.)
The diary story unleashed a floodgate of memories for me my mother. My privacy was nothing to her I had a diary and I hid the keys and my mother somehow knew my hidden secrets she knew everything I felt violated
5:55 kind of the same with my mom. I mean, it feels like simply accusing/claiming that she did something wrong, is illegal, and a judge saying that she's guilty of ANYTHING, is a crime in of itself
"What making pasta with a rolling pin?" Me: Uhm yes? to flatten the dough and get the air out. Then use another tool to cut it in the size you want and or the shape to fold it further.
That only applies if you're making it from scratch. Not-culinarily-inclined people usually make it with pre-made instant pasta from a box. No rolling or air or folding or non-spoon tools involved, just boil and eat. Don't be so judgemental, we do the best we can with our meager skills.
5:40 its unfortunate that a lot of parents dont think their child deserves privacy. So they resort to reading diaries, taking away doors, etc. Then have the audacity to ask "why don't you ever open up to us (your parents)?" And all these kids can think is, "well if you respected my privacy while providing a safe, and non judgmental place to talk about things maybe i would have."
Thank you for reading these entertaining stories to us who don't dare to wonder to the scary fields of reddit =) These are always making me happy and relaxed and it seems that goes for many others too. I hope you and your family are doing okey, you have sounded a bit down in last weeks videos. Take it easy, Rslash!
ED in the last story is pissed because the smell of pasta and sauce makes his daughter feel ill. Two things really stand out here: 1) What would he do if it were roadkill? Tell it to get up and walk to somewhere else?🤪 2) Why was the mom not yelling about the alleged threat with a rolling pin? Maybe someone is a little too used to her husband's exaggerations? 🤔
5:30 - Until a child can understand what they are saying, don't hold them to anything. Some concepts are too complex for them to understand and other concepts are socially taboo to explain to them. Some concepts, teens don't even understand well enough to make a proper decision... which means some things they make a choice and then learn what that option means. I volunteer for a youth group (currently closed due to events), and sometimes there is a kid that understands complex concepts... rarely do kids care enough to really consider more complex concepts well enough to understand the decision involved. They are far more likely to just agree with the adults that they like, or they pick up on an adult's biases and agree just to keep the adult from getting upset.

"Oh, is there?"
And then the penny dropped, and I never wrote in that diary.
How pathetically insecure must some people be that they need to spy on a child's diary? The only place a child should feel secure enough to write honestly?
You know how it is, your mother needs to know everything about you to make sure you're not 'naughty' and you're always a pure angel.
11:37 What? WHY? WHAT? That women does not belong near any car or any family function for the foreseeable future. She needs to be heavily fined for making a false report.
My mom made me promise when I was 5 to name my first daughter after her grandmother. She's held me to it. It's not a bad name just one I don't like. Joke's on her though. I have all boys.
OMG, I was so worried something happened to Rslash! If he was going on vacation or taking a break he would have told us so (and he'd deserve a break too) not waking up to a video was spooky. Glad it was just a missed publish button and he's okay lol 🤣
The grandmother even knew that she would outlive that car I mean she outlived a husband and 30 other cars.
"what was I going to do with a wooden spoon stir him" you underestimate a wooden spoon those things are terrifying
Was worried that you were killed by one of the Karen's you've exposed 😂 Glad you're safe
I was getting worried that he died or something
Me too. Glad I’m not the only one!
Same man, you should've seen my mom when I came zooming in to the living room panicking
Same or at least an accident… I imagined him in a coma or something because we all know that and death are the only reason he wouldn't post!

Second story: That one had a good reply. It said it happened to him as well, so he begin to write in code and his mother demamded him to decode the dairy to read it and refused.
I thought you might have been sick or something and that's why you hadn't posted i was kinda worried, great episode anyway just listened to it over on Spotify
the aunt at 8:30 really makes me think that she is doing a speedrun on destroying cars lol
Ether that or a world record lol! How the fuck does one person wreck 30 fucking cars in one lifetime?! Like shouldn't their licence be taken after like the 5th at most??!
@@licietheskeleton i wonder if she got the world record.
@@dragance9995 let's look in the Guinness Book of World Records and see 🤡
@@licietheskeleton Sure, tell me what the record is
"Sir, if the smell of my cooking is making your daughter feel ill,
it's probably because it reminds her of your cooking."
-My hypothetical response.
The EM in the second story sounded like she was sheltered from real life as a kid.
If OP2 were to continue using the diary, they would have taken the keys with them. If I had a diary, I probably would have done the same.
@@silverflight01 That would be a good choice
OP is actually a boy because of the part involving the wet dream, something only men can have.
Hold up she made you make a promise at 5 YEARS OLD?! your mom is nuts if she thinks your gonna remember that
I went over and listened on Spotify! Haha
Any parent who tells their kids that sex is bad and they should wait for marriage should punish their parents by never having sex and never giving them grandchildren and if their parents ask why they haven't, look at them in the eyes and say "You always taught me sex is bad and sinful so I just decided to never do it".
Your immersion with the fan hole almost had me rolling on the floor at work
My mother did to used to read my diary, even if i hidden between my undewaer she find it!!
@@MsKeroseneLamp exactly!!! My mother even ask me one day "why you never talk to me any More about your problems?" And i say: really mom, do you want an answer to that cuestión?" And she say yes!! ... ok BECAUSE I DONT TRUST YOU, YOU USED TO READ MY DIARY AND USE THAT INFORMATION AGAINST ME SO MANY TIMES, THAT I PREFER TO TALK TO A STRAGER THAN TO TALK TO YOU. She never say anything again ever again.

