... I dont think so, Rodeo riders use slide ins and pull a horse trailer I never noticed one tralel in a van B4 ? but yes I do like vans and was a 2% back in the 80' had a couple custom Chebbys ..!

I don’t think it was a mistake to sell Duke but I think a van may better suit your travel needs.
So moving to an apartment/house in Oregon? That is a major change. Sorry for the struggles, but glad to see another video from you guys. Just know that our minds will never stop creating problems to solve no matter the rig or the state we reside in.
Struggles come and go all that matters is what you do with the struggle to turn it around!

I think that you were really find your people in Oregon even if that means saying goodbye to some of the people that you have met along the way but as vanlifers you know it's not really goodbye, it's see you later! And now all your family and friends can come visit you in Oregon! Woot!!

I’ve been sober 20 years after dealing with mental health issues and alcoholism. Reality is it’s not something you can run from. You can change everything around you but it will follow. Care for yourself first. That’s where you’ll find happiness

The wife and i are just about to start our new life in our van! Scrolling threw you tube, just looking at everybody idea's and lifestyle, found this channel,. and man,...Been watching for the last,3 hours now, lol, Have to say, We absolutely love yall!! @@LostRenegades I'm only speaking the truth. If traveling no longer brings the joy, then letting Duke go on a different adventure was the best choice. You can always decide to build out another van, one that Charlie can stand up in. Oregon sounds like a blast! 😁😎✌️

Thanks guys 🖤🖤 It was definitely time to move on from the the van and it wasn’t an option with my job to keep it bc of the lack of space. Idk if I could pick which setup is better since we never lived the same life in both vehicles but I feel like nothing will come close to the novelty of the first build in the van. We miss the simplicity of that and hope to get back to that soon

Ok. So that was alot. Jenn, I’m sorry for your struggles with mental health. My son who is 36 has schizoaffective. So I understand how hard it is and how quick it turns dark. My prayers for you. I’m always here if you want to give me a shout. As for the camper. I don’t think it was a mistake. You just found another thing that just isn’t for you. There are no mistakes, just learning experiences. You will never succeed unless you try and with that comes along a lot of stuff.
Putting down roots is and can be a good thing. Stability when working a 9-5 will be less stressful. Tell Charlie to get a job so he isn’t bored😂. Dual income gives more freedom. Anyway. I’m just happy you two can work it all out together and agree on things. Best of luck my two favorite kids ❤

Nice to see you guys again 😂 I've commented about 'why not buy a sprinter' which I did buy and build out a 2006 for $6k + $4k improvements 4 years ago. And you even got a one less sprinter sticker 😂... Now maybe you could take back dissing on something that makes sense like a Sprinter? Mine is my daily driver, work, camping, and it just passed 300k miles and I won't sell it even though I've been offered $25k 😂 I do own a fantastic home in Astoria Oregon which helps :))

I think you guys need a skoolie! Dang that camper has some rotted sides. I hate campers for that reason but I suppose a new one would be ok for a while.
Ahh we love being able to take the camper off the truck don’t think we’ll go back haha. Yea was rotted but it was easily replaced!
One of the drawbacks of truck campers is that you have to go outside to get back to the camper or to the cabin of the truck to drive. I've always thought. What happens if you are sleeping or cooking and there is something dangerous outside and you want to leave? You have to go outside to drive. I thought why didn't they buy something bigger than their van? something like a Mercedes Sprinter?? 😐 Just my opinion.
The truck camper is much bigger than the van we have so much space in it. And yes we can’t access it from the camper to get into the truck but even if something was happening outside in a van 99% you can just turn the key and drive away there’s so much stuff to usually put away and we have never been in that position yet lol ( knock on wood)
you should do a european camper Tour... that is so much to see and not rushing through you did last time..

Look on the bright side. At least you didn't get stuck with a lemon class-c RV. That would be a very expensive mistake. Now you have a perfectly good truck, and you can just remove that camper and forget about it. And if you change your mind you could get a teardrop or a 5th wheel camper.
Very true it could be way worse! Fortunately we made all the repairs and the camper is in tip top shape!

Yeah they make campers cheap as heck pretty much have buy and totally rebuild yourself
It was made pretty well in my opinion just poor upkeep. We found rotted wood from leaks they were not handled when they should have so unfortunately we dealt with the downfall haha

You're not going to find any BLM land on the east coast, as most BLM public lands are located in these 12 western states: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Not all hospital lots are free. I’ve been to a bunch across the country and 90% of them are paid. Also why would I want to sleep there anyway?

I see all the solar panels in the distance. I believe I know where you guys are, I live just outside of Las Vegas too bad I did not know you were around. I could’ve showed you guys some off-road adventures with the sandrails and quads.
