Those horns sound really healthy, not too often you see that anymore

Odd how there's at least one electronic 4903 horn/strobe among the electromechanical ones, unless it replaced one of the latter that stopped working (probably the same deal with the Truealert). I definitely like the sound the electromechanical ones make (interesting how they all have a different pitch as well).
Let's hope that none of the people who live at that home have epilepsy, because if that system ever goes off it's almost guaranteed to give them a seizure since none of the strobes are synced.
I hope the rooms have remote strobes rather than horn/strobes (for the sake of each resident's hearing).
Best of luck in correcting the issues this system has.
0:02 Ah, one of the older squealer horn Stopper IIs!
5:31 Nice "chorus" between both of the horn/strobes in that area.
6:08 I see what appears to be a Gentex S1209-series/CO1209-series/GN-503-series detector to the right of the 9236 & emergency light, is that what it is?

Yea here at my old high school only had one 4903-9425 TrueAlert in a big classroom added out of nowhere while the rest are just 4051 and 9252 horns in halls cafiteria gym and library. System is run on 4010.

Awesome video although I have to say I feel bad that the alarm is on continuous for the elders. I think they want to keep whatever hearing they have left 😂

They might have it on continuous for the hard of hearing maybe.

The description says that the rooms have remote strobes only. But the horns in the hallways could be on continuous to increase the likelihood of those in the rooms hearing them.

    Are the 4903s smart sync?

wow brings me back 20+ years ago in my high school with the continuous simplex horns I think they where 2000 series horns catches me by surprise every time, good thing these rooms have strobes or else you probably would give half the elders a heart attack in that facility with open vacancies available after every test, kidding aside of course

why do you not pull t bar that would see if it actually works properly and nice 4903 electromechanical horns

Some pull stations have break rods in them, so you don’t want to break those.

The stopper cover alarm at the beginning sounded weird.
It also kinda sounds like a System Sensor MASS on 800 Hz Continuous
