      What absolute rubbish. I'm not surprised it was blocked off by half the world. Why do you actually do this? Djokovic will probably end up being the best ever so why make these sort of videos. If this post is over five months old, just what have you achieved against Federer and more so Nadal. Absolutely nothing. What a waste of your time making nasty accusations. They are still the most popular tennis players, Nadal winning three awards in the last week. As far as Australia goes. Nadal had all the correct papers and had had the vaccination. Why should he take responsibility over Djokovic choice. You seem to blame him, but just tell me where were all Djokovics mates from his players association during the Australian saga? Did any of them make a comment to the press or interview to support Djokovic openly. His players association members did not seem to want to support their leader. Unfortunately for you, you will never bring , particularly Nadal down for all these false allegations.

  • @fifa3
    @fifa3 2 ปีที่แล้ว +165

    One more thing I would add is that Nadal tested positive for covid 8 days before he entered Australia while Australia required that at least 10 or 14 days needs to pass after testing positive to enter the country. Therefore Nadal entered the country illegally and was allowed to play the tournament while Djokovic legally entered the country with a valid medical exemption that was granted to him by 2 independent Australian medical boards under a blind review which was examined by medical doctors, epidemiologists and immunologists yet he was unlawfully jailed and deported following an executive order by a politician abusing his power despite winning the court case to stay in the country and compete. Knowing that Nadal entered Australia illegally makes his statements so pathetic and disgusting. That's yet another reason why his 21st grandslam will always have an asterisks over it.

      I think the new Australian government will lift the ban on Novak, so he will compete at the Australian Open. He will also be able to participate at the French Open and Wimbledon. But the US Open is questionable. The US has turned the vaccine into a partisan issue, and the current administration has backed the vaccine. Plus the pharmaceutical giants have incredible lobbying power. I would not be surprised if Novak isn’t allowed to enter the US in 2023.

    Only Djokovic can be BY FAR the best player in the world and be ranked 7 after winning a slam. He also loses 1200 more ranking points at US Open if I'm not mistaken. There is a realistic chance that Djokovic can end up at World No. 13 by the time US Open is over. It's absolutely unbelievable and unfair. Hopefully, the tournaments realize that he is still the best player in the world and don't use his temporary low ranking as a reason to lambast him with unreasonably difficult draws.

    I dont understand how it at least wasn’t a topic that you’re allowed to gain points up to the amount you made last year. For example if you got to the SF last year, you at least get to defend your points by getting to the SF and wont lose points. If you end up going further you still get 0 points, but at least dont drop. If you lost earlier this year, you drop the points compared to last year.
    Then no one is benefiting nor at disadvantage. Somehow ATP made you a victim for not being Russian lol.
    And how Wimbledon did not understand that tennis is very different to all the other sports: in every team sport, it’s more correct to ban russian teams. For example in football. Cause russian football teams are a part of the russian football federation, which is related to the russian government and funded by it, hence russian football clubs are funded by the government (not all of their money, but partly), which also pay the players. Hence you’re supported by and representing the russian government.
    Tennis players on the other hand, dont belong nor compete for any russian tennis federation except in Davis cup and ATP cup (sure, more understandable if they were banned from those tourns) and aren’t funded by them and hence dont represent the tennis government. They are funding themselves from what they have had and through prize money/sponsors and represent themselves, and partially the ATP which is an international federation/association stretching over every country in the world, not one. Tennis players play for themselves, they dont play for a team which is a part of a russian federation.
    Wimbledon have basically banned you for randomly having been born for a certain nationality which was not under your own influence, and not for your choices of who you represent…

