Was able to make this work on the new patch. Instead of merc pants, I picked up winged boots and turtle pants. I swapped over to that when picking up throngler
In version 1.0.5, mercenary legs not only drop items, but also increase your attack count +1 per 8 floors. In the current version (1.0.9) the +1 attack count was removed. I don't think I would recommend mercenary anymore
There's a chest somewhere within the first 12 floors or so called the "Chest of Opportunism" which allows you to always hit enemies that have no energy. Open it and you wont have trouble fighting the Suns!
@@sboonski I absorbed items with "deceit" to defeat the Suns. The Sun has very little hp. Deceit attacks ignore armor and deal damage even if you dodge the attack.
v1.0.9 nerfed so many sets/builds that the game feels more frustrating than anything now. Can't recommend the game in it's current state if I'm being totally honest.
An update for Megaloot recently came out (v1.0.9) thus making this guide a bit obsolete. Will work on a new guide soon!
Thanks, works great for me on v.1.0.9!

Make sure you open the "Chest of Opportunism" when you see it
Just run into an enemy on floor 26 called elite sun that makes me miss every attack. How am I supposed to go though him? Thanks for the vid
