That's my home stream. Grew up less than a mile from where you guys put in. What a hidden gem for so many fish species. The small mouth population isn't what it was a decade ago, but I found my passion for fishing on that little river. Wish I could've seen you guys out there. Would've loved to say hello. How often do y'all actually GET to fish? As you know, I'm in North Georgia. We've had rain all this last week and the waters are stained and swollen. But, next week it's a trophy trip on War-woman Creek for me, and wifey and I will visit the Great Smoky Mountain National Park for a little wild trout hunt on the Oconaluftee River NOT on tribal lands. By the way, if you had a 3 weight 7.6' rod, what 5 flies would you make sure you had in your box?
