Ive noticed that some of the TH-camrs I watch who have long healthy hair, they wash their hair more frequently like every 4-5 days. Our hair craves water/moisturizing products. By washing more frequently your not letting your hair get tangled or dry, your staying on top of things which is great. Ive started washing every 5 days and my hair really likes it so far.

Vanessa Williams I cant do that, because iv noticed, if I wash too often, I’m manipulating my hair too much an ensure touching my hair too much. I notice when I leave my hair alone, it’s fine because my hair stays moisturized because I deep condition every wash day (once a week) and I use a moisturizing leave in cream and then a gel and then I don’t have to wash my hair so often because if I touch my hair too much, it’s breaking off

Adda M Abdu washing all of you hair with shampoo can strip your hair. So when you rinse it with water the shampoo runs though your hair and cleans it

I don’t prepoo but I do shampoo every Friday or Saturday with a deep condition...I also do an intense soaking wet down of my hair or cowash mid week to refresh. Less is more and the less my hands are in my hair the more it flourishes! Your hair is beautiful 😊
Hello when you soak your hair do you reapply all your products? I'm finding that by day five my hair feels dry. Think I need to do this!

Sandra Reid hello! When I do a midweek refresh whether by soaking it wet or cowash, yes I reapply products. Right now bc it’s so hot, I just use gel or a light leave in and gel. Water is the best moisturizer...so by midweek my hair is dry and thirsty 🤣
The JBCO masque is amazing. I have 3c4a hair and it’s nice seeing someone else with my hair type to have an idea of what to expect when it gets longer
I used to have a hooded dryer, but left it behind when I moved across the country. I miss having one at my house. That dryer you use look so expensive, but cool, too! I'm jelly! I do not pre-poo, but I heavily oil my hair with coconut or henna oil, at least an hour or more before I wash my hair. Since I've been doing that my wash day has been a lot easier and my hair looks very moisturized and has a ton of sheen to it.
The detangler products really give your hair a BEAUTIFUL LOOK! Looks very HEALTHY

I feel like im always late to your routine videos! But my daughter has low porosity on the crown and then high on the other portions. I struggled with maintaining the low until I bought these products the other day. I just got done doing her weekly treatment today, and girlllllll that crown of hers is popping! Lol im so excited because now her whole hair is healthy. It's a struggle though doing the LOC method for the high porosity and then the LCO for the low.

Thank you for this. I’m trying to learn so I can help my 15 year old who is very frustrated with her hair. It is very similar to yours! I would like to learn more about how you style your hair on days 2-5. She likes her hair the first day. She’s tried the pineapple trick to put her hair up at night but then doesn’t really know what to do with it the next couple of days. I believe she probably isn’t spraying enough water before trying to style but I have straight her and she just rolls her eyes at me. Also she’s in a hurry bc she has to go to school. Ends up in a bun most of the time. Anyway, thanks for your detangling videos. Very helpful. I’m going to buy her the curltastic brush.

love this video & your routine.. im curious what you do at night in between wash days tho? i always up putting mine in a bun so it doesnt tangle while i sleep and then its not manageable to wear down the next day, so i end up having to re-wet my hair in the shower and having to reapply products almost daily which im sure you can imagine i go through products very fast and its very time consuming everyday while im getting ready.. any tips?

I love who the ORS oliveoil product line.
I often shop according to First cost per quantity and quality, because my products have to last me a good one so I'm not shopping more than 4 times per year except for conditioners and leave-ins. I use a ton of conditioners.

Thanks for the tips beautiful I also found out recently that using a shower filter will help as well used it so far and what a difference it made.
Sis I have the same texture as you and recently cut my hair up to my collar bone cause I have too much hair and the wash process was tiring, I’m glad I saw your technique, pre poo and de tangle before jumping in the shower because I only get 15 minutes of hot water and I was over it, my stylist was like are you sure...I said CUT IT OFF!
