- I'm sure some of you have been waiting on this video lol well here it is. Justin's K24/K20 EG Hatch vs my H2B coupe out on the streets of Mexico!! (All footage is CGI enhanced for entertainment purposes!;)

Dang I’m heartbroken. That hatch moves, definitely has work. You need more Nos. Lol. K series is a force to reckon with but I love the H’s because I love an underdog. And a good one at that.
He has cams. And he's lighter it was a given he was gonna win. Lol

K24/k20 with cams is just too dangerous. He could be making 260whp with cams.
I literally said how much power both cars make and weigh at the beginning of the video. This was a simple comparison between my car and his. Not a race that we thought would be fair. Considering the H has 40 less torque to the wheels says a lot between what can be possible.

From what I was told, if your speedometer doesn’t work your V-tec doesn’t work. Someone please confirm if this is true or not!

How did you get the ep3 seats to work in the ek ?
Somebody had the 4 brackets cut off and welded on some from a set of EK seats. They don't fit that great in the EK chassis that way tbh tho. The seat sits really high I'd actually rather have stock seats.
Take off the wrap on the H22A exhaust manifold. It will trap heat and manifold needs to be cooled down.
The header doesn’t need to be cooled it’s actually better for the heat to stay inside the manifold. The wrap helps it keep the heat inside the manifold and keeps the engine bay cooler.
@@StatusSymbol Not sure with the climate on where you at. But a lot of boyz here get header cracks from the wrap.
Thats crazy my k ek coupe use to do that its your speed sensor malfunctioning or fuses getting wet
Yeah I think it's the speed sensor. I always had a bad cluster before so I never seen that my mph would fall off like they do. Thanks for letting me know that!
Man my h2b had the same issue. I went through 3 or 4 speed sensors before the issue went away.

@@StatusSymbol Lol forreal man. I'd make sure the connector from the harness is clean and the teeth are pushed all the way in, then clean the speed sensor connector and see if it fixes it. But good luck man. Love the car ✊🏽
I think it wasn't all the way in. I pulled it out and put it back in (pause) and it's been working fine ever since.

It was tuned. I can only assume people are skipping straight to the race and not listening to anything said lol. The K series has cams and Valvetrain upgrade, the H2B is just bolt on.
24/20 set up is just dangerous though
Idk how much different a 24/20 feels in comparison to a full stock 24 but compared to his previous set up which was a 20 it's alot faster. He has better cams and bolt ons compare to before too tho.
Hey man i like your videos and watched all of them , i have a question i have a 98 EK hatch with the same H2B! Bolt ons aswell, it’s got only a race computer headers. Oh man! I had to move back to my country and can’t bring my car here! Its i México parked, sad! What would you guys do? Sell it or try to bring it to US. Off course i don’t want to spend more than the car is worth. I really love my hatch, please guys i need an advice

stock motor to motor k is the way. but once u introduce boost u can make any motor fast
Well the K series isn’t stock it has cams and built head just not ported yet. Vs the H22 is bone stock. But yeah when it comes to boost any motor is capable of being crazy.
Should just go full H? I have the t2w4 trans and it’s a beast just get yonaka h swap axles and call it a day.
H2B beats full H any day. That would be a downgrade for me.
Wont spin as bad tho i got the same set up in a 98 coupe just put h23a in it last week
Hi can you use the standard h22 loom or did you have to get a special one?
You typically wanna use the engine harness that came with your car which is what I did at first, I just added vtec wires and extended my alternator wires. I was having electrical issues and thought it was my harness so I bought a custom one and my issue was bad relays the whole time 😐😂

That h2b wasnt well sorted out. It needs a good going over and i gaurantee itd becalot closer..this is coming from a k24 ek guy

No speedo = no Vtec
My speedometer wasn't working cause it was broken not cause the speed sensor lol. But my issue was the speed sensor. I guess it wasn't fully seated. Csuse it broke couldn't be bolted in.

Need to swap in a h22a4-2b and won't get that loss of power when you shift ,if that race was a BB6 would of won all day .
If you think a Bone Stock H2B is gonna beat a Cammed K24 with a K20 head idk what to tell you bro lol. You clearly didn’t watch the beginning of the video where I explained he made way more power in a lighter weight car.

Honestly it did pretty good against the hatch! Port the head and intake manifold,throw some skunk 2 pro 2 cams and go e85,for sure you’ll take that hatch to gapple bees
Yeah me and Justin said the same thing it did pretty damn good. That's the plan eventually as well as throwing this swap in a hatch
