World isnt mechanical that is a concept and the world isnt a concept . As for Humans they are making themselves mechanical and the man cannot even see himself if he lives in concept.
Only a person who is good at heart, sufficiently intelligent, sensitive and free from the adversities of the outside world can possibly benefit from such profound teachings.
His effort is priceless. He wants the audience to understand directly but its quite difficult to understand what he is trying to say, very easy to grasp intellectually but it just becomes a part of knowledge in our brain.
When the mind is conditioned for making images about the person the observer fails to observe because previous thoughts are flashing and never try to look as is. Therefore, its very dangerous to form images with respect to human beings. One should never ever get influenced by other's praise or condemnation and should remain free from image making process. Very beautifully explained by J Krishnamurti sir why it's important to remain absolutely free from image creation. However, one should remember images of science, technology so as to take advantage of collective accumulated depository of knowledge and have an access to those when required and keep adding new creation which should evolve the process of recording, registering in the mind.. Worth listening to this video, time and again.

Basically, image means the past. Modified continuity of the past prevent seeing what Is. This leads to all the rest, like loving ideas instead of the thing. An illusion loving mind that creates fear and violence.
So true! Amazing insights like a mirror held to our mind and feels like open eyed meditation with him moving our perception deeper and deeper! I am conditioned. My response is conditioned for a situation. I cannot be free of conditioning through effort. My conditioning ends only through perception. Perception won't come through effort. We thus are not in control.
Thats not true , you have an automated response to evrything , when you see the automated response comming trough awernes , you can stop it , and act acording to your will. Therfore , if you are angry at a friend for example , you can see the enrgy build up , and decide for yourself , if you want to shout on him or not. Its your decision how you direct that energy. Unless you dont see it, than you go by your automated response.

The essence here is that register is useful for mechanical things we do in life, but when we want to be truly human, we need not to impose on reality our beliefs, our registered experiences. Meeting "as if it is the first time", not adding any "geometries of thought" is the essence of Edmund Husserl's Phaenomenology (see World-of-Life concept) and Meneghetti's ontological nexus. To achieve that the symbolic habits must fall, a serious practice is needed. It is not easy, but not impossible.
12:47 it always makes me laugh so hard seeing that he gets sometimes all excited because people don't get what he's talking about as it is in fact so simple, they are waiting for an answer from him, then he realizes pretty quickly that he felt into his own trap, which is getting excited about it and instantly calm down. The problem with image making is that it can never resemble the real person. And there is always a conflict between the image and the person. We compare the two everytime We meet. We don't see the person as they are, we see them in comparison to the image we have in our mind.

Perfectly exact and good hearted thought can solve problems. K himself is using thought to try to show us how to solve probklems through no thought. So the answer is Wrong perfect surgical thought that gets right to the heart of the problem and makes it irreflutable. Of course, it might take a very long time to get to that place.
Though can invent things and solve 3d problems and it will be helping solve. But JK talks about psychological problems. Here we know that the basic nature of thought is divisive. It first creates a storm and then offers us to give an umbrella as the solution. This round and round chase continues. Problems (invented by the thought) abound with solutions coming from the same level of thought.
-You will receive a body. -You will create thought. -This thought will create disorder. -The disorder will not be seen as such by you. -This conditioning creates illusion. -The illusion becomes truth to you, but thought cannot create truth. -You will forget all of this.

Image making is not possible without reflection. But in order to reflect on something you have to be at a distance from it. So when you say "I am good", you have already created a separateness or a distance between 'you' and goodness. Likewise, any other quality or attribute.
The meaning is not not remembering, but not register it from the point of view of the center, of the ego, which count it as gratifying or diminishing thing. He really means don't create the accompanied story that comes with the fact, the story of gratifying or condemning the self, from the ego point of view. He said I'm stupid, so my center views it as an assault, and I register that in order to defend or attack back sometime. Same with fluttery, my center likes the idea, so I register in order to feel the pleasure of the image which I think (from the center) that is good, which strengthens the center (both do). Memory you will have anyway, just the story accompanied will not come from the center, you will refuse to believe that story, since you see it's dangers.
"To Look" JK never says it's easy, it's terrifying to look within unbiased - and discovering of being a thriving extention of the established order, that fact needs more than looking alone but, together in the companion of the unfathomable.
It may be terrifying to realize that you are image making and that you believe yourself to be that, but then you realize you are not that. You are beyond that. The images and perspectives of yourself are not you. You transcend them. And that is a lovely and loving thing to know. To me, this is the key to unconditional love. When we can see beyond judgements, we can love everything unconditionally. In other words, don't judge a book by it's cover. Just my thoughts on this whole topic.
