- Guys Dustin Poirier is so humble and today I decided to break down his post fight actions and let you see for yourself just how humble and classy he really is in victory especially in comparison to a scumbag like Colby Covington and Conor McGregor who he is morally superior to in every way. Let me know what you think of his actions after UFC 281 vs Michael Chandler and after some other fights of his.

The Dan Hooker moment was really the only moment that was a weird moment from Dustin. But both the Chandler and McGregor fights were understandable as both were cheating constantly and Conor was talking lots of trash and threatening to kill his kid. And honestly I feel like the Max Holloway instance is more a poor choice of words.
To be fair tho Poirier never said he was trying to be a role model or anything and like you mentioned earlier he never said that he was a humble guy,,And honestly he isn’t the nicest guy but he seems like a good guy who works hard and cares about his family.
I do agree with you 100% that he isn’t the super nice humble guy that his fans play him up to be.

Even Porier's ATT homie Jorge Masvidal didn't necessarily out Dustin or say he's a bully or ANYTHING like that but Masvidal did say that Dustin is 1 of the guys at ATT that nobody likes to spar cus he drops dudes on the regular even in light sparring he said Dustin is always pedal to the medal as if it's a title fight which I'll AGAIN repeat how Colby only confirmed what Jorge said only months later when Colby released that footage of Dustin sparring in his training camp for Khabib & 1st off why the fuck was Dustin sparring an amateur while getting ready to fight Khabib for the belt? Then after Dustin drops The poor amateur Dustin immediately yells "WOOOOOOO!" and starts running around the cage yelling "IM THE CHAMP OF THE WORLD! BEST IN THE MOTHERFUCKIN WORLD!"
The guy in the video was a pro boxer colby was trolling him and Dans the one who said he’s gonna smash his face in so Dustin repeated what he said after a war of a fight and then immediately showed respect to him and said he’s on the right track

The thing I thought was stupid about that sparring session was the fact that Dustin was doing nothing but boxing in that sparring session and then after he drops the duties running around talking about he's the champion of the world missing that and I'm wondering in my head like why is he not practicing off his back trying to get up cuz that's where he's going to be going to get taken down he's going to be on his back he needs to be practicing getting up he doesn't need 2 be practicing his fuckin boxing of all things

Chandler was being corny, cheating and hitting back of the head. Hooker talked a lot of trash but I think he was just intense. McGregor one was due to trash talk.

I see what ur saying too but it's not just this incident, I've seen Dustin act like a dick in several of his wins but 1 of them was similar to this like after he beat Eddie Alvarez and they had some beef going into the fight cuz Eddie hit Dustin w/an illegal strike in their 1st fight, but there's been other times too

You gotta respect Chandler for how he handled Dustin. He just lost and is still being pretty calm about the situation but in Dustin's defence this is his life, so when "cheating" and unfair stuff is involved he's not gonna be a fan. But it was a very intense fight Dustin got hit hard and the emotions are high, same thing with the Hooker fight. I feel like under normal circumstances it would be easier to keep his cool. I'd rather have him act like this than be fake and humble and it's not like he preaches about being humble constantly I just respect him for being himself wether or not he's being a bad sport or not. But your points are very valid and I feel like most people in Chandlers shoes after Dustin confronted him wouldn't take it as well

As for him being a nice/humble guy, if anyone has ever met Dustin in person he is actually 1 of the coolest, most down to earth & nicest professional athlete you could meet really.
Get real though, cuz if anybody has actually followed him & his career from the very early days like I have, then they know that he has had a very dark side that he probably still struggles to this day to fully get rid of, because basically that side of him is what got him through those gym doors for the 1st time. Now with all the hard work, dedication & his commitment to the sport he's been ranked in the top 10 or even the top 5 for how long now? He has never claimed to be humble/nice & he has every right to speak his piece before, during or after the fight whether it's a win or lose. He's no different than any of the other fighters in the UFC that speak out. Anyway, I get what's being said in the video & some comments, but I disagree with it. With the wish & hope that everybody would actually do all the necessary research to provide an adequate depiction of who DP actually is, what he has accomplished, what he's done for the sport & most of all who he has become. I truly think he is but my God did he have such a weird axe to grind with Chandler. It was so, so odd how he was just grinding his teeth at the man pre-fight, the fight occurred and he won despite losing the majority of it, at least rightly was pissed off about Chandler's dirtiness (to me, only the back of the head shots were dirty and needed a point deduction, the blood was unfortunate but Chandler's nose is clogged and he's right on top of Poirier, the fingers in the mouth were accidental and Poirier rightly bit down on them) but then totally dismissed Chandler's attempt to be decent, given that, at least from what I can see, the fouls were accidental. Then, when it did seem like he accepted Chandler, he then took the piss out of him again backstage. He just couldn't leave it despite winning and despite them literally hashing it out post fight and that lost some of my respect.
