Fun fact, at 6:01 if you reverse the dogs ineligible speech he says "must mistrust grunkle." This is one of many Easter eggs hidden throughout the show.
With the book of bill released, it’s been confirmed that the dog was a super powerful creature called “The Beast.” Apparently as dangerous as Bill Cipher
Yep, I’m from California too, and she is basically my Mom. Kooky, loves sweaters, and might have traits of a psycho. Only superficial ones. The whole family tree is so goofy you’d think we were hiding some extradimensional knowledge.
Dipper, given the age gap wouldn't realistically have a chance with Wendy but I love their bond beyond that. From the very start she's got his back and that's super sweet.
@@xolotltolox7626 3 years is 25% of Dipper’s _entire life so far,_ and 20% of Wendy’s. That’s huge! Age gaps matter less and less as you get older, but the younger you are the more of a difference they make. You grow up and change so quickly early on in life that small amounts of time amount to vastly different levels of development and life experience. You see the world differently at age 15 than you did at age 12, and those differences make it difficult if not impossible to be true equals in a healthy relationship.
Lol, I remember as a kid my family would do the whole "Shotgun rule" for the front seat. If you don't know what I mean, it's really simple. We'd be waiting out by the car and the first person to shout "Shotgun" when the person driving walked outside, they got to ride shotgun. However my parents usually made sure it was a different kid on the way to and from locations so we wouldn't be so mad. My grandma on the other hand is the kind of person that oldest gets shotgun seat, unless they let someone else have it.
personally- i prefer “kids” cartoons to “adult” cartoons. because for the most part the ones geared towards adults are just crass and vulgar to be crass and vulgar. Apparently i’m supposed to enjoy that??? idk, i much prefer the clever humor and kind’ve adventure plots from kids cartoons
The main reason I enjoy kids cartoons over most adult ones (apart from maybe Invincible) is that a lot of kids shows actually teach lessons so you can feel like the characters actually grow
Plus, most “adult” cartoons seem unbearably cynical and nihilistic. There’s enough bad stuff in the real world, I don’t need to go watch a bunch of shows about how everything sucks and everyone is a mean-spirited asshole.
I will strongly recommend other non anime like Ducktales 2017, Amphibia and Owl house. If you want some amazing writing, world building, twist and dark turns and the humor is like gravity falls.
During the end credits of episode 5, there is a secret code that reads "RQZDUGV DRVKLPD." and Once decoded it reads "ONWARDS AOSHIMA! ." During the end credits of episode 6, there is another secret code that reads "PU. FDHVDULDQ ZLOO EH RXW QHAW ZHHN. PU. DWEDVK ZLOO VXEVWLWXWH?" and Once decoded, it reads "MR. CAESARIAN WILL BE OUT NEXT WEEK. MR. ATBASH WILL SUBSTITUTE?"
The LGBTQ community (trans men and transmasc in general) loves the Dipper Manly ep cuz he is so Trans guy coded. it's a headcanon and this episode is, iirc, one of Alex's least favorites, but I love this one because Dipper basically teaches us that it doesn't matter what you look like, you can enjoy girly pop and still be masculine.
I bet there is a fanfic somewhere where Dipper grows up and goes back to Gravity Falls for like a vacation or wrapping up the Mystery Shack and meets up with Wendy.
Are you gonna watch 2 episodes in each video until season 2? Because if you do there's a MAJOR and I mean MAJOR spoiler in the title in one of the episode in Season 2. Just a heads up, we don't want anything spoiled to you in this series because all the reveals are absolutely worth the wait :)

Great stuff, as per usual, but I gotta say Ed Edd n Eddy when they were in school, aka during the fall and winter season was great cuz the animation got an update the the slapstick was even more insane. It was great, should definitely look up some episodes and watch them. And the movie, which is essentially the last episode.
Me living in Oregon right now and most of my life👉👈 I don't own a flannel but I get the point. Any time I've lived other places everyone calls me a granola. I mean we are in logging country up here.
You guys should check out Star vs The Forces of Evil! It's another Disney cartoon with a lot of adventure and magical elements. Even if you don't react to it, you should check it out for your own enjoyment! I loved it
Mable actually changes her sweater each episode! She's based on the creators twin sister and he made sure to add that aspect for her 🙂
She also wears different pajamas with different pictures on the front of them

A classic

"Mabel looks like she came straight out of California" is funny as someone who knows they actually are visiting from California lol
