EK Civic JDM H23A Swap (H2B) POV Drive

This is Steven's EK Honda Civic "Hype R," initial built to EK9 Civic Type R spec, "or better," it looks great, but instead of a high-strung B-series engine under the hood, Steven went with the H2B swap. That means this EK is powered by a 2.3-liter H23A engine from a JDM Accord SIR wagon, and that engine is paired to a 5-speed LSD B-series transmission from an EK9 Civic Type R. It makes about 190 whp and 170 wtq thanks to bolt-ons and a tune, and feels great in this very light FF compact.

Crazy I got my 97 civic ek hatch back in 2006 and still have it until this day. Same flamenco black pearl paint job but with a jdm h22a and b16a2 transmission. The thing flies. It's almost as quick as my z4 e89. I still have both cars

He said it has the oem cat still. Plus that intake pipe is very restrictive so 190 sounds rite.

That's because this guy put a near stock exhaust on with stock cats. This will make 210 easy with a 3ich straight pipe
