Dude! U r the best. I have learned so much about using photoshop having never used it and have done some awesome projects based on your tutorials. Thanks so very much for all this great info.
I just have to say THANK YOU! I´ve been wanting to learn Photoshop in a deeper level and all the tutorials that i found were a bit tought to follow. Buy since video 1 i have been able to apply on my photos, some tricks that I have learned here. THANKS
Been learning from Aaron for years! The days when you taught on soft boxes and modifiers. Sound was not perfect, looked like a garage, however content was ON POINT! Thank you for doing what you do. You are an inspiration!
Great tutorial! Love your teaching style and pace. I can't believe how clear and concise your instructions are. Just wondering....is "gentleman" correct?
This is one of the best, if not the best, tutorials I've seen on TH-cam. Thank you so much for providing the shortcuts on the screen while you were applying them.
Watching your videos while working on the tutorials makes me feel propelling😊 Your materials are more professional than regular Design Institutions👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 To those who want to be a pro of Photoshop, It must be a pity to skip Aaron's tutorials!
FYI: Vertical alignment is aligning UP-DOWN along a VERTICAL LINE. Horizontal alignment is aligning LEFT-RIGHT along a HORIZONTAL line. You have it backwards. It's not a matter of personal choice or flare, it's a dictionary definition.
Great series Aaron. Here's a tip. Instead of making a selection of the entire background to use as the initial alignment target, just select Align to: Canvas in the ... (elliptical) drop down menu of the move tool.
Great video, I learned a lot. However, I couldn't the part to work where you say press to bring up the "Fill" dialogue box; it didn't work for me. (Could be I have a newer version of Photoshop) I found out that I can right-click in the marquee area and access the fill menu. Also, in playing around I found what I think to be a far quicker way to put a background behind text and it is 1. Open picture 2. Insert text 3. Draw marquee 4. Click on the layer BELOW the text (in this case the picture) and then press the "Insert Fill Layer" button - choose black - and that's it
I'm a little late watching this, great video! The only problem I'm running into here is when using the newest version of PS I can't find the Font weight anywhere. Not sure if anyone has any tips, thanks in advance if so.
I'm sticking with it every day. This morning I was editing photos and I clicked Photoshop instead of lightroom without realizing it. It's a sign....(evil laugh). Thanks Aaron.
Hey, great video as always. If you were typing in a paragraph though, would you have to write each line separately. I find it tricky If I just want to copy and paste in a paragraph for example and then manipulate it. (Edit) Ignore that, I have just discovered how to 'convert to paragraph text' :-)
Wonderfull! enjoying every lesson. I do have a question... Iff I select all and I align my text it doesn't work properly. The text does move but it jumps to weird places. Let's say i press align to centre, it jumps to the left etc. like i said, I selected all. Are there any extra setting I can adjust? all tips welcome!
great tutorial! A million thanks Aaron!!! the only thing which did not work for me was that I only got 4 different weights to choose from and you seems to have a lot more? why please :0
if you go to the font selection area and click the font you will see "more from Adobe Fonts" in the upper right corner. Follow the link and when you get to the website search for "LATO". The results should have a source for the font. Click the slider to activate it in PhotoShop. It should automatically add these to your font variables.
In 12:26 you adjust the size of the white area of the layer mask. But when I try to use the transform tool on that layer mask, it changes the size of the black portion of the layer mask. Could anyone help me out here
Because I know that your tutorials are very good I should like without watching but I forgot because I was so excited ,the problem is that when you finish this one straight away I moved to the next one without leting I like but I came back because I feel so bad to not put at least like to a video that derserve more .
Hi there! For this tutorial we used the LATO font (available with your Adobe subscription). However, some other fonts might not offer the option of "hairline". If you're unable to use the same font, try searching for fonts that naturally have a narrower, thinner appearance. Some font families known for their thin styles include Futura, Akzidenz-Grotesk, and Century Gothic.
Hey there! In the Layers panel, find your text layer. At the bottom of the panel, there's an "fx" icon. Click it and choose "Drop Shadow" from the list. You can also go to the top menu bar, navigate to Layer > Layer Style > Drop Shadow.

I'm using photoshop in 2020 oct 18th, and even the FIRST step he suggest which is pushing T to bring up the text window it doesn't even do anything lmao. Lost from the first step. nice.
Thanks for this great tutorial, it's way better than the 3 minutes tutorial that's listed first in the search...

Great work. Great presentation. Thanks for making it efficient and yet easy to follow (using my pause button ;-). Stellar!
How can there be a dislike when the video is only 3 minutes old?
You couldn’t have watched the video.
Some people live to hate
It's from the other people doing Photoshop tutorials, because Aaron makes it look so easy! :)
The only possible reason is that we've already talked about 1. Type tool and 2. Alignment but it's a great recapitulation nevertheless! ^^

Both ways could work. Ultimately, you follow the workflow that works best for you!

I had to do a shift backspace not the shift delete to put the solid color fill in the rectangle box.

@@photog1529 This copywriter got a few more gray hairs, nevertheless, the gentelman/gentleman knows his stuff - love the instruction.
@@AnandaGarden Won't argue with you there. I learned more in the last few days watching Aaron's videos...knows his stuff, and presents it well.
I need to put text below the picture not on top of it. Is there a way to do that in photoshop?

I used the shape tool instead of the Rectangular Marquee tool at the bottom. 😮
12:27 I cant seem to adjust my color fill. I can move it around but not change height and width. Any ideas? Would be much appreciated.
Great Job! Thanks i learned alot !!
