However, she definitely has always had a more progressive view of the church and doesn’t blindly follow everything the church tells you to follow, this album being a perfect example of this since.

To add to your comments on Americano, there was more to the song that you missed. The song is half in Spanish, and half in English, because the song is about her falling in love with a woman who was also an illegal immigrant. She wants to marry her because they're in love, but also for her lover to become a citizen. But same sex marriage was illegal, and ICE was coming to deport her partner, so they ran away together, and the song ends with her saying "Don't you try to catch me, I'm living on the edge of the law", and a gun shot. I always imagined the video to be sort of like Telephone, where she's running from the police with her lover.
And with Scheiße -- the word is German for "Shit" --- she mentions in the chorus that she wishes she could be strong without this "Scheiße/shit" and then goes into the verse where she speaks fake German. She mentioned in an interview that the fake German was supposed to be symbolic of the "bullshit" she hears from the men around her, who are threatened by her being a strong woman.

"Bad Kids" was very empowering for me as an abused child. I was always told I was bad by my parents and had to find my power and beauty from within with time as I grew older.

Omg Heavy Metal is probably my top favorite out of the album because of "I can be your girl but would you love me if I ruled the world?" for some reason, that lyric is just really meaningful to me.

So this is coming a year late and y'all probably know already but here's the T about the song Ajay cannot pronounce: "Scheiße" (to be pronounced like "shysse") is the German word for "shit". So she is basically singing about women empowerment as y'all know. A friend of mine has also an interesting theory that the "gibberish" she sings is a mix of words from different languages. For example she is singing "madre monster" which is Spanish or "Fräulein" which is German. And if you could now identify all words and their meaning from all the foreign languages she uses it would actually form a sentence that makes sence. watching your reactions on Lady Gaga's albums despite it being released years prior made me remember not only my first listening experiences but also how her music actually saved my life particularly this album. I thought I was getting bored of her songs (for her lack of major pop song release) but your genuine reactions made me realize how powerful her lyrics are. IMO "Heavy Metal Lover" is extremely euphoric.

So this is coming a year late and y'all probably know already but here's the T about the song Ajay cannot pronounce: "Scheiße" (to be pronounced like "shysse") is the German word for "shit". So she is basically singing about women empowerment as y'all know.
A friend of mine has also an interesting theory that the "gibberish" she sings is a mix of words from different languages. For example she is singing "madre monster" which is Spanish or "Fräulein" which is German. And if you could now identify all words and their meaning from all the foreign languages she uses it would actually form a sentence that makes sence. Unfortunately I don't speak enough foreign languages to prove this theory myself but if it is actually true, Gaga is a genius. Well we can all agree she definately is a genius anyway.

i have a playlist called “marrying the night” and if i ever feel sad or need a confidence boost, i put it on. the marry the night music video literally got me from on the floor no energy depression to determined and motivated to change myself.