    • @ivordundic6095

      Imagine all the low ranked players who have done well so far this year . Fiiinally getting alot of points, finally climbing many places, which means they fiiinally can skip qualifiers for bigger tournaments, can fiiinally be seeded in 250/500 ATP tournaments. But no, two guys with a clear agenda thinking focusing on themselves and Djokovic vs hundreds of players.
      Look at Van Rijthoven, if it wasn’t for Nadal and Federer, he could finally get a kickstart to his ATP carreer adding 180 points to his 546 points. He’d go from #104 to 76, and most likely much higher considering players higher ranked than him did worse than last year and would drop points.
      Look at Goffin, been fighting so hard for years for a comeback, in the QF now guaranteed 360 points, adding 180 from last year, would’ve gone from #58 to #38 and most likely even higher. British Heather Watson with a carreer best Wimbledon result at the age of 30, never been in R4 giving 180 points at #109.
      They’ve basically ruined the dream results and the biggest achievements of tens of players, and ruined possible turn points for their careers

He has destroyed Federers career yet mainipulated him into friendship. The whole tour should unite against Nadal by having a communal playbook on how to beat him. Even then the ATP tour cheats for him. Fed and Djokovic should have shared notes on beating Nadal on clay for the good of us fans.

      They were always rotten. They were always bitches but it is hard to spot if you are westerner. They were hiding it with politeness and PR...but it is a cultural thing. Not Federer or Nadal thing, but cultural thing in general.
      I don't know where you live (you have western name) but the west in general likes a good presentation, it is in their (yours) blood. It is how you are wired.
      East (or at least eastern Europe) likes the heart, sincerity and justified cockiness, no matter how it sounds.
      Just to demonstrate ->
      when young and naive Djokovic wanted to say "Nadal is not that good, he is beatable. Yes, he is the best at clay, very strong, but beatable" he just said it, plain and simple. Western reporters laughed; later Novak probably received PR training in order to conform to the standard western media bullshit to some extent... When Novak wants to defend colleagues from Russia and lower ranked players, he does it, he doesn't calculate and wait what PR is going to advise, if Lacoste is going to like it, if fans are going to like it, of sponsorships are going to be lost. It is called principle. It is called "cojones".
      Now, when Federer wants to say "he is a lucky bastard, I want to kill him and kill myself tol" it actually ends up as "I would never hit the ball that way on the match point...it is not a skill. But, apparently, some players do that". How low is that? Especially when the guy (Novak) is doing it for entire career and already did it to Federer. And did that again later.
      Not to mention Nadal and the latest interviews...
      Simply put, it was ok while Novak was a clown.
      It was ok while Novak started to be better.
      It was ok while Novak was trailing closely.
      But, suddenly, it is not ok when he is the best ever on paper.

    I thought I was the only one who thought that it was Nadal and Federer who worked behind the scenes to prevent Djokovic from playing in Australian open especially when he went there and to play given the go ahead by Victorian govt and Australian tennis....and the stripping of points from players who opted to play in Wimbledon. Thought that was a bit funny. Now everything is out in the open...the two of so called top players in the world are actually spiteful vicious and devious. Anyway what you steal will never be yours...you'll lose it one way or another. See what happened to the liberal party who refused Djokovic entry into Australia..they lost in the election...karma...It's only points that Djokovic lost but for the big two they will lose more than points if this is proven true...Djokovic will come back and come back in a very big way...

    Its so good, so pleasing to watch all those things he is doing to them, after all. As Im writing this, Novak is on a 36/1 record, from Wimbldon 2022 until AO 2023. Along that period he won, Wimbldon, Tel Aviv, Astana, Torino, Adelaide and Australian Open. Lost only to Rune in Paris Masters 1000 final in 2022. Thats just absolute domination in sport of male tennis!

    yes Wimbledon ban on RUS players to compete was introduced has everything to do with conflict in UKR and Medvedev being top player during the period of time (leading to third GS).
    UK royal family, who traditionally visit Wimbledon and trophy presentation in particular, did everything to avoid any possibility to meet RUS player during that ceremony (although it was OK for them to meet russian born Rybakina who was representing different country).
    So there we go politics played the game in ban of RUS representatives, and at the end other 70-80 tennis players paid the price