If you are a new english speaker, or have learning issues, you should do a few spelling drills with words you have trouble with and read as much as possible. As someone who struggled with early learning problems I can say this helped with my spelling issues.
Ps, I'm not trying to make you feel bad or judge, just trying to help! 😊

Legit mistake or publicity stunt? 👀
Kidding. Glad everything's good, and you brought us Entitled Parents to boot!! 🎉
Why would you even give that entitled aunt who called CPS the free car she didn't want in the first place? Should have gone "You had your chance, go and find your own car without our help." and either kept it as a beginner car for OP, sold it or gotten rid of it another way.
Indeed!!
my mother still snoops around my room. im 22, i live with my father (whos amazing) and theyve been divorced since i was 15 and lived separately since then too. this isnt even her house and she still feels entitled to snoop through my shit.
That behaviour (your mums) is so utterly ridiculous that I struggle to conceptualise it. Her entitlement is kffkdtjdgnetjzru
Preteen: *going through puberty*.
The mom: And I took that, personally.
Glad to see you're okay rSlash. You had us worried there for a bit.
"Well, paint my face and call me a clown." Pure poetry, lol! I gotta use that one.
I was ready to call the authorities for a wellness check. Glad you're ok and happy to officially start my day. 😁😁

But it is so heartwarming to see how mant people were concerned something was wrong and hoping he was well.
I may not always agree with his opinions (i mostly watch AITA videos as usually entitled is to hard for me to watch) but he seems like a genuinely good dude overall
"if the smell is making you sick, you don't yell at the smell, you LEAVE the smell"
(I nearly took a drink, I would have spit it out over that line)
Sleeping on a mattress on the floor is child abuse now? Interesting, I always preferred it..
kinda depends if you're forced to or not
During my high school years I only had my mattress on the floor.
I'm not the only one that was about to have a heart attack this morning when I couldn't find my R/Slash video, am I? 🤣🤣
1:20 ('specially at "She told him that she doesn't care what he wants.") the/my magic words for "end the relationship at the drop of a hat."
“Who’s gonna believe op anyways?”
Literally everyone in Reddit and this video “I believe”
Legit, I was like "HE'S LATE, WHAT HAPPENED"
I love the progression to more and more radio theater! The voices, the expressiveness, the use of the room for effect... Just great!
I can’t tell you how many times I refreshed my TH-cam waiting for this!
That last story - if someone yelled at me about the smell of my cooking, I'd break out the Chinese salted fish & preserved black bean & garlic.
The diary story unleashed a floodgate of memories for me my mother. My privacy was nothing to her I had a diary and I hid the keys and my mother somehow knew my hidden secrets she knew everything I felt violated

"Yell at the Smell" sounds like the name of a heavy metal band.
5:55 kind of the same with my mom. I mean, it feels like simply accusing/claiming that she did something wrong, is illegal, and a judge saying that she's guilty of ANYTHING, is a crime in of itself
These stories were pretty intense today!
12:46 ARE YOU COOKING? Me: dying of laughter in the background and saying to myself what kind of question is that?
"What making pasta with a rolling pin?"
Me: Uhm yes? to flatten the dough and get the air out.
@@WZahnle It was not ment as judgemental, all my pasta come out of the box as well. Just happen to know the process (sort off) how to make pasta.
@@NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEJ So you were just nitpicking his statement when you knew exactly what he meant, just so you could show off?
Sorry, that comment was a little mean.
No problem man, and if it does come over as nitpicky: My Apologies. I was just trying to expand knowledge.
ED in the last story is pissed because the smell of pasta and sauce makes his daughter feel ill.
Two things really stand out here:
1) What would he do if it were roadkill? Tell it to get up and walk to somewhere else?🤪
2) Why was the mom not yelling about the alleged threat with a rolling pin? Maybe someone is a little too used to her husband's exaggerations? 🤔

I was right along with everyone else who got concerned 😂. Guess this is a “TIFU I didn’t press publish and made my fanbase panic”
