K states - Corruption is when you follow someone or an ideal, “I believe”. Self centeredness leads to corruption. I, I am, when you sense the self centeredness of the false mind created ego arising, take two steps back to I, one step forward to I am, no further. Repeat as necessary, to avoid corruption.

But we live in a world of 'otherness' of binary-ism... If one is giving a monologue one is practising the art of oratory. Krishnamurti was a master orator and giving TH-cam shorts is probably doing him a disservice. One needs to listen to him as one listens to music - and most of his talks were about the length of a Bruckner symphony. Then one can be 'passive' and retreat from the world of otherness, meditating and reflecting.... But then one has to face the 'daily grind'; I never knew Krishnamurti being involved with this as I never knew him personally. He speaks of it, but that is his art. And a great gift he gave, as all great creative artists.

The causes of corruption are excessive self-concern and the pursuit of personal satisfaction or success. Ambition and envy. Following leaders, gurus, or ideals without questioning, which implies a denial of individual responsibility. Strong identification with religious, political, or cultural beliefs that divide people and generate conflict. Taking rigid or absolute stances on any issue, which fuels conflict and disconnection.
Corruption begins with a lack of self-knowledge and a profound disconnection from the present reality, fueled by these attitudes and behaviors.