    Goatkovic, when the Wimbledon point scandal happened in 2022, do you believe that both Nadal AND Federer were involved in the stripping of points? Or do you think it was just Rafa's decision, and Fed simply refrained from opposing his "friend" to avoid damaging his public reputation? All we know is that the head of the ATP Players council implemented the decision, but we were never told which player, or playerS, came up with it.
    I mean, even as a Nole fan, I find it difficult to believe that Federer would be malicious enough to go to such extreme lengths to sabotage Novak's career. With Nadal, I can definitely understand, because he has been so fake, cowardly and unsportsmanlike since the beginning, but with Federer, while he also did not have the best character, I don't think he was ever really as bad as Nadal, at least, not after 2011. Also, for instance, look at their interviews after Djokovic won US Open 2023. Federer congratulated Novak on his victory and had some nice praises to say, but Nadal, on the other hand, only made salty hypocritical remarks about how Djokovic is more obsessed than him with records.
    Also, unlike Nadal, Federer was never cowardly enough to tank matches or fake injuries to avoid facing Djokovic. When he was 32-37 years old, he could have done so multiple times to preserve his leading H2H against Novak, and nobody would have blamed Federer as it is typically super challenging for athletes to consistently advance to semis and finals of Slams in their late thirties. But at least he was courageous enough to face him, even when he had no chance of winning. This is a quality I can never see in Nadal.
    I don't like Federer or Nadal either, but at least, I respect Federer to some extent.
    For the reasons mentioned above, I doubt he was really as determined to sabotage Djokovic as Nadal was.
    But at the same time, for him to openly oppose Nadal would attract negative public attention. For many years, Roger and Rafa have both enjoyed the privilege of being the media's posterboys (and still do), thanks to which they gained immense popularity, many sponsorships and awards. And if Federer were to sacrifice his friendship with Nadal (which he always felt pressured by the media and fanbases to keep) and actively go against him, it would cause public outrage and Nadal fanatics would viciously attack Roger, all of which could risk losing much of his privileges. And honestly, who would want to put themselves in that position? In today's world, there aren't many people who would be selfless enough to do that.
    Furthermore, Djokovic arguably dealt a far larger damage to Nadal's career than he did to Federer's. At least Federer dominated his own era (2004-2007) and before Novak came to the picture, held countless records and was hailed as the undisputed GOAT of tennis. Whereas Nadal never had his own extended period of dominance, thanks in large part to Djokovic's ascent to his peak. As you mentioned in one of your other videos (the one about when Nadal started wishing for 2 Clay Slams), after years of trying, he dethroned Federer on all surfaces and was on the verge of becoming the next King of tennis. But then, Djokovic came to the picture and flipped the "Nadal era" into "Djokovic era", beating him 7 consecutive times across all surfaces in 2011-2012, and demolishing him in straight sets on all of their HC matches over the last 10 years. This not only ruined Nadal's chances to start his own era and improve his all-surface records, but it also indirectly changed his rivalry with Federer. It is well-known that one of the reasons for Federer's vastly improved success against Nadal later in his career was that he learned from Djokovic's playbook, which allowed him to incorporate some elements of Novak's playing style into his own. And now, after having lost all of his last 16 non-clay matches against his two biggest rivals, he would forever be recognised as a clay court specialist, "Claydal", "Weakdal", "Thirdal" etc. by rival fans. All of this thanks to Djokovic.
    Having been through all that, no wonder he is so salty to Novak.
    But what do you think about this? Do you still believe that Federer was also involved in the stripping of Wimbledon points in 2022?

    • @goatkovic
      @goatkovic  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I think Federer is just smarter than Nadal and knows when to stay quiet. Since we're on the subject, I believe that Federer's calculation about 2022 AO was that by eliminating Novak, he would prevent both him and Nadal from getting to 21. He never expected that Nadal would win it.

    Frauderer is Palpatine, Nadal is Anakin Skywalker, Novak is Luke Skywalker.
    Like has been good all time, with sometimes a bad temper, but his heart is in the right place. Anakin’s heart was good, he meant well, but his heart went rogue after Palpatine’s influence. Palpatine is envious, evil through his very core and taints everyone who is close to close him: Frauderer. But Palpatine presents himself to the world as the savior, the best man around: Frauderer. Fed is the one who destroyed Nadal’s heart. Think about it😉
