L’Oréal owns several brands…Carols Daughter to name one…so they are not behind in the natural hair, space. They have a hand in several brands focused on various small, medium companies we just don’t hear about it…but they are not the large player for nothing.🙂 Just depends on how they decide to market for the highest pay off.
Kerasatse is totally luxurious and worth every penny It’s my fave…. granted I don’t have lush long curly hair lol So I imagine it would run out quickly If it’s in your price range I say go for it ❤️
Amber, I love you, but I saw these today at Sephora. I read the ingredients and they have Sodium Hydroxide in there products. Sodium Hydroxide is Lye and the active ingredient in hair relaxers. They break the disulfide bonds in your hair, damaging your curls. I suspect if you use this regularly, your hair will get damaged, and I suspect that's what happened with Diva Curl when hair was getting damaged (they also have sodium hydroxide in their products). Run! I will never use any hair product with Sodium Hydroxide in it. I was a licensed hair stylist for about 22 years, so I understand how SH works. All these major brands "act" like they care and want to create curly girl products, but they are putting harmful ingredients in them. Sodium Hydroxide...NO THANK YOU! There is no need for that and I am sure they know better.
Fun fact. I watch dog grooming channels. The thing they *always* mention is do not bathe the dog first if you have a matted / tangly dog, as that will make it all tighten even more. Ever since that time I started to detangle before the wash, on dry hair, and there is some truth to that even for human hair! I swear! Kérastase is an amazing brand, even their regular lines. My dad used to use their special shampoo for dandruff and yes: amazing!
I love Kerastase but this collection ingredients are not so good (Salicylic Acid,Benzyl Salicylate,Methylparaben)they are suspected endocrine disruptor And I use the native stick deodorant and like you am in love with them,am definitely going to used you link to buy more Danke

If you're having trouble detangling with your conditioner, don't immediately add more conditioner. Add more water first to see if it helps.

I too always brush out my hair before washing. Otherwise the knots would get worse.
